Immanuel

Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14

Israel asked for a sign from God, and God sent a sign his name is Jesus Christ! What does this sign mean? More importantly what does this sign mean to you? The name Immanuel is a title, same as the title Christ (Messiah) Immanuel means “God is with Us”

God came down to Earth to save humanity. God didn’t just come to save Israel , God came to save the entire world. Immanuel “God is With Us” Think about that.

And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14

God became Flesh and lived among us! Can you imagine God becoming a man and living with us, and not only that taking the penalty and suffering for our sins. Can you imagine the Creator of the Heavens and Earth would care enough about you, to come down and save your life?

Can you imagine the Lord of Lords would leave his throne and become the Passover Lamb of God to free you from sin and death?

This will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Luke 2:12

A sign from God was given to us, Immanuel “God is with Us”. He became the baby in the manger to be our Lord and Savior. Come to the Manger and bow down before your new born King in Jesus Name Amen!

Prince of Peace

“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

Peace? How can we have peace today in a world full of evil and chaos? We as Christians can have Peace and Joy, because of Jesus Christ. To the people of the world living for the flesh, this doesn’t make any sense. How can we have internal Peace through One Man? Because Jesus wasn’t just a Man, he is God in the Flesh (John 1:14) who took the wages of Sin upon himself at the Cross so we may have eternal life

This means whatever your going through today, whatever suffering you may be enduring, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel through Christ. Your best days have yet to be seen until Christ returns and restores Gods Kingdom. This present suffering is a mere stumbling block and not our destiny

Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you. John 16:22

Jesus told his disciples, they will receive Joy because of him, that nobody can take away from us. You see they can take away our Earthly possessions, maybe our health will diminish, maybe we’ll even lose our life for Christ sake, but it doesn’t matter because our soul belongs to The Lord!

Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28

Nobody can take your soul except God alone! Therefor don’t fear the evils of this world, have Peace and Joy knowing your soul belongs to Jesus Christ Amen!

SIN

If you say in your heart, ‘Why have these things happened to me?’ Because of the magnitude of your iniquity Your skirts have been removed And your heels have been exposed. Jeremiah 13:22

A lot of bad things happen to people because of SIN, The iniquities of mankind. Sin has consequences, and there usually all bad consequences. SIN has a chain reaction also, when someone commits a SIN it usually effects other people also.

For example, a drunk driver crashes into a family killing them. Why did this happen to the innocent family? Because of the sins of the drunken person. SIN is selfishness, SIN is self-gratifying and usually destructive. When you SIN , your not only effecting your own life but also the other people in your path

The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. Psalm 19:7

This is why God has a Moral Law. Its not because God wants to control people or tell them what to do. Its actually the opposite, God is trying to steer us in the right direction. God wants us to live a long and fruitful life, this will not happen when you live in SIN.

Yes bad things happen to good people, usually if you trace back the origins of the evil, it typically started with someones SIN

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

This is why God sent us a Savior, this is why we need Jesus Christ. Humanity is not capable of saving themselves. Turn away from Sin and Accept Jesus as your Lord Amen!

Spirit of Truth

And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; John 16:8

One of the many roles of the Holy Spirit is the Convictor.  When you Sin, you feel guilty of this Sin, why? Because the Holy Spirit is convicting you of your sin. The Holy Spirit wants you to Repent of your Sins and come to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

You might think it sounds harsh or wrong for God to continually convict people of their sins. However the Holy Spirit is trying to save your soul. He is trying to get you to recognize your Sin and come to the only Way for Salvation , Jesus

concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; John 16:9

Why would people Repent or come to Christ if they don’t know what  Sin is? This is part of the Holy Spirits role to draw people to Christ. It is said only God can truly lead people to Jesus, and this is how he does it.  God doesn’t want anyone to perish, so he works on them through the Holy Spirit

But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. John 16:13

The Spirit of Truth (The Holy Spirit) speaks for God. Listen to the Holy Spirit, allow him to guide and lead you. If you are unsure what direction you should go, ask the Holy Spirit to lead and convict you!

Follow the Spirit of Truth in Jesus Name Amen!

False Shepherds

“Many shepherds have ruined My vineyard, They have trampled down My field; They have made My pleasant field A desolate wilderness. Jeremiah 12:10

God had delivered Israel everything,he delivered them out of slavery, he provided for them in the wilderness,  he gave them the Promise Land, however Israel was never satisfied with what God provided. They became wicked and worshiped pagan gods trampling on the Kingdom God was building here on Earth

It has been made a desolation, Desolate, it mourns before Me; The whole land has been made desolate, Because no man lays it to heart. Jeremiah 12:11

The Promise Land has become a land of desolation because of the wickedness it their hearts. Israel cared more about their sin and wickedness then they did about praising and worshipping God.

Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. Matthew 7:15

The word pastor is latin for shepherd. Jesus warned us that the false pastors/prophets/shepherds will come to destroy the Church. Just as the false shepherds trampled on and destroyed Israel internally, the false prophets today are trying to destroy the “Church” internally also

You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? Matthew 7:16

By their fruits you will now these people, what are the motives on these people? Are they serving God or serving themselves? Is what they are saying confirmed in the Word of God?

The biggest problem with Christianity today is the heretical teachings accepted today by many Christians because of lack of Biblical knowledge. Know who you are following, test the Spirits, don’t allow your Church to become a desolate wasteland because of wickedness Amen!

Happy Thanksgiving

When Jesus went ashore, He saw a large crowd, and He felt compassion for them because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and He began to teach them many things. When it was already quite late, His disciples came to Him and said, “This place is desolate and it is already quite late; Send them away, that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat. Mark 6:34-36

As we eat our Thanksgiving feast this year with your family, lets reflect on another large feast that happened. However this had different circumstances. There was about 5,000 people who came to hear Jesus teaching, and it began to get late. These people have traveled far distances with children, and are all very hungry at this point

But He answered them, “You give them something to eat!” And they said to Him, “Shall we go and spend two hundred denarii on bread and give them something to eat?” Mark 6:37

The disciples initial reaction was to send everyone away to get their own food. But notice Jesus response “You give them something to Eat!” The disciples response is “It would take a years salary to feed all these people”, but Jesus knew God would provide

And He said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go look!” And when they found out, they said, “Five, and two fish.” And He commanded them all to sit down by groups on the green grass. They sat down in groups of hundreds and of fifties. Mark 6:38-40

Jesus question to the disciples is “What do you got?” They responded he only had 5 loaves and 2 fish, which by our human standard we would say this is impossible to feed 5 thousand people. But Jesus response is “Sit Down”!  Jesus is saying Sit down God has got this!

And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up toward heaven, He blessed the food and broke the loaves and He kept giving them to the disciples to set before them; and He divided up the two fish among them all. They all ate and were satisfied, Mark 6:41-42

Notice Jesus took the food and blessed it! And the little bit of food they had was multiplied, God provides! God took what little food they had to offer and used it to feed the masses!

This Thanksgiving before you eat, remember to Thank God for all he has provided so he can bless what you have to fulfill your needs in Jesus Name Amen!
