it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.

Believe and See
Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” John 11:40
When Jesus told others, including Martha and his disciples, that he was going to raise Lazarus from the dead, no one believed or even understood him. By their typical human limited thinking , they couldn’t even begin to imagine that Jesus could bring Lazarus back to life
But this is what Jesus was trying to tell them and tell us. If you truly believe you will see the Glory of God. Jesus did the imaginable, brought back Lazarus to life after being dead for 4 days. Now you might say this is just a story made up by his disciples. But this resurrection was witnessed by many people, including the Jewish religious leaders. They were so threatened by this miracle that they plotted to kill Lazarus again to eliminate the evidence.
We as Christians need to stop reading the gospels as folk tales and see them for what they are. The Gospels are historical documented evidence from multiple eye witnesses. You should put your trust in The Gospels and the entire Bible, because its witnessed testimony of your God and Savior.
No other religion has real documented eye witnessed miracles like Christianity. When people try to group Jesus with other prophets, they are clearly showing their lack of knowledge and background with World Religions and The Bible. Jesus is asking you to put your faith and trust in him and you will see the Glory of God in Jesus Name Amen!
Woe To Them
Shepherds for the People
Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them–not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; 1 Peter 5:2
We know Jesus is the “Good Shepherd” who watches over us and we answer his calling. But have you considered that you are a shepherd also? The Bible teaches us we are to be “shepherds” to the people. So what does that really mean?
A few months ago the city of Houston had a historic flood and many of its Citizens were in desperate need for food and shelter. A famous millionaire TV pastor who lives in a mansion and owns a private jet, originally refused to open his doors of his Mega Church that fits 20,000 people. Is this a good example of being a Shepherd to the people?
Of course not, I’m just using him as an example of what Christianity appears to be in todays world, when in fact it should be totally the opposite. As the scripture says you should want to watch and care for the people, not for your personal gain, but because you want to serve God
Jesus taught us false prophets will be revealed by the fruit they bear (Matthew 7:16) One day those people will have to stand before Jesus and give an account for there actions.
Let’s serve The Lord for the right reasons, not for money or fame, but because we are willing and eager to serve God. Be a Shepherd in Jesus Name Amen
Happy Birthday Tanner
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
Regardless of what obstacles life puts in front of us, Gods plan is bigger! When Tanner was around 3 years old he was officially diagnosed with Autism. At that point we didn’t know what the future held for Tanner. He still didn’t speak a word and struggled to adapt socially.
But God has big plans for Tanner, and regardless of what the world was going to label him, he was going to overcome and succeed. It’s been an amazing journey these past 8 years, Tanner ended up teaching me a lot about life and purpose. I truly believe he was one of the main reasons that brought me close to God.
Today Tanner is thriving in school, in his music, and on the swim team. Tanner is the kindest soul you will ever meet, a very soulful person who has compassion for everyone. His smile is contagious and lights up the world. I feel honored and privileged to be his Father and I thank God every day. So Happy 8th Birthday Tanner , to my beloved Son, may God continue to guide your path Amen!
Trust in God
Who Killed Jesus?
No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.” John 10:18
Who killed Jesus? One thing that is often debated is who actually responsible for the killing of Jesus? Was it the Romans or the Jews? The actual answer is it was us, including yourself that was responsible for the death of Jesus. Probably not the answer your expecting, but is actually true.
As Jesus said, he willingly laid down his life as the ransom for our sins. Yes the Romans tortured and crucified him, but they were actually fulfilling Gods redemption plan without even knowing it. Jesus was sent as the Lamb of God, to take the sins of this world, he willingly became the final atonement for our sins.
The Bible tells us we are all guilty of sin (Romans 3:23), therefore your sin is the reason Jesus needed to lay down his life. People, who try to distance themselves from the crucifixion at Calvary, are just deceiving themselves. Even if you consider yourself an Atheist and claim to have nothing to do with God, the blood is on your hands. Jesus took the wages for your sins also,
If you haven’t excepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you need to get down on your knees right now and repent. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior today, he took the wages of your sins, so that you can have eternal life. Without accepting Christ’s atonement, you are condemned
We are all guilty but by the blood of Jesus Christ we can be made free Amen!
Happy Veterans Day
Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. John 15:13
While the millionaire professional football players are protesting and disrespecting our veterans, we are continually honoring them. Veterans Day is an important day to remember and pay respect to our heroes past and present. Because of the Veterans we are allowed to express our opinions and even openly practice our faith in Jesus Christ
One Veteran I will always remember is my father, who did three tours in Vietnam for our freedom. Because of him and other heroes like him, we are able to grow up and live in the greatest country in the world. Christians should be very grateful for our Veterans, without them we might not even have Churches, like other countries where Christians are being persecuted and even killed.
When I think of the word Veteran, I think of the word “sacrifice”. Because every Veteran was willing to lay down there lives for the freedom of our country. As American citizens we should not forget the sacrifice they paid to allow us to have a better life. Freedom is never free, it comes with a price of sacrifice.
The greatest sacrifice is what our Lord Jesus Christ has done for us on the cross. Even though we were sinners and didn’t deserve it, he laid down his life for us, so that we can be redeemed. Remember what our Lord Jesus did for us, and remember our Veterans in Jesus Name Amen
Not Ashamed
However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. 1 Peter 4:16
Are you ashamed to be a Christian? In todays world Christians are continually being mocked and persecuted by society and the media. Just as we saw in Texas, where a self proclaimed “Atheist” took the innocent lives of 26 fellow Christians. They were murdered for only one reason, because they are Christians.
Around the world we see Christians being killed and persecuted on a daily basis. Radical Islam are beheading Christians who refuse to deny there Lord and Savior. But as God says, don’t be ashamed to be a Christian, even when we suffer for the name of Jesus Christ
Jesus taught us “The world will hate you because of him” (Matthew 10:22) Why is that? Because the world is run by Satan, and he knows he was defeated at the cross. Satan and death were crushed at the cross. Everything was put under the feet of Christ, he reigns as King of Kings!
So rejoice and be glad to be called a disciple of Christ, the world might hate or persecute you, but the final victory is ours. By the blood of The Lamb, we have overcome the world. Its important to encourage and pray for your fellow Christians as we press on to the prize in Jesus Name Amen!
