Then the LORD said to me, “The prophets are prophesying falsehood in My name. I have neither sent them nor commanded them nor spoken to them; they are prophesying to you a false vision, divination, futility and the deception of their own minds. Jeremiah 14:14

During Jeremiahs time, Israel was in a dark state.Immorality and Idolatry was prevalent and God was about to send judgement upon Israel. However there were many false prophets telling the Jewish people everything they wanted to hear. There was going to be death and famine, whent he false prophets were telling everyone there is going to be peace and prosperity.

This is the same thing we are seeing today with False Prophets. False Teachers/Pastors telling everyone God wants to make you rich, God is OK with your Sin, these are not messages from God but from man.

Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the prophets who are prophesying in My name, although it was not I who sent them– yet they keep saying, ‘There will be no sword or famine in this land ‘– by sword and famine those prophets shall meet their end! Jeremiah 14:15

Many of these False Prophets are reaping the rewards of their deception right now, living in mansions, flying in private jets, however God says he will deal with these False Prophets and the ending is not going to be pretty for them.

Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. Matthew 7:15

Jesus told us to “Beware of False Prophets”, they will deceive you into believing they are peaceful or holy. However they are wicked and evil, their doctrine is from Satan only to rob, steal, and kill

Christians don’t be deceived, if their teachings don’t align with scripture, they are not from God. Keep alert in Jesus Name Amen!

The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; John 17:22

The prayer that Jesus Christ had spoke over all of us, is that we are united as One through God. However lets be honest, many Christians are completely divided even though we all worship the same Lord. We need to stop the insanity! I recently watched a debate where 4 Christian scholars debated each other over the doctrine of Calvinism. The one Calvinist got up to the microphone and stated his debate partners were not truly brothers because they didn’t believe in Calvinism. Meaning his fellow Christians were not saved because they had different doctrinal beliefs

We need to stop the insanity! As Christians we need to keep Jesus as our High Priest and not man. I don’t care what John Calvin said, or Martin Luther said, or what John Wesley said, all I care is what Jesus Christ said. And Jesus said We as Christians need to be One!

I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. John 17:23

Notice how Jesus is displaying his Triunity with God. We maybe perfected with our Unity in Christ! The problem with us is we try to rely on  ourselves to much. We try to interpret scripture as we see it, and follow  people we believe are divinely inspired. We need to die to ourselves and live for Christ!

Stop the division among brothers and sisters! As Jesus commanded us , Unite through Christ Amen!
