Gods Glory Greater than Our Suffering

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. Romans 8:18-19

The world tell us to “Live like theres no tomorrow” but we know as Children of God there is a tomorrow and eternity.  Until God restores his kingdom there will be pain and suffering, but knowing this we must press on and endure the trials till that glorious day

For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.  Romans 20-21

We are all cursed by the Sin of Adam, death was not God’s will but it was Mans will passed down by his ancestors. But those who declare themselves Children of God have been redeemed thru our Lord Jesus Christ.

We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. Romans 22-23

Children of God are eagerly awaiting the return of Jesus to restore Gods Kingdom and eliminate evil and suffering.  As compared to a women in labor, the present time is long and painful, but the reward will be great in the end.

For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. Romans 24-25

All our hope is in Jesus Christ, for without him there is no life or hope. Patience is a virtue, for Gods timing is not our timing. We must wait for him, for our ways are not his ways.

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.  And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.  Romans 26-27

This is why God has giving us the gift of the Holy Spirit, as a teacher and guide. To give us the strength and wisdom to endure hardship. Pray to God to give you the Holy Spirit to endure you through these times of labor in Jesus Name Amen

God Lives In You

You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. Romans 8:9

If you truly are a Christian then the Holy Spirit lives in you. The same Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead, is the same powerful Spirit that lives in you. God said he won’t leave us or forsake and he doesn’t thru the power of the Holy Spirit.

But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness.  Romans 8:10

Make no mistake about it, you are still mortal due to the sin of Adam. The time will come when your body will fail you, however because of the redemption of Jesus, you will be risen from the dead just as Jesus was.

And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you. Romans 8:11

The Spirit of God is living in you and will give you eternal life thru the atonement of Jesus Christ. Jesus defeated death on the cross and crushed the head of the serpent. The grave can hold you no longer.

However to receive the power of the Holy Spirit, you must accept and confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior. You must also confess and repent your sins, for we are all sinners and have fallen short to the Glory of God.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life John 3:16

Whoever believes in him should not perish, I promise from God your creator. Everlasting life can be yours, follow Jesus he is the truth, the light, and the way Amen

Happy Mothers Day

Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: Proverbs 31:28

My wife is the center of our family, without her I couldn’t raise our boys, she brings the love, compassion, knowledge that only a mother can give to there children.  So this Mothers Day let’s reflect on the importance Mothers have not only on our own lives, but the entire worlds existence.

Without Mothers there would be no human race. Yes we know God creates us, but even Jesus needed a Mother to bring him into this world and look after him. For much is giving much is required.

As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you Isaiah 66:13

God has sent Mothers on this Earth to comfort us, to guide us, to love us. When you were brought into this world by your Mother, remember she took care of you at your most vulnerable time. Even though it was difficult for her, she sacrificed to bring you life.

She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. Proverbs 31:26

Your mother was your guide into this world before you might even remember. She was there with your every step instructing you from danger. She was watching over you for your protection. She encouraged you when you kept failing, and she praised you when you tried.

She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks. Proverbs 31:17

Your Mother had many jobs and tasks to raise you and keep the family running. Not only did she raise you, but cooked you food, maintained the house, managed the kids activities and education,  and worked another job outside the home.  God has sent special women to take on this task, and they are called Mothers in Jesus name Amen

Dead To Sin Alive to God

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?  Romans 6: 1-3

Jesus has paid the price for your sins, does that mean you can now sin with no consequences? Absolutely Not, when you accept Jesus into your heart you become transformed, sin should be repulsive to you.

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Romans 6:4-6

Jesus didn’t die alone on the cross, every single one of us died on that cross also. When Jesus resurrected from the dead, our new selves resurrected also. To deny Christ is death.

Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Romans 6:7-8

If you accept Jesus, your “Old Man” died on the cross, you are no longer a slave to sin and death. Your chains have all been broken.  Satan can no longer defeat you.

Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:9-11

We worship the God of the Living and not the dead, this is only possible thru our Lord Jesus Christ. They can kill the body but they can’t kill the soul, you will have eternal life thru Jesus Christ.

Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. Romans 6:12-14

However the flesh is weak and you are still vulnerable. You must resist evil and temptation, for Satan is like a lion looking to devour you. But thru Christ you have conquered sin and death. Trust in The Lord and he will be your refuge and strength in Jesus name Amen

Obedience of One

For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Romans 5:19

Adam’s sin has impacted us all, because of him there is now disease, sorrow, and death. His mortality has been passed down to all of us and we bear the burden of his disobedience.

However thru the atonement sacrifice of Jesus, he saved us all.  He was without sin and washed us clean. So by Adam sin came death and by Jesus sacrifice came life.

Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: Romans 5:20

Before Jesus fulfilled the law, God delivered the Law to Moses. Although mankind knew what to expect from God, we couldn’t control our sinful and rebellious ways. For we are all sinners and fall short to the Glory of God.

As it says in the book of Revelation, no one was worthy of opening the book of Life (Revelations 5:4) , except one, and that is our Lord Jesus Christ.

That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5:21

We are slaves to sin, many will try to deny this, but our sins own us. Not only do they control us but they will kill us. There is only one who can break the chains and that is Jesus Christ.

Jesus didn’t come to condemn the world but save it. His mercy and grace is greater than the evils of this world. Because of the sins of Adam, you need Jesus, he is the only one who can make you worthy to stand before God. Give yourself to him today and add your name to the book of life in Jesus name Amen

Justified by Faith

But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: Romans 3:21-22

Jesus came to save us all, not just the Jews, not just the righteous, all of us. As Jesus said he didn’t come to abolish the law but to fulfil it.  The veil is torn, accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and you are redeemed.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Romans 23-24

Who needs Jesus? We all need Jesus, every single person that walked this planet. We are all sinners and we all need to be forgiving. Some might say well I don’t believe in Gods laws therefor I’m not subject to them. Just because you don’t believe, doesn’t mean it’s doesn’t apply to you. We will all be held accountable for our actions in the end.

Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.  Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. Romans 27-28

We are redeemed by the deeds of the law. How? Jesus fulfilled the law and became the atonement sacrifice for your sins.  And by faith believe that Jesus is the Messiah, therefor we are justified by faith because Jesus fulfilled the law.

Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. Romans 3:31

The same law that was giving to Moses by God, is still the same law today. Jesus fulfilled that law for us. Since we are redeemed by the blood of Jesus, that doesn’t give us the right to sin freely. For thru Christ you have become renewed, a new creature, your ways should be holy and living for God in Jesus Name Amen.

Are You Ashamed?

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16

Are you ashamed of Jesus? Do you declare to the world he is the Messiah? Jesus suffered and was humiliated for your sins, how can you be ashamed of your Savior?  Anyone who acknowledges Jesus before others he will acknowledge before God.

If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.” Mark 8:38

Jesus is a relationship not a religion. You can’t ever expect to really know Jesus, until you made the commitment to develop the relationship, and the same goes for him. You can’t expect Jesus to know you unless you open your heart to him. Time is ticking, were only a heartbeat away.

Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments. Psalm 119:6

When you develop that relationship with Jesus, you understand he loves you and wants you to prosper. Therefor you respect and honor Gods commandments. Because you understand those commandments are not for your harm but for your protection.

But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city. Hebrews 11:16

Abraham was unashamed to declare God even though his ancestors worshipped pagan Gods. Jehovah recognized this and was unashamed to declare Israel was his people also. Don’t be ashamed of your creator who loved you so much he sacrificed his only son.

Don’t be a closet Christian, be unashamed of Jesus and declare him to the world as your Lord and Savior. If you truly love him, you will not be ashamed to tell the world in Jesus Name Amen.

