What Is A Mother?

What is a Mother? A mother to me is core and center of a family. Without the mother there would be no life, as only a womb and the love of a special woman can bring life into existence. As a Father I cant provide all the essential things that a Mother could. I cant provide the loving compassion of a Mother, I can try but always come up short. I cant provide the gentle soothing voice of a mother, I can try but will never sound right. I cant be the gentle place to fall , I can always try but probably the fall would still be rocky

The truth is we cant duplicate or replicate Mothers. Mothers are a special gift from God that provide every essential for human life. And yes woman can accomplish amazing feats just as men, but woman can never be replaced as a Mother because they have been chosen by God for this special purpose

So today I wanted to honor our Mothers and let them know that just as God highly chose Mary to be the mother of Jesus, he highly chose all of you to be the mother of your children. This is not a calling that should be taken and seen lightly. It’s a calling that only special woman can fulfill. And I just wanted to say that I respect and love all of you from the bottom of my heart!

Moms are essential

Strength and honor are her clothing; She shall rejoice in time to come. Proverbs 31:25

In todays world,” essential worker” is a new buzzword. It only took a Pandemic for society to realize that the professional athlete, the Hollywood movie star, and the rock star are not essential to society. We have realized that people such as Doctors, Nurses, Truck Drivers, Grocery Store employees, ect are the real heroes that make this world go around

But this weekend we celebrate one of the most essential people on the planet, our Mothers. In a day and age when we have parades for “essential workers” and pay tribute to them, why not do the same for the Mothers? Without the Mother, there would be no essential workers in existence; therefor the Mother is actually the most essential of the essential

Being a Mom, has been a thank-less job for generations. People have taken the Mother for granted and highly demanded forever. And through it all, the Mothers have always prevailed and succeeded, we are all here aren’t we?

So this weekend , let’s take a moment to honor and thank our Mothers  for their dedication, sacrifice, service, and love they have demonstrated to us since the beginning of humanity. I personally would like to honor my wife (Heidi), the mother of my children, my Mother (Patricia) and my Mother in Law (Debra), I love you all and want to give you honor today! God bless all the Mothers!

This Sunday we celebrate “Mothers Day”, a day when we not only recognize the woman that we love in our life, but celebrate their commitment and sacrifice to their families. Mothers pay the ultimate sacrifice to their bodies and continue to sacrifice throughout their entire lives to ensure the well being and success of their children.

Where would the world be without mothers? The human race would cease to exist without Mothers. Households would be in total disarray without Mothers. Children would be lost without their Mothers. Husbands would be weakened without their wives, the mother. The Mother is the heart of the home, everything stays together and falls apart, depending on The Mother

My wife Heidi, is the greatest Mother that God could have given us. Our Children do rise up and can’t wait to hug their Mother, because they are blessed to have her. Our household is complete because of Heidi, I am a better Father, Husband, and man because of Heidi, we are blessed by God to have her as “The Mother to our family”

Recently since Heidi had her surgery and has been out of commission, her missing presence is greatly felt throughout our entire family. I am not as good of a father without her and our family is not a strong without her. I pray that everyone recognizes and honors Mothers today for all they have sacrificed and given to us in Jesus Name Amen!

What does Mother’s Day mean to you? This weekend we celebrate Mother’s Day, where would the world be without Mothers? Let’s be honest human race would cease to exist without Mothers, that’s why it’s important to honor them. They are the center of every family.

I would to start by honoring my wife, Heidi, who is the greatest mother to our children. We are so blessed to have her as the center of our family. Her love, compassion, and commitment has a true impact on all of us. I will admit, our two boys are “Mamma’s boys” and for good reason. Heidi dedicates and sacrifices everything she has to ensure our family is “running smooth”. I can’t say enough how much we love and appreciate her.

I would also like to honor my mother, Patricia, the woman who gave me life. Growing up I know I wasn’t always the most easy and cooperative child, however even during my rebellious days, my mother always accepted me. My mother was one of the only people who understood and appreciated my artistic side with my poetry and writings. My mother was always very loving and understanding, and I appreciate that, especially being a parent of my own today.

Another great mother, is my mother-in-law, Debra. She watches our children and means the world to them. She is a big part of our family, I know she had a great impact on Heidi becoming the great mother that she is today!

So this Mother Day weekend, honor your mother, as it tells us in the Bible. Let your mother know you love them and appreciate them. God bless all your mothers out there and I pray for your peace , love, and joy today in Jesus Name Amen
