Raised Up

The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him. Deuteronomy 18:15

Who was Moses foretelling about to the Jewish people? Moses was prophesying about Jesus being the Messiah. Jesus , the son of God, born in Bethlehem to the line of David. Even though the Messiah walked among them, they didn’t recognize him (John 1:10)

As God commanded through Moses, we must listen to Jesus, because he was the chosen Messiah. As Jesus said if you love him, you would keep his commandments (John 14:15) When you reject Jesus, you are rejecting God your Father. You are rejecting the only hope you have for redemption. Because Jesus is I am the way and the truth and the life, No one comes to the Father (God) except through me (Jesus) (John 14:6)

God gave us another clue, the successor to Moses was none other than Joshua which is the English translation of the name Jesus or Yeshua. A clear sign from God that his sons name is Yeshua (Jesus). The prophet Stephen also confirmed this revelation in the book of Acts (Acts 7:37)

Joshua led the Israelites to the Promise Land just as Jesus will lead us to the Kingdom of God, he was raised up King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Every knee will bow as he is worthy to be praised in Jesus Name Amen

Like A Dove

And the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.” Luke 3:22

Why did the Holy Spirit descend in the form of a dove? Was this a prophetic sign from God?

In Hebrew the meaning of the name Jonah is Dove. There was a reason the Spirit came down in the form of a dove, it was a prophetic sign from our Heavenly Father about the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth Matthew 12:40

Jesus prophesied about this later also in his ministry. He mentions Jonah who spent 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of the whale. Jesus was prophesying about his death and spending 3 days and 3 nights in the heart of The Earth. Just as Jonah rised out of the whale after 3 days and saved Nineveh, Jesus rose from the grave and conquered death and sin.

Just as the dove left Noahs Ark and returned to send the message that the world has been saved (Genesis 8:11) Jesus has saved the world from our sins, look for the signs from our Heavenly Father in Jesus Name Amen

Gods Calling You!

Moses said to the LORD, “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.” Exodus 4:10

God had called Moses to be his voice, to be his prophet for his people, to save them from slavery. But Moses originally refused to obey, instead of accepting Gods calling, he made up excuses why he wouldn’t be able to achieve his mission.

What about you? When God is calling you, do you accept your assignment or make up excuses why it can’t be done?

The LORD said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the LORD? Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.” Exodus 4:11-12

Gods response to Moses is truthful, who does Moses think he is complaining about his stuttering? God made him that way, God has equipped us to fulfill our destiny, he knows the beginning from the end, put your trust in him and go!

But Moses said, “Pardon your servant, Lord. Please send someone else.” Exodus 4:13

Again Moses is negotiating with God, telling him to send someone else. But God has already chosen Moses, he was born with this destiny. Just like you, your born for a destiny, question is are you answering Gods calling or still negotiating with God?

Then the LORD’s anger burned against Moses and he said, “What about your brother, Aaron the Levite? I know he can speak well. He is already on his way to meet you, and he will be glad to see you. Exodus 4:14

Gods plan is being revealed, Moses brother Aaron, who eventually becomes the first high priest for the nation of Israel, and is passed down his entire blood line. God has a solution already for your problem, we must trust in his plan and his calling for our lives in Jesus Name Amen

Works of God

And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? John 9:2

Many times in life when something goes wrong or were faced with a struggle, we ask God why? Why would you allow this to happen? Why are you making me go through this? This same scenario was brought up by the disciples.

A man born blind from birth, so the disciples questioned Jesus, why? Why would God allow this to happen? Did the man bring it upon himself?

Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. John 9:3

Jesus clearly answered them that the man’s blindness was not his fault. Nor was it his parents or anyone else’s fault. God allowed the man to be blind so the glory of God can be revealed through him. So what does that mean?

First we must remember we live in a broken world, due to our sin we have subjected ourselves to disease and death. Second our purpose of life is to continue to learn and grow in preparation of Gods Kingdom. Since we can’t live in a perfect world, due to our choice of sin, we must learn from our struggles and turn to God.

What struggle or burdens have you been dealing with? Do you blame yourself or God? We need to learn that Satan wants to destroy us, but through Christ we can overcome everything. We can overcome any disease, struggle, addiction, illness, because Jesus has already overcome sin and death.  So cast your troubles to Jesus and allow Gods glory to be displayed through you in Jesus Name AMen

Foolish Prophets

Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! Ezekiel 13:3

Just as there were many false prophets back in Biblical days there are still many false or foolish prophets today. In fact if you look online theres an overabundance of people claiming there prophets from God with divine insights and special blessings

Beware of these false prophets, check the fruit they are bearing. Is there lifestyle that of living for the world or preparing for Gods Kingdom?

They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word. Ezekiel 13:6

False prophets proclaiming God is sending them great wealth and favor, God did not send these prophets or blessings. These are lies straight from Satan. Our riches are in Heaven and not of this world.

Consider Matthew 19:21 Jesus told the rich man if you want to see the kingdom of Heaven sell all your possessions and give it to the poor.

Then ask yourself about these false prophets if Jesus is teaching this why would God want to make you rich? Because it’s a lie, its false doctrine from a foolish prophet.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord GOD. Ezekiel 13:8

When you speak these lies, twist Gods word for your favor, God is then against you. Why? Because you are holding hands with Satan. Be careful who you are following and listening to, follow Jesus he is the truth, life, and the way

Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:  Ezekiel 13:10

These foolish prophets mislead people into believing that Christianity is a “walk in the park” that’s not what Jesus said we will be persecuted in his name. Those who don’t build there house on the rock on in for a rude awakening with the storms hit.

But when you build upon the truth, the rock, the prince of peace, you will be ready to battle those storms and overcome the world because Christ has already overcame it in Jesus Name Amen
