Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time. Revelation 20:1-3

This Chapter will begin what is known as the “Millennial Reign” this means it will be a 1,000 year reign of Christ here on Earth. With Satan bound in the Abyss and Spiritual Babylon destroyed and removed. Peace will reign on Earth! As the King of Kings Jesus Christ reigns from Jerusalem.

The Abyss which was referenced by demons, pleading with Jesus not to throw them in there, appears to be a holding cell for Demons and evil spirits.

They were imploring Him not to command them to go away into the abyss. Luke 8:31

Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years.Revelation 20:4-6

The First Resurrection is happening. All the martyrs and saints who lost their lives for Jesus Christ, are now back and eternal. Notice it says they will not be harmed by the “Second Death” meaning they are now immortal and reigning with Jesus Christ. Don’t you want to be one of them?

Also notice the only ones living with Christ during the Millennial Reign are Christians. Judgement day will not come to after the Millennial Reign.

For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. 1 Corinthians 15:53

When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison, and will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore. Revelation 20:7-8

Notice as soon as Satan is released from the Abyss he deceived the world again. And he doesn’t just deceive a few people, it says he deceived so many people they are like sand on a seashore. Countless of people are easily fooled and deceived by Satan. Don’t be one of them!

And you, son of man, thus says the Lord GOD to the land of Israel, ‘An end! The end is coming on the four corners of the land. Ezekiel 7:2

And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Revelation 20:9-10

Satan and his followers have now waged war against Christ and his Saints. Guess who wins? God devours them with fire from Heaven. Who is foolish enough to believe they can overcome God?

Satans judgement has finally come as hes thrown into the Lake of Fire with the Beast and False prophet. Lake of Fire is most likely Hell (Gehenna) where all who follow Satan and reject Christ will end up!

“Then I kept looking because of the sound of the boastful words which the horn was speaking; I kept looking until the beast was slain, and its body was destroyed and given to the burning fire. Daniel 7:11

Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. Revelation 20:11-12

The Great White Throne of Judgement is about to happen. Now notice there is basically two judgements here. The first one here I believe are the ones already resurrected because their names are in the “Book of Life”, if your name is blotted out you will not inherit the Kingdom of God

Now those who did inherit eternal life are being judged based on their deeds (works) for Gods Kingdom to determine their place

Even they will perish, but You endure; And all of them will wear out like a garment; Like clothing You will change them and they will be changed. Psalm 102:26

And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. Revelation 20:13

This part of the Judgement will be for those whose name was blotted out of the Book of Life. Because they are not covered by the blood of Christ, all their sins will be judged according to Gods Law.

“For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and WILL THEN REPAY EVERY MAN ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS. Matthew 16:27

Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:14-15

Everything has finally been abolished including evil, sin, and death. Satan and everyone who has rejected Christ have received their final destination of the Lake of Fire. This is why its crucial we tell people the gospel of Christ and what Jesus has done for us!

The last enemy that will be abolished is death. 1 Corinthians 15:26

“When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me, John 15:26

Anyone who says the “Trinity” is not in the Bible, apparently never read this scripture.

When the Helper (Holy Spirit) comes, whom I (Jesus) will send to you from the Father (Yahweh)

It doesn’t get any clearer how the Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) are working in unison here. The overall goal is to testify about Jesus Christ! As Jesus says previously “Whoever Hates Jesus Hates God” (John 15:23) You can’t claim to love God and deny the deity of Jesus. It just doesn’t work.

Someone once asked , can you be saved and not believe in the Trinity? The problem with this issue is , what is your view of Jesus then? How can you truly be saved when you deny the deity of Jesus Christ? How can Jesus be sinless and be the atonement for our sin, if hes not God?

Many people and groups believe in Jesus, but most of them don’t know the true Jesus or worship him. That’s the difference. Can Jesus truly be your Lord (Master) if you don’t think hes divine?

and you will testify also, because you have been with Me from the beginning. John 15:27

Just as it’s one of the many jobs of the Holy Spirit to testify about Jesus, its our job also. Are you testifying about your Lord? Are you testifying correctly about Jesus? Rely on the Spirit of Truth (Holy Spirit) to guide you Amen!

“If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. John 15:18

As a Christian you should expect to meet a lot of opposition. If you don’t believe me, why don’t you try preaching the gospel or talk about the Bible in a public location. It wont take very long, for people to oppose you, say they are offended, and try to shut you down.

This is why a lot of “Christian” Churches have really watered down their messages and even changed their doctrine to appease the masses. But Jesus told us to expect to be hated, if your changing your message to not offend people, you are simply worshipping the wrong Jesus

If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you John 15:19

Some Churches don’t offend anyone because they are “of this world’ and not “of Christ”. Now I’m not saying we should go out of our way to offend people, but when your changing the gospel message to make it less offensive , your becoming a heretic

“You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved. Matthew 10:22

Jesus said you will be hated by everyone because of his name, do you ever notice what curse word most people say time after time? People continually use the Lords name in vein without even thinking about it. Why? Because Satans Anti-Christ agenda is of this world.

Don’t become a Christian to please people, become a Christian to please our Lord and God Amen!

For the customs of the peoples are delusion; Because it is wood cut from the forest, The work of the hands of a craftsman with a cutting tool. Jeremiah 10:3

Many people are relying on delusions rather than relying on the truth of Jesus Christ! God is telling Israel “Don’t be like the pagan nations that worship and rely on false idols and gods”! However we as people continue to rely on false idols and gods.

People worship and rely on money, People worship and rely on fame, People worship and rely on drugs and alcohol. But God is telling you , None of these things can save your soul, in fact they will destroy your soul.

Thus you shall say to them, “The gods that did not make the heavens and the earth will perish from the earth and from under the heavens Jeremiah 10:11

Everything on this Earth will perish and pass away except our eternal God. Don’t waste your life pursing meaningless possessions because they are temporary. These possessions will not save your soul, they have no life or purpose in them.

Devote your time and worship on the only one who can save your soul, Jesus Christ!

But the LORD is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth quakes, And the nations cannot endure His indignation. Jeremiah 10:10

Our God is the true, living, and everlasting God, don’t waste your time with worthless delusions and idols. Follow the Truth, The Life, and The Way Amen!