Pray without Ceasing

Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. Acts 12:5

Due to Peters relentless faith in spreading the gospel, the Romans and Jews were playing on executing him. But Peter and the Church had faith in God and understood the principle, “All things are possible with God”

So what was there weapon of warfare? It was prayer, They Prayed without Ceasing, as humans our natural reaction to try and fix all our problems. But our main problem is were not giving our problems up to God.

And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. Acts 12:7

The Lord heard the Churches prayers and released Peter from prison, saving his life. A situation that seemed impossible to man, is nothing for our God.  Think about it, Peter was in a prison cell, tied up with chains, and being guarded by Roman soldiers. What possibility do you think the Church thought they had to overpower the Romans and free Peter?

If you’re in a tough situation, don’t think about all the obstacles stacked against you. Pray without Ceasing, our God is the creator of the Heavens and The Earth, he breathed life into man from dust, there is nothing impossible for him.

Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18

As Paul says Pray with Ceasing and Give Thanks to God for everything.  To understand God is to develop a relationship with him thru our Lord Jesus Christ and to develop that relationship we need to Pray without Ceasing. Not just pray when we need something, talk to God. Thank him for everything you have been giving, praise him in the storm and the sunshine.

It’s like any other relationship, a marriage, a friendship, ect, you can’t build a relationship without communication. That’s why you need to “Pray without Ceasing” God wants to know you, not just in bad times but all the time in Jesus Name Amen

Don’t Repay Evil with Evil

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. Romans 12:17

It’s human nature to seek revenge when someone does us wrong. But does two wrongs make a right? The riots in Baltimore are a classic example of this. We originally started with one victim, but now it’s escalated to multiple victims. What justice did this accomplish?

If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Romans 12:18

Some will say Peace is impossible. But until everyone learns to love each other as themselves, there will never be Peace. Until you value your neighbors life as you value your own. Until the world accepts Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, it will never be possible. Only with God are all things possible.

Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. Romans 12:19

Our God is a just God, he is in control. Don’t take revenge into your own hands, give it up to The Lord. When you defy God and take revenge in your own hands, your not only being rebellious, it’s Satanic. God is the law and justice.

On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.” Romans 12:20

You have heard the expression “Kill them with kindness” Good always defeats evil, as Jesus said only the Merciful will obtain Mercy. If your not merciful you will never receive Peace.

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21

Evil will never overcome you unless you allow it, God can’t be defeated, if God is with us who can stand against us. Don’t give in to Evil, take a stand and stand with God.

Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots. Luke 23:34

Even as Jesus was hanging on the cross, he asked God to forgive everyone. We need to forgive also just like Jesus. Don’t take justice in your own hands, put it in the hands of God. Don’t repay Evil with Evil in Jesus name Amen

Open Your Eyes and Ears

For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. Matthew 13:15-16

It’s amazing when you think about all the miracles Jesus had performed and prophecies he fulfilled right in front of people, and yet many still did not believe.  That’s why humility comes wisdom.

As people we become proud and set in our ways. God could be talking to us at this very moment, but we are too busy, distracted, or plainly just not interested in hearing or seeing.

For truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it. Matthew 17

Could you imagine living during the days of Jesus, actually seeing him heal the sick, speaking the Word of God with authority?

The disciples had seen many miracles and heard many parables, but yet all of them still doubted who Jesus was. What’s it going to take for you to truly hear and see the Power of God?

This is why I speak to them in parables: “Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. Matthew 13:13

This is why Jesus spoke in parables, so people could relate to God in there every days life. This is common nowadays also as many try to teach the Word of God being relatable to your current life.

But why do you force God to water down his gospel so you will accept it? All of us probably in our lifetimes have experienced our own miracle that we can’t explain, only God could have performed. So why can’t we have faith? Why don’t you hear and see God?

He said, “Go and tell this people: “‘Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.” Isaiah 6:9-10

Jesus had fulfilled this prophecy, until people open there hearts with love, they will never understand God. Just as Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love God with all our hearts and love each other as Christ has loved us.

Stop hardening your heart, open your eyes and see, open your ears and hear.  Jesus is the Messiah and has saved the world. Follow him in Jesus Name Amen
