.The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.” Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be.
But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. Luke 1:28-30

Mary believed that she was just going to be an ordinary girl living an ordinary life, but one touch of Gods favor makes her extraordinary. Notice the angel Gabriel told Mary you are highly favored by God. This means God was watching her, admiring her faithfulness and holiness she committed to God.

You may think your life is ordinary or God doesn’t notice anything your doing, but he does. He knows every hair on your head. God has a plan, just like he did for Mary, stay faithful to God just like Mary did.

You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.  He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.” Luke 1:31-33

Notice Gabriel clearly identifies our Messiah as Jesus, there are many false religions or prophets that try to reject this. But Jesus is the name above all names, trust in the Word of God and not man made doctrine

As Gabriel also tells us Jesus is the King of Kings, he sits on the throne and all the nations and governments rest on his shoulders.  And his kingdom will never end, because he is the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end.

“How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?” The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. Luke 1:34-35

Jesus was born of a virgin because he was pure, the only human to walk the Earth who was sinless. But he took our sins for us. With man this seems impossible but with God all things are possible.

And Gabriel clearly identifies Jesus as the Son of God, make no mistake about it he sits at the right hand of God.  The Word became Flesh and dwelt among us, give Thanks to God for sending his Son Jesus to save us and give us eternal life in Jesus Name Amen

And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. Joel 2:28-29

How do we know when the return of Jesus is coming? Jesus said you will know by the labor pains, the time of travail. You look around the world and you see it everywhere. The world is a pressure cooker, nation has risen against nation, natural disasters and famine plaque the world.

But during this time God will also pour out his Holy Spirit upon us, giving us the wisdom, strength, and power to endure. To blow the horn of The Lords return so everyone is prepared.

I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. Joel 2:30-31

God uses the Heavens and The Earth as billboards for us to be warned. Many will dismiss these signs as coincidental but anyone who knows The Word of God knows these signs have meaning. Nobody knows the exact day or time of Jesus return, not even the angels in Heaven know. But God will prepare his children, so keep your lamps lit.

And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the LORD has said, even among the survivors whom the LORD calls. Joel 2:32

There is good news, God is faithful and there is deliverance. Anyone who calls upon Jesus will be saved. Accept Jesus today as your Lord and Savior. If you seek him, he will reveal himself to you. There is no other path to Heaven, he is the Truth, The Life, and The Way in Jesus Name Amen

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Typically when we pray  we are in need or suffering but do you ever stop to give Thanks to God for everything that is good in your life? The blessings you already have , the prayers that were already answered.

We can’t expect God to send us more blessings when we are not grateful for what we already have. Make sure you give Thanks to God, not just on Thanksgiving but every day.

Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift! 2 Corinthians 9:15

God has giving us the greatest gift of all thru our Lord Jesus Christ. His atonement sacrifice is an indescribable gift. How can you not be Thankful for the gift of eternal life?

How can you repay someone who gave you everything? You cant, but we can show our gratitude, love, and obedience to him.

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. 1 Chronicles 16:34

Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, his love endures forever. Doesn’t matter how far from God you may have been, just like the Prodigal Son, he’s waiting for you to come home with open arms. His love and mercy endures forever.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. Psalm 100:4

We should come to The Lord with Thanksgiving and praise always, not just on Thanksgiving but every day. Today is a gift from God, without him nothing is possible. No matter how tough life gets sometimes, be grateful you have for every moment.

This Thanksgiving remember to be thankful for your life, your family, your spouse, your children and most importantly our Lord Jesus Christ who gives us strength Amen

You deceived me, LORD, and I was deceived; you overpowered me and prevailed. I am ridiculed all day long; everyone mocks me. Jeremiah 20:7

When you speak the truth you’re not going to be very popular. Christianity today has become all about popularity and not the true message from God. Ministers today want to please the masses by giving them feel good messages and sugar coated sermons

However when you start talking about peoples sin and there need for repentance then everyone will quickly turn on you. Jeremiah found this out, a true prophet from God but the people didn’t want to hear what God was telling them.  God was telling them repent your sins, stop doing evil or your going to be destroyed.

