Raised Up

The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him. Deuteronomy 18:15

Who was Moses foretelling about to the Jewish people? Moses was prophesying about Jesus being the Messiah. Jesus , the son of God, born in Bethlehem to the line of David. Even though the Messiah walked among them, they didn’t recognize him (John 1:10)

As God commanded through Moses, we must listen to Jesus, because he was the chosen Messiah. As Jesus said if you love him, you would keep his commandments (John 14:15) When you reject Jesus, you are rejecting God your Father. You are rejecting the only hope you have for redemption. Because Jesus is I am the way and the truth and the life, No one comes to the Father (God) except through me (Jesus) (John 14:6)

God gave us another clue, the successor to Moses was none other than Joshua which is the English translation of the name Jesus or Yeshua. A clear sign from God that his sons name is Yeshua (Jesus). The prophet Stephen also confirmed this revelation in the book of Acts (Acts 7:37)

Joshua led the Israelites to the Promise Land just as Jesus will lead us to the Kingdom of God, he was raised up King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Every knee will bow as he is worthy to be praised in Jesus Name Amen

Encourage

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

Are you feeling strong and courageous today? Multiple times God kept telling Joshua to be “Strong and Courageous” there are times when we need to encourage one another also (1 Thessalonians 5:11) Notice the word “Encourage” means to give support, confidence, or hope to someone. You are empowering someone, this is exactly what God was doing with Joshua at this time

Joshua was faced with a difficult task at a difficult time, Moses had just passed away and God was commanding him to move the Israelites forward to the Promise Land. Problem was the “Promise Land” was full of giant warriors who were not going to go down without a fight. But God told Joshua “Nobody will be able to stand against you” (Joshua 1:5) also he told him “ He will never leave or forsake him” (Joshua 1:5)

Isn’t that encouraging hearing these words from the Creator of the Heavens and Earth? The same can be applied to us, if you are walking with God, then nobody will be able to stand against you, if God is for us who can be against us (Romans 8:31) Be strong and courageous in Jesus Name Amen

Happy Birthday Tanner!

Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. Psalm 127:3

Today we celebrate Tanners 7th birthday, it’s been amazing to watch him grow and develop into who he is today. If I think back to who I was 7 years ago, he has changed me for the good also. Children are a gift from God, and through them we can learn a lot about life. Jesus taught us until we become like a child we will never see the Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 18:3)

Tanner sees the world through different eyes, he is full of love and innocence. This is exactly what God wants us to be also. The other day Tanner wrote a message on a sticky note and handed it to me. It simply says “ I Love You” , I now keep that message in my wallet, such a simple message but powerful knowing that the message is pure.

At the young age of 7, Tanner has touched many lives already through his love and compassion. When a classmate tripped and fell at gym class, he stopped and gave her a hug. When a bus driver was having a bad day, he drew them a picture to cheer them up. And these are just moments I know about, God only knows how much love Tanner has spread already

It’s a privilege and honor to be Tanners Father, I thank God every day for our family that he has given us. Even though life isn’t perfect, I wouldn’t change a thing. I pray that God continues to allow his light to shine through Tanner in Jesus Name Amen

Happy Veterans Day!

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45

Why should we celebrate Veterans Day? Because they are the ones who served, they sacrificed a lot to put their life’s on the line for our freedom. Some even paid the ultimate price of laying down there life, but Jesus said there is no greater love than do lay down your life ( John 15:13) therefore the sacrifice that Veterans have paid for you and me should be honored.

I’m proud of My Father, who served in Vietnam. Because of him and many other heroic Veterans, we can be here today. Here today practicing our religious freedom, to wish our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Who even though he is the King of Kings, also came to serve and laid down his life for us so we can be set free from death.

So today take the time to Thank a Veteran, try to remember the sacrifice they have made, even if you don’t understand it. And remember to Thank God for allowing to be part of this great nation and for sending his only Begotten Son to give us true spiritual freedom in Jesus Name Amen

Heavenly Father,

I pray for our Veterans of the past and present, I pray that you give them the peace, hope, and love of your Holy Spirit.  If God is for us who can stand against us in Jesus Name Amen

Find Jesus

I walk in the way of righteousness, along the paths of justice, bestowing a rich inheritance on those who love me and making their treasuries full. Proverbs 8:20-21

Jesus is the Truth, Life, and The Way nobody comes to The Father without going through him. He came to make the crooked paths straight, to give hope to the hopeless. If you love him you will keep his commandments and inherit eternal life.

