Happy New Years

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17

Every New Year’s we try to start over, we reflect on the past year and our failures and downfalls.  We then usually make a commitment to make changes or improvements in our lives

This is the same when you give your life to Jesus, you become transformed and work upon improving yourself and your life so it can Glorify God.

(Ephesians 23-24) “And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”

Does this mean thru Jesus we become perfect? Of course not, the reason we need Jesus is because were not perfect. He paid the price for our sins, thru him we can learn to become transformed.

(Philippians 1:6) “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

To really begin to change we need to learn humility and love. We need learn to let go of our pride and trust in God.  Jesus taught us all about humility and love. He gave himself up to be mocked and crucified to save us all. How many of us would be willing to do this?

(Proverbs 11:2) ” When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.”

So this New Year’s reflect on your life, reflect on your legacy, what would people say of you? Are you leading the life you wish? What captures your heart?

(Proverbs 27:9) “As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart.”

This New Years let’s make a commitment to Christ..Give your life to Jesus..carry your cross and follow him..and you will see your old self pass away and your new self-become transformed. Amen


You are Gods Masterpiece

I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. Philippians 4:12

If I only looked like them.. If I only had more money..If I only had their connections.. We can cause a lot of unnecessary stress and sadness in our life when we constantly compare ourselves to others. We need to learn to have the attitude Paul did in this scripture “I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation”

You need to realize God has supplied you and blessed you with everything you need in your life. When we are ungrateful for what we have or giving, we are being ungrateful to God. We need to realize that you are a “ masterpiece” to God.

(Ephesians 2:10) “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”

We need to learn to trust in God to supply all our needs. He knows better for what we really need or don’t need.  Think back to the story of Abraham, God promised him a son. But him and his wife lost there patience and he had a child with her servant. Because he didn’t follows Gods plan he created a lot of extra heartache for him and his whole family. Eventually God fulfilled his promise and delivered Isaac. We need be more patient and content with God plan and what he provides for us.

(Proverbs 3:5) “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;”

With Social Media today it’s easier today to become discouraged, many people exaggerate or brag about their lives to build themselves up. But realize most people do this to compensate for their own emptiness. Be grateful for what God has giving you, if you can’t appreciate what you have now, why would God bless you with more?

(1 Thessalonians 5:18) ” give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Remember what Jesus taught us if something is causing us to sin to cut if off. Meaning if going on Social Media, ect is causing you distress or making your self esteem suffer, cut it off.

(Mark 9:47)” And if your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell,”

Don’t let the outside world ruin your appreciation for what God has blessed you with. In Jesus Name Amen

WE are ONE

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Genesis 1:27


With all the racial tensions in the world today it’s important that we understand we are all One. We are all made in the image of God, we are all One Race, and we are all one thru Jesus Christ.

(Galatians 3:28) “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.”

How can we all be made in the same image if we all look different? This is because of “Adaptation”

Adaptation– any alteration in the structure or function of an organism or any of its parts that results from natural selection and by which the organism becomes better fitted to survive and multiply in its environment.

Adaptation should not be confused with Evolution. As Evolution the theory is a species turns into another species. Where adaptation is just the changing of traits in the existing species.

To understand how it all began we need to reference “The Tower of Babel” (Genesis 11) in the Bible

Before this event the world had one language and when they conspired together to build a Tower to reach the heavens and proclaim themselves Gods, they were scattered all over the Earth and giving different languages so they did understand each other.

So after everyone was scattered among the Earth, their bodies over time started changing characteristics to adapt better to their climates, hence adaptation.

(Genesis 11:8) “So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.

So if you hate your neighbor you hate yourself. For we are all in this together.  If you truly love God then you must love everyone as your brother and sisters

(1 John 4:21) “And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.

Racism is complete ignorance, let’s stop looking and judging each other as separate races, We ARE ALL ONE. One thru Jesus Christ. We need to stop judging people based on there bodies adaptations and accept each other as equals.  If we can’t accept each other were probably not worthy of the Kingdom of God.


Your Mission

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45

Why did this happen to me God? How can you allow this to happen to me God? These are typical responses we lash out at God when tragedy strikes. But we need to understand we are the hands and feet of God.

If you are a Christian, then Jesus is living thru you. Therefore God should be living thru you, you should be doing the will of God.