But if I say, “I will not mention his word or speak anymore in his name,” his word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot. Jeremiah 20:9

But as much pain and suffering Jeremiah was enduring, he had a fire lit inside of him. That fire is the Holy Spirit, the power of the Living God. Even though Jeremiah knew he was going to be persecuted for Gods truth, he pressed on, he carried his cross, and he served The Lord

How many of us today have the fire inside us? How many of us hide that fire in fear of being unpopular or even persecuted?

But the LORD is with me like a mighty warrior; so my persecutors will stumble and not prevail. They will fail and be thoroughly disgraced; their dishonor will never be forgotten. Jeremiah 20:11

God promised us he won’t leave us or forsake us. All the people who mock you or persecuted you will eventually be dealt with by The King of Kings. The problem is people only look at their Earthly destiny and not there Heavenly destiny. Eventually everyone will come to judgement by The Lord not matter which path you take.

LORD Almighty, you who examine the righteous and probe the heart and mind, let me see your vengeance on them, for to you I have committed my cause. Jeremiah 20:12

God knows your heart and he knows your thoughts, as Jesus said “Blessed are the pure in Heart for they will see God

Don’t be afraid or unashamed to spread the true Word of God, if Satan isn’t attacking you , then your probably doing something wrong. Be strong and courageous in Jesus Name Amen

He said to them, “Do you bring in a lamp to put it under a bowl or a bed? Instead, don’t you put it on its stand?  For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open. Mark 4:21-22

As Christians we are called to be The light of the world, so its important we don’t hide our faith or our talents God has blessed us with. You might say I don’t want to draw attention to myself, but that’s the whole point. God made you a light of this world to attract people to his Word not be ignored.

God didn’t design you to be hidden, not to be a closet Christian. God wants you to be his hands and feet and show Christ living thru you. What good does it having talents giving by God if you never use them?

If anyone has ears to hear, let them hear.” Mark 4:23

Many times were hesitant to talk about God to others but there are many longing to hear the Good Word. When you know the love and sacrifice Jesus has giving us, its hard not only contain that hope but its also our duty to make disciples of all the nations.

“Consider carefully what you hear,” he continued. “With the measure you use, it will be measured to you–and even more. Mark 4:24

We should always be slow to speak and quick to listen, but be careful what your listening to. There are many who are either spreading false gospel or don’t really know the true gospel. That’s why its important for us to know The Bible, How can you teach others if you  don’t really know yourself?

Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.” Mark 4:25

Our riches are not in the world they are in Heaven, don’t be working for The Lord looking for great riches here on Earth. You will be rewarded by God when your mission is done. So don’t get discouraged that nobody is rewarding you , because God knows all the work you have done.

Remember to be The Light of the World, we are The Children of The light and not darkness. Don’t hide your faith and hope we have thru Jesus Christ Amen

Sin is like a beehive, we are enticed by the sweetness of it’s honey but unaware of the consequences of our trespasses. We partake in its sweetness and it tastes good, it satisfies the flesh. However lurking in that hive are angry bees looking to pay justice for our transgressions.

They begin to swarm and multiply in numbers. They surround you looking to destroy you not save you . You can’t escape them, they follow you wherever you go. You try to run faster but then just attack harder. Eventually you will be overcome and left in your pit.

Jesus is like a pool of water, he is deep and full of mercy. His living water is your only hope and he won’t reject you. You plunge into the water looking for mercy. You look up our the water and still see some angry bees trying to devour you. But they know if they enter the water they will be destroyed. For the Living Water is greater than there evil.

Eventually you are out of breathe so you have to come up out of the water. Your expecting another strike but there is a sense of peace in the air. Even though you are scared and battered by the strikes of the bees, you can now go without fear of being attacked.

Later you walk by another bee hive, will you repeat the same disobedience again or have you become transformed by the water? Life is full of choices, you must choose wisely or self-destruct in Jesus Name Amen
