Our Savior

She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21

God has a plan for the world and his name is Jesus. Since the beginning we have all fallen short to the glory of God, we have all become sinners. And the wages of sin equal death, however because God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten Son to save the world from our sins.

His Hebrew name is Yeshua which means “Salvation of Yahweh) which means God saved us through his son Jesus, who became the sacrificial Lamb to take the punishment for your sins. Through the birth of Jesus Christ, we can have hope and victory, because he has overcome the world

As we celebrate this Christmas Season let’s focus on the reason.  Its not about the presents and cookies, it about the lowly baby in the manger who is the King of the World, our Lord and Savior who is the manifestation of God in the flesh. Holy is his name, he is worthy to be  praised in Jesus Name Amen

Give Thanks

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus 1 Thessalonians 5:18

During Thanksgiving we ponder what we are thankful for, we recognize the blessings that God has given us. But the truth is we should treat every like Thanksgiving. Everyday is a gift from God, nothing should be taken for granted. If you wake up in the morning with breathe in your body, you should be thankful. However we have a tendency to become complacent. We take for granted everything that God has already given us and were not thankful anymore. We need to live each day like it’s a new day with a new beginning. Thank God everyday for your spouse, your children, your family, your job, your home. Don’t take a single blessing for granted.

Remember the victories that God has already won for you in the past, celebrate these and give glory to God. Don’t forget what your Father has already provided for you, because it pleases him to give you more. Most importantly we need to remember that there are many who suffer, your blessings may seem small to you but to others they would give anything to be in your place. Give Thank to God in all your circumstances , good or bad, because we are blessed and victorious in Jesus Name Amen

Happy Thanksgiving

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. Psalm 100:4

Will you enter today with “Thanksgiving” towards God? While we reflect on the things we are thankful for today, let’s remember to Thank our Heavenly Father! This is the day The Lord has made, let us be glad and rejoice in it (Psalm 118:24)

We have so much to be Thankful for a lot of times we overlook the small victories in our life. Let’s first remember that we are here for a purpose, God has a plan for our lives. He made us in his image, breathed life into our bodies. Be Thankful God has put you here to fulfill your destiny!

Thank God for our Lord Jesus Christ, who laid down his life for us all to save us from our sins. We can be Thankful and hopeful today because we have victory through Christ! Our Father showed his grace and mercy towards us because he loves us like a Father

Lets be Thankful for everything God provides for us including our spouses, our children, our family, our home. Everything we have we give Thanks to The Lord, so today Enter his Gates with Thanksgiving because our God is an awesome God in Jesus Name Amen

Lion of Judah

Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.” Revelation 5:5

We have Victory through Jesus Christ, he is The Lion of Judah and the Root of David that has been prophesied throughout the Bible. He is the only one worthy to open the Book of Life because we have been redeemed by his blood.

The Lion of Judah was prophesied since Genesis

You are a lion’s cub, Judah; you return from the prey, my son. Like a lion he crouches and lies down, like a lioness–who dares to rouse him? (Genesis 49:9)

The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he to whom it belongs shall come and the obedience of the nations shall be his. (Genesis 49:10)

Who dares to wage war with the Lion of Judah? We know the Dragon (Satan) and his followers are foolish enough to and will be destroyed into the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:10) The King of Kings will not depart from Judah, he will rule over all the nations and governments (Isaiah 9:7)

So do not weep Children of God, rejoice for your King , The Lion of Judah is victorious , fighting our battles and will sit on the throne forever in Jesus Name Amen

Raised Up

The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him. Deuteronomy 18:15

Who was Moses foretelling about to the Jewish people? Moses was prophesying about Jesus being the Messiah. Jesus , the son of God, born in Bethlehem to the line of David. Even though the Messiah walked among them, they didn’t recognize him (John 1:10)

As God commanded through Moses, we must listen to Jesus, because he was the chosen Messiah. As Jesus said if you love him, you would keep his commandments (John 14:15) When you reject Jesus, you are rejecting God your Father. You are rejecting the only hope you have for redemption. Because Jesus is I am the way and the truth and the life, No one comes to the Father (God) except through me (Jesus) (John 14:6)

God gave us another clue, the successor to Moses was none other than Joshua which is the English translation of the name Jesus or Yeshua. A clear sign from God that his sons name is Yeshua (Jesus). The prophet Stephen also confirmed this revelation in the book of Acts (Acts 7:37)

Joshua led the Israelites to the Promise Land just as Jesus will lead us to the Kingdom of God, he was raised up King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Every knee will bow as he is worthy to be praised in Jesus Name Amen

Lamb of God

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! John 1:29

Who is The Lamb of God? John the Baptist clearly identifies him as Jesus Christ. So what does it mean for Jesus to be the Lamb of God? And how is John able to identify him?  John the Baptist was sent as a messenger from God to pave the way for the Messiah (Isaiah 40:3) The voice on one calling in the wilderness to prepare the way for The Lord. John was a witness and confirmation that Jesus is The Messiah, The Lamb of God to take away the sins of the world

The Passover Lamb was instructed by God to be sacrificed to save the Israelites from death. The blood of the Lamb was a sign and seal they were protected by God (Exodus 12) The requirements of the Lamb of God was to be without defect and to not have a single bone broken in there body (Leviticus 22)

Jesus is The Lamb of God, who was without sin yet paid for the sins of the world. (1 Corinthians 5:7) By the power of his holy blood, we are redeemed and protected. This is why Jesus allowed himself to be crucified to be our sacrificial Lamb to save us from our sins.