(Romans 8:11) But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.


Is this easy? Of course not, God never said it was going to be easy but if we trust in him all things are possible. How can I possibly make a difference? Let’s reflect on the story of Exodus. 400 years the Isrealites were trapped in slavery only to be freed my Moses. Did Moses do this alone? Of course not God sent the plaques, parted the Red Sea, ect. but he used Moses as his “hands and feet.

(Mark 10:27)” “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”


Where do we begin? How do we save the world? One person at a time. Remember charity begins at home. Take care of your family, take care of your friends, take care of your neighbors, take care of your community. If every did this we wouldn’t have anymore problems.

Would there be any homeless if every family took care of each other? God has put you where you are for a purpose. Your family, your neighbors, your community, are tied to you for a reason. People travel far looking for mission trips but your mission is right where you are. Let Jesus live thru you and server your family, friends, neighbors, and community. Be a blessing to them.

(Jeremiah 29:7) Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”


I pray that thru Jesus we are able to save and serve our families, friends, neighbors, enemies, community in Jesus name Amen

Merry Christmas

And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. Luke 1:31

We probably heard the story of Jesus birth many times in our lives, but can we comprehend the impact this had on the entire world? For the first time “Word became Flesh (John 1:14) “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

Well you say what is  “The Word”?  Reference (John 1:1) “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”   So if the Word is God and the Word became flesh (Jesus) then Jesus is the living God When we realize who Jesus is then we understand how important this moment is for us all and the world.

But why would God live thru a “Carpenters Son”?  Jesus showed us the true love, mercy, and humility of God. Everyone was expecting the Messiah to be a “Ruthless King” like we humans are used to. But what Jesus showed us is  “More of You and Less of Me” (John 3:30) 

Jesus has the power and authority to rule the world but decided to suffer and die on the cross for our sins. Why? Because we have not been capable of saving ourselves so he showed us the mercy to do it for us.  (Revelations 5:4) “And I cried and cried because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or even to look in it.

When the world justified us being stoned to death for our sins, Jesus showed mercy and forgave the sinner. Gave us another chance to repent and sin no more. (John 8:7)

What God would suffer horrific beatings and taunting from mortal men? Our God, because he loves all his children he’s willing to sacrifice his only begotten son (John 3:16)

So just like the angels Glorified Jesus when he was born so shall we, for every knee shall bow and tounge shall confess Jesus Christ is Lord Amen

Countdown to Christmas Day 24

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14


God so loved the world he sent his only son, for the first time “Word became Flesh” as God lived thru Jesus here on Earth not only to save us but to show us how to have a relationship with our Heavenly Father.

(Colossians 1:15) “The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.”


But Jesus dwelt among the lowely and sinners, here to save us from our sins and not condemn us. He didn’t fit the description of what the Jews believed the Messiah would be, but he fulfilled all the prophecies and proved he is the King of Kings.

(Psalm 138:6) “Though the LORD is exalted, he looks kindly on the lowly; though lofty, he sees them from afar.”


And Jesus is the Glory of The Lord, however he was rejected by many and still is today. For Jesus is the true Messiah, the truth, the light, and the way. Anyone who believes and follows him will have eternal life.

(Hebrews 1:3) “The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.”


Immanuel, God is with us, the prophecy was fulfilled by Jesus Christ. He is the King of Kings who was born of the Virgin Mary and his Kingdom shall reign forever. Glory to God in the highest.

(Isaiah 7:14) “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.


Celebrate the Messiah, Glorify his name, God is with us. Remember to keep Christ in Christmas Amen

Countdown to Christmas Day 23

“‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.'” Matthew 2:6

God works in mysterious ways; for out of the little town of Bethlehem the King of Kings was born. This was probably a surprise not only to the world but also to Joseph and Mary.  Due to a census the Roman Empire was enforcing they reluctantly made the trip to Bethlehem. (Luke 2: 4-5) “And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David: be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.)

Although at the time they might have thought this was a setback this was actually a setup to fulfill  the Messiah prophecy’s from the Old Testament and also the Will of God. (Micah 5:2) “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.”

We know Jesus is the “Good Shepherd” the scripture refers to.(John 10:11) “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” He came not to condemn the world but to save it. (John3:17) As we know from the “Parable of the Lost Sheep” (Luke 15: 1-7) Jesus came to find and save us and then rejoice for our return. “I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.”

