The book of Ruth was typically read during Pentecost due to Harvest references

  2. Woman are coheirs in the Kingdom with me part of Gods salvation
  3. Ruth protrays the virtuous woman of Proverbs 31
  4. Gods sovereignty and provision are demonstrated
  5. Ruth is in the genealogy of the Messiah (Christ)
  6. Boaz is a shadow of Christ – The Kinsman Redeemer
  7. The throne of David which points to Jesus Christ
