Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended. Matthew 26:33

Jesus predicted that everyone would become offended by Jesus but Peter insisted he would never deny Jesus. And the rest of the disciples said they wouldn’t be ashamed of Jesus either, yet when it came time for his crucifixion they all scattered and abandoned him.

Isn’t this human nature? We say we are going to do one thing but when push comes to shove we retreat to save ourselves. Do you believe if you were in that situation you wouldn’t have denied Christ?

Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. Matthew 26:34

Peter probably didn’t understand Jesus prediction but he already knew he was going to be denied. Just as with Judas, he knew he was going to be betrayed because God can see the beginning and the end. How about you, are you denying Jesus before others?

Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew. Matthew 26:74

Peter was approached three times whether he knew Jesus or not and he yelled “ I don’t know the man!” How could Peter of had such a change of heart? Before he told Jesus he would die for him now hes declaring he doesn’t even know him. Peter became afraid and submitted to peer pressure, do you conform to please others?

And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly. Matthew 26:75

Peter remembered what Jesus predicted and became remorseful. After that event Peter really became defeated and figured God was done with him after what he did. But as we read in The Bible Jesus eventually comes looking for Peter and even appoints him to build his Church upon.

Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests, And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver. Matthew 26:14-15

Judas sold the Son of God for thirty pieces of silver, which is equivalent to about $600 today. Judas sold his soul to the devil, what does it profit a man to gain the world but to lose his soul? Judas was overcome by his lust for money and became a puppet for Satans scheme to kill Jesus

Unfortunately for Satan and the rest of the world, they are going to find out that Jesus has overcome the grave, he is the Resurrection and he will reign forever. Satan and his followers are about to be defeated forever at the cross

The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born. Matthew 26:24

Judas was going to learn the hard way what happens when you betray God and follow Satan. He tried to give the silver back, but the blood was already on his hands. He was tormented by demons continually until he lost his mind and hung himself on a tree.

Think about what Judas gave up, what his life could have been. He was in the inner circle with the King of Kings, he could have had eternal life with peace and prosperity. Instead he followed the deceptions of Satan and ended up broken, defeated, and destroyed. Don’t end up like Judas, don’t betray your Lord and Savior. Satan only wants to destroy you, but Jesus wants to save you and give you eternal life Amen

This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet: “Say to Daughter Zion, ‘See, your king comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey, and on a colt, the foal of a donkey.'” Matthew 21:4-5

Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament prophecy of riding on a Donkey entering the city of Jerusalem, but why a donkey? Why not a might horse? Because Jesus is The Prince of Peace, he came to save the entire world not wage war on the Romans. Many Jews still didn’t understand this and rejected him as there Messiah

A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest heaven!” Matthew 21:8-9

But there are many who recognized who Jesus is, The King of Kings, our Messiah. But why lay down Palm Branches? The Palm Branch in Jewish was a symbol of victory and triumph, and to lay them down in someone’s presence shows great honor. The fact that everyone was laying down Palm branches for Jesus and saying Hosanna reveals that many recognized and accepted Jesus as The Messiah

When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?” The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.” Matthew 21:10-11

But there were some who still didn’t know Jesus, do you know Jesus? Do you know why he came here for you and what he did for you? This month we will be reflecting on the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ God Bless

“Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber. John 10:1

There is only one way to Heaven and that’s through Jesus Christ,The Truth, Life and Way. All other roads lead to hell. The thief, who is Satan, only wants to rob and kill, he will try to lead you astray, to get you off the right path. Follow the Great Shepherd, he will lead you to everlasting pastures

The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. John 10:3
Jesus is calling you by name, he’s reaching out to save you from the thief. You are one of his sheep, he will show you the way to eternal life. If you seek you will find him, knock and the door shall be opened.

But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.” John 10:5

There are many false prophets trying to impersonate The Great Shepherd, but there is only one Gatekeeper, and his name is Jesus Christ. God tells us to Test The Spirits, don’t follow any man claiming to be a prophet, what fruit are they bearing? There is only one, King of Kings.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John  10:10

Satan wants to rob you of a blessed life, he wants to kill your immortal soul. Don’t fall for the deceptions of this world. What does it profit to gain the whole world and lose your soul? Listen to the voice of Jesus, The Great Shepherd, is calling you home today in Jesus Name Amen

We know that God spoke to Moses, but as for this fellow, we don’t even know where he comes from.” The man answered, “Now that is remarkable! You don’t know where he comes from, yet he opened my eyes. John 9:29-30

These men claimed to know God yet couldn’t even recognize his only begotten Son who was prophesied throughout the Old Testament. Why do people really reject Christ? Is it because they truly don’t believe or is it because they don’t want to change their lifestyle?

These men saw Jesus perform miracles right before their eyes and give glory to God, yet they still decided to reject him. Why? Because these men loved religion more than a relationship with God. They loved the power, money and authority they achieved. They believed they were already holy and didn’t need forgiveness, even though they plotted to murder Jesus. As Jesus said we need to Deny Ourselves, Carry our Cross, and Follow Him.

We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will. Nobody has ever heard of opening the eyes of a man born blind. If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.” John 9:31-33

These men admitted right here that God would not allow these miracles to take place unless Jesus was doing the will of God. Yet they still rejected Christ, they were still so in love with themselves that they gave up their souls for the world.

Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said to him, Do you believe on the Son of God? John 9:35

After the Pharisees threw out the healed man, an amazing set of events happened. Jesus found the man and asked him do you believe he is the Son of God. The man acknowledged Jesus is the Son of God and Jesus allowed the man to worship him.

By Jesus allowing the man to worship him, hes showing us he is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Jesus is the Messiah promised throughout the Old Testament, every knee shall bow and tongue confess, Jesus Christ is Lord Amen

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine nature–have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. Romans 1:20

Can someone ignore God and claim they are voided of his judgment because they don’t believe in him? Absolutely Not! Many atheists take the stance I don’t believe in God therefore his laws and judgment don’t apply to them. God makes it clear, there is no excuse for anyone, since we are made in the image of God, and we are his evidence.

Just because you don’t or refuse to believe in something doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist or apply to you. One day you’re going to meet Jesus face to face whether you reject him or not, your destiny is in your hands.

For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Romans 1:21

Many know there is a God but don’t want to believe or accept him because then they will have moral accountability. The reason Atheism is popular is because it justifies anarchy and lawlessness. Evolution and Big Bang Theory are just theories that have never been scientifically proven, so it takes more faith to believe in Nothingness than to believe in God. The reason Atheists choose atheism is because they love their sin more than God

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, Romans 1:22

The world continues to believe they are evolving but yet look at society, its apparent we are degrading. Never before had you heard of kids murdering other kids until they removed The Bibles from our school system. What happened? No moral accountability. Without God to rule your hearts you have become slaves to Satan. There is only one way to salvation and his name is Jesus Christ