We are all lost sheep, vulnerable to the world and the predators that roam among us. Rejoice for our “Good Shepherd” has been born and sent to save us all. As Jesus said not only did he come to save us but he also laid down his life. Rejoice for our King is born Merry Christmas Amen

Countdown to Christmas Day 22

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. Luke 2:13-14


Notice Multitude host from heaven praising the birth of Jesus. Why is this? Because they know and understand the importance of his birth we all need to understand this also. This Christmas don’t just acknowledge the birth of Jesus, Praise him, and honor him, Glorify the name above all names.

(Hebrews 1:6) “And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.”


Why do all the angels of heaven bow down and worship Jesus? Because they know he is the King of King and Lord of Lords. Jesus is on the throne and reigns . Angels not only Glorify his name but also are commanded to protect him.

(Psalms 91:11) “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.”


As we know Jesus was called the “Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6) sent down to heaven no to condemn the world but save the world (John 3:17) What a glorious day the birth of Jesus is; a world full of violence and sin can finally be restored

(John 14:27) “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”


But what did Jesus mean then in (Matthew 10:34) “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.”?  Is Jesus not the Prince of Peace? Then what did he mean by this?

We know Jesus didn’t literally mean he was going to use a sword, as we remember the time Peter struck the Roman Guard in the ear and was corrected by Jesus (Matthew 26:52) “Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.”


So we know Jesus is against violence but the war of good vs evil is real. Jesus saying he brought the sword mean he drew the line between good and evil. Either you’re going to follow Jesus to victory or follow Satan to death.  This battle line was clearly drawin in Genesis prophesying the birth of Jesus

(Genesis 3:15) “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”


So this Christmas let’s join the heavenly host and Glorify the birth of Jesus Christ our King. Keep Christ in Christmas and remember this is a sacred time of year Amen

Countdown to Christmas Day 21

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16


Probably the most famous scripture from the New Testament; however it sums up what Christmas is all about. It’s all about the arrival of Jesus Christ and granting us eternal life.

(Matthew 1:21)” And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.”


Think about all gifts everyone is buying each other this season; none of them can ever compare to the gift our Lord sent us in Jesus. Who can ever compare to our King Jesus?

(2 Corinthians 9:15) “Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.


But do you really believe Jesus is the Messiah? Do you believe he is the Son of God? Do you believe he was born of the Virgin? Believe in your King Jesus Christ and you will have eternal life.

(Romans 10:9) “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”


Is Christ living thru you? Do people see Jesus in you? This Christmas season not only should we keep Jesus first, but we can show people the love of Jesus thru us.

(Romans 8:11) “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”


So everything you do and everything give this Christmas season, give the Glory to God

(1 Corinthians 10:31) “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”.

For everything comes from him and everything should be thanked for. Every light , every present, remember the birth of Jesus. Keep Christ in Christmas and your hearts and souls forver In Jesus name Amen

Countdown to Christmas Day 20

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

Who is this child and son this scripture is referring to? Of course it’s our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
(Matthew 1:23) “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).

Jesus is the King of Kings and when he returns to establish his kingdom all the government will rest on his shoulders
(Matthew 28:18) “Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.”

What does it mean Jesus will be called Wonderful Counselor? The word “Wonderful” in this scripture means “incomprehensible” or “beyond our understanding” Jesus leaves us full of wonder, from the beginning of the Virgin Birth to his Resurrection from the Tomb. The Glory of our Lord is incomprehensible.

We know Jesus was a wise Counselor, with his famous parables and insights to the Word of God (Mark 1:22) “And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.”

Jesus is the “Prince of Peace” but what does that really mean? We know that Jesus came into this world not to condemn us but save us from our sins.
(John 3:17) “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved”.
Jesus showed mercy on all sinners and has giving everyone the opportunity to repent and have everlasting life

Notice also Jesus is to be referred to as “The mighty God” not a might God but the mighty God. If there is any doubt that Jesus is God in the flesh then this scripture should enlighten them.
(John 1:14) “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

This Christmas celebrate Heaven coming down to Earth, God becoming flesh to love, teach, and save us all. Keep Christ in Christmas Amen
