For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

  • A child is born “ Luke 2:10 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”
  • A Son is given “ John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
  • Governments will be on his shoulders “Revelations 19:16 “On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: king of kings and lord of lords.”
  • Wonderful Counselor “ John 14:16 “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Not Of This World

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm.” John 18:36

Jesus said his Kingdom is not of this world, then why we are so desperately holding on to this world? The problem with Christianity today is the “Church” is living for the world instead of living for Christ. They care more about money more than they care about morality. They care more about numbers, than they do about sound doctrine. Jesus is not of this world and neither should we

Therefore Pilate said to Him, “So You are a king?”Jesus answered, “You say correctly that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth.Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.” John 18:37

Jesus came into this world, to save the world from our sins,not to live for this world. Everyone who is of truth, meaning everyone who is Born Again through Christ, listens to Jesus voice. We don’t listen to politicians , musicians, or athletes we only listen to Jesus Christ, our King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2

Stop conforming to this world! Become transformed through Jesus Christ! Gods Kingdom is not of this world, follow the King of Kings to our eternal destiny Amen!

Living Water

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD And whose trust is the LORD. “For he will be like a tree planted by the water, That extends its roots by a stream And will not fear when the heat comes; But its leaves will be green, And it will not be anxious in a year of drought Nor cease to yield fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8

This sounds so simple doesn’t it? Just trust in God, just have faith in Jesus Christ and you will be blessed! However we have trust issues as humans. And the older we get, and the more let down we get by people,we lose that ability to trust. However our Heavenly Father is not human, he wont let you down!

Picture a Tree planted by a stream of water, that Tree will thrive because it has a constant flow of “Living Water” supplying it. That Tree doesn’t have to worry about a drought because the Living Water will continually supply that Tree even when everything else has dried up

He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.'” John 7:38

Jesus is that “Living Water” when you put your trust in Jesus you will be blessed. You will never have to be anxious about a drought because you are filled with the Living Water. You might say “Things don’t look good right now”, Have Faith in that stream of water you are planted by will supply all of your needs!

Blessed is the one who trusts in Jesus Christ! The Living Water that wont allow you to thirst again Amen!
