Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. Psalm 127:3

Today we celebrate Tanners 7^th birthday, it’s been amazing to watch him grow and develop into who he is today. If I think back to who I was 7 years ago, he has changed me for the good also. Children are a gift from God, and through them we can learn a lot about life. Jesus taught us until we become like a child we will never see the Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 18:3)

Tanner sees the world through different eyes, he is full of love and innocence. This is exactly what God wants us to be also. The other day Tanner wrote a message on a sticky note and handed it to me. It simply says “ I Love You” , I now keep that message in my wallet, such a simple message but powerful knowing that the message is pure.

At the young age of 7, Tanner has touched many lives already through his love and compassion. When a classmate tripped and fell at gym class, he stopped and gave her a hug. When a bus driver was having a bad day, he drew them a picture to cheer them up. And these are just moments I know about, God only knows how much love Tanner has spread already

It’s a privilege and honor to be Tanners Father, I thank God every day for our family that he has given us. Even though life isn’t perfect, I wouldn’t change a thing. I pray that God continues to allow his light to shine through Tanner in Jesus Name Amen