Remember what Jesus has done for you, he laid down his life for you as the Lamb of God. There is no power greater than his blood, so rejoice for you have been redeemed by his blood in Jesus Name Amen

In Need?

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

Do you worry about your needs being met? When you have faith in God you can have peace and confidence knowing that your Heavenly Father will meet all your needs regardless of your circumstances. God knows your needs before you even ask for them (Matthew 6:8)

No matter what your financial situation is , we are rich in Christ. By the blood of Jesus, we have been given a priceless gift of grace and freedom. There is no greater gift God could have given us than his only begotten Son. You have inherited something money can’t buy, and that’s peace, joy, love, grace, and victory through Jesus Christ

Do you believe God can and will supply all your needs? Remember with faith the size of a mustard seed we can move mountains (Matthew 17:20) however without faith its impossible to see the miracles of God or to please him (Hebrews 11:6)

Learn to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5) because its pleases our Heavenly Father to supply your needs , to give you the Kingdom of God (Luke 12:32) in Jesus Name Amen

Encourage

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

Are you feeling strong and courageous today? Multiple times God kept telling Joshua to be “Strong and Courageous” there are times when we need to encourage one another also (1 Thessalonians 5:11) Notice the word “Encourage” means to give support, confidence, or hope to someone. You are empowering someone, this is exactly what God was doing with Joshua at this time

Joshua was faced with a difficult task at a difficult time, Moses had just passed away and God was commanding him to move the Israelites forward to the Promise Land. Problem was the “Promise Land” was full of giant warriors who were not going to go down without a fight. But God told Joshua “Nobody will be able to stand against you” (Joshua 1:5) also he told him “ He will never leave or forsake him” (Joshua 1:5)

Isn’t that encouraging hearing these words from the Creator of the Heavens and Earth? The same can be applied to us, if you are walking with God, then nobody will be able to stand against you, if God is for us who can be against us (Romans 8:31) Be strong and courageous in Jesus Name Amen

The Word of God

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. Matthew 24:35

Many cast doubt or validity of The Bible, the Word of God. But as Jesus promised his Word will never pass away. That means we can have confidence that the Bible we are reading today is still the same Word of God spoken back then.

But many will say why there are so many translations of The Bible? You first need to understand that many Hebrew and Greek words could have multiple English translations.

For example the greek word agape means love (NIV) and charity (KJV) therefor both translations are correct even though there different English words.

God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? Numbers 23:19

It’s always important to remember God is the potter and we are the clay, just because we don’t understand doesn’t mean we shouldn’t obey.

We know the Bible is truth because God doesn’t lie. As Jesus said we shall know the truth and the truth shall set us free. When we listen to Gods word it breaks the chains of sin and corruption of this world.

The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.” Isaiah 40:8

Just as Jesus said, God said thru Isaiah. This world and everything in it will eventually pass away but Gods Word and his Kingdom are eternal.

Many today will say the Bible is outdated and not relevant to today’s world. But know God has seen everything under the Sun, there is nothing new or a surprise to him. Gods word is still the same today, yesterday, and forever. It does not change to conform to the sins of the world

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17

The Word of God is a gift to guide us to eternal life. Our Lord Jesus was a gift who is the living Word and gave us grace. God does not change, the sins that were an abomination from The Torah are still an abomination today.

In an ever-changing world, God and his Word are a foundation we can build and trust on. Follow Jesus because he is the truth, life, and the way in Jesus Name Amen

The Word Became Flesh

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14

In John 1:1 it tells us “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” So if the Word was God and the Word became Flesh (Jesus) its clearly identified Jesus was God in the flesh.

Jesus performed many miracles that displayed Gods Glory, he is the truth and spoke the truth while he was here, but many including today still refuse to listen.

John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. John 1:15

John The Baptist, who was also conceived by the Holy Spirit, as his mother was barren and elderly. He was the prophet and messenger for Jesus.  When he baptized Jesus he saw the Holy Spirit upon him and God’s voice declared that Jesus is The Messiah.

Just like with Jesus, nobody wants to hear the truth, so John was beheaded by the authorities.

And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. John 1:16-17

God delivered The law to Moses but because we are all sinners we needed the grace of Jesus to truly redeem us.  Does this mean the law doesn’t exist anymore, absolutely not.

When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior the Law of God should be in your heart, you can’t live in The Spirit if you don’t walk in The Spirit.

No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. John 1:18

Interesting in (Exodus 33:11) it tells us Moses spoke to God face to face, yet were told No Man has ever seen God. It’s obvious the one who Moses was speaking to was Jesus Christ. It’s no coicindence later in the Book of Matthew (Matthew 17) Jesus takes his disciples up on the mountain to meet Moses and Elijah.

God is not some old fairy tale , he was here. And he’s coming back again, Are You Ready? Does Jesus know you? Do you know Jesus? If not read the scripture below and believe

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