The LORD brought me forth as the first of his works, before his deeds of old; I was formed long ages ago, at the very beginning, when the world came to be. Proverbs 8:22-23

Jesus is the image of the invisible God , the firstborn over all creation. In the beginning was The Word, who is the beginning and the end

Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway. Proverbs 8:34

Jesus opened the eyes of the blind, he is the gatekeeper. Knock on the door and he will answer. But narrow is the way to righteousness. For many are called but few are chosen

For those who find me find life and receive favor from the LORD. Proverbs 8:35

Anyone who calls upon the name of Jesus, shall be saved. He is the living water, the bread of life. Follow him and thirst and hunger no more. For Jesus is Gods son, in whom he is well pleased. Believe in him and receive favor in Jesus Name Amen

Jesus is The Truth

Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free John 8:32

What is Truth? Jesus is The Truth, The Life, and The Way, in a world of deception he is the only way to finding truth. Satan is a liar, there is no truth in him, (John 8:44) He has deceived the whole world. Don’t be misled by his lies and deception, since the beginning of creation, his plan is to destroy Gods children.

But the truth shall set you free, The name Jesus (Yeshua) means Gods salvation, for God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son to save the world (John 3:16) Put you trust into Jesus, and he shall set you free. Free from the bondages of Satan, that hold the whole world captive by lies and deception

Ask and it will be give to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened (Matthew 7:7) don’t stop seeking God. If you keep searching for the truth, it will be revealed to you. The door will be opened to you, for everyone who calls upon the name of The Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13)

God is a spirit and we must worship him in spirt and truth (John 4:24) Are you worshipping our Heavenly Father in Truth? How do we know truth? Only through his beloved Son in Jesus Name Amen

Hope In Jesus

But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

Can we truly live with no hope? If you don’t have hope in Jesus, where does your hope come from? Hope is the anchor for the soul (Hebrews 6:19) When things start looking dark we can renew our strength in the hope and promises of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the world (John 16:33)

Come to me all you who are weary and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28) These are the word of Jesus Christ, who is our Sabbath, he gives us peace and rest during the storms of life. Are you weary and burdened? Come to Jesus and let him refresh your soul with his grace, mercy and truth

Not only will you be renewed but you will soar on wings like eagles, Why? Because nothing can separate us from the love of God ( Romans 8:38) On the cross Jesus has defeated every force of evil, IT IS FINISHED Because of this victory in Christ, we will walk and not be faint! We are victorious in Jesus Name Amen

Lack Nothing

Then Jesus asked them, “When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?” “Nothing,” they answered. Luke 22:35

What do you lack today? Do you always feel you need something more? Just as Jesus sent out his disciples into the world with no money or even sandals, they lacked nothing. Why? Because they understood the principle that God will provide all of our needs (Philippians 4:19)

We’ve become a spoiled generation that never has enough, we need more clothes, bigger houses, and shinier cars, but we don’t understand is we are becoming slaves to our devices. Every material item you want comes with a big price tag that will put you in debt even more. True freedom only comes when you learn to let go over your reliance on worldly objects and trust in God

Just as Jesus taught us God already knows your needs (Matthew 6:8), he knows you need clothing, food, and housing. If you draw near God he will draw near you (James 4:8) Learn to rely on God for all your needs, just as he takes care of the birds in the air, he will take care of you (Matthew 6:26)

The Lord is our Shepherd and we lack nothing (Psalm 23 ) Put you trust in God, the one who breathed life into your body (Genesis 2:7) God will provide all your needs in Jesus Name Amen

Trust in Jesus

You put your faith and hope in a mortal man or woman

Which one is more corrupted? Only God knows

But you still worship them even though their sins have been revealed

You wonder why the system fails, when the system is lead by failures

There is only one, who we can confidently put our faith and hopes in

He lived without sin, and yet died for the ransoms of our sins

All the kingdoms and nations rest on his shoulders, the King of Kings

Who do you put your trust in? I trust in The Lord Jesus Christ

Perpetual Messiah

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8

Do you believe The Bible is outdated? Do you think God could never understand us today? Well we must remember that God does not change (Malachi 3:6) Our Lord Jesus is the same Messiah who laid down his life for us on the cross.(John 15:13) The same Jesus who now sits on the throne with all power and authority that has been given to him by God Almighty.(Matthew 28:18)

The same sin that separated Adam and Eve from God in the beginning (Genesis 3) is the same sin that separates us today. The wages for our sins is still the same death (Romans 6:23) but Christ has paid the ransom for our sins.(Matthew 20:28) This grace from God will not change either. Once you’re covered by the blood of the Lamb of God,(John 1:29) you are redeemed forever

The same Jesus, who is King of Kings,(Revelation 19:16) will return again to reestablish Gods Kingdom forever. This outcome will not change. Satan will be defeated and thrown in the Lake of Fire,(Revelation 20:10) because he was defeated at the cross. All sin and death has been overcome by our Lord and Savior Jesus, (John 16:33)this will not change. Jesus will not change, he will reign victorious forever Amen
