He said to them, “Do you bring in a lamp to put it under a bowl or a bed? Instead, don’t you put it on its stand?  For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open. Mark 4:21-22

As Christians we are called to be The light of the world, so its important we don’t hide our faith or our talents God has blessed us with. You might say I don’t want to draw attention to myself, but that’s the whole point. God made you a light of this world to attract people to his Word not be ignored.

God didn’t design you to be hidden, not to be a closet Christian. God wants you to be his hands and feet and show Christ living thru you. What good does it having talents giving by God if you never use them?

If anyone has ears to hear, let them hear.” Mark 4:23

Many times were hesitant to talk about God to others but there are many longing to hear the Good Word. When you know the love and sacrifice Jesus has giving us, its hard not only contain that hope but its also our duty to make disciples of all the nations.

“Consider carefully what you hear,” he continued. “With the measure you use, it will be measured to you–and even more. Mark 4:24

We should always be slow to speak and quick to listen, but be careful what your listening to. There are many who are either spreading false gospel or don’t really know the true gospel. That’s why its important for us to know The Bible, How can you teach others if you  don’t really know yourself?

Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.” Mark 4:25

Our riches are not in the world they are in Heaven, don’t be working for The Lord looking for great riches here on Earth. You will be rewarded by God when your mission is done. So don’t get discouraged that nobody is rewarding you , because God knows all the work you have done.

Remember to be The Light of the World, we are The Children of The light and not darkness. Don’t hide your faith and hope we have thru Jesus Christ Amen

Sin is like a beehive, we are enticed by the sweetness of it’s honey but unaware of the consequences of our trespasses. We partake in its sweetness and it tastes good, it satisfies the flesh. However lurking in that hive are angry bees looking to pay justice for our transgressions.

They begin to swarm and multiply in numbers. They surround you looking to destroy you not save you . You can’t escape them, they follow you wherever you go. You try to run faster but then just attack harder. Eventually you will be overcome and left in your pit.

Jesus is like a pool of water, he is deep and full of mercy. His living water is your only hope and he won’t reject you. You plunge into the water looking for mercy. You look up our the water and still see some angry bees trying to devour you. But they know if they enter the water they will be destroyed. For the Living Water is greater than there evil.

Eventually you are out of breathe so you have to come up out of the water. Your expecting another strike but there is a sense of peace in the air. Even though you are scared and battered by the strikes of the bees, you can now go without fear of being attacked.

Later you walk by another bee hive, will you repeat the same disobedience again or have you become transformed by the water? Life is full of choices, you must choose wisely or self-destruct in Jesus Name Amen

“The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come. Matthew 22:2-3

God sent his only begotten Son Jesus to find the lost sheep of Israel and save them. But most of the Jews have rejected Jesus as there Messiah, The kingdom of Heaven was ready but Gods people rejected him.

“Then he sent some more servants and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.'”But they paid no attention and went off–one to his field, another to his business.The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and killed them. Matthew 22:4-6

So Jesus sent out his disciples to tell everyone about the Kingdom of Heaven, but instead of listening they persecuted and killed them.

“Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. Matthew So go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.’ Matthew 22:9

Since the Jewish people rejected Jesus, God opened his covenant to the Gentiles. Because of Gods grace we are now circumcised at the heart and worthy to enter The Kingdom of Heaven

He asked, ‘How did you get in here without wedding clothes, friend?’ The man was speechless. Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’  “For many are invited, but few are chosen.” Matthew 22:12-14

Jesus taught us many are called but few are chosen, we are all now able to enter Gods Kingdom because of Jesus atonement sacrifice on the cross. However we are still required to follow the Law of God that should be written in our hearts.

This parable that Jesus taught, perfectly explains Gods plan for all of us. We are required to be The Bride of Christ, be prepared for the Wedding Day of Judgement in Jesus Name Amen

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23

God originally created us perfect in a perfect world. But God is not a dictator therefor we always have free will.  Satan abused this free will and decided he wanted to be God and waged war on us. He then deceived Adam and Eve and corrupted them with sin.

Because of their disobedience we inherited there curse of death. For this we are now mortal and our only hope for salvation is thru Jesus Christ.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

True love was demonstrated to us on that day when Jesus laid down his life for us. It was on that day Jesus defeated death and saved all of us thru his grace. Jesus paid the price for our sins, don’t you want to know your Savior?

And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Matthew 3:17

During Jesus baptism God confirms from Heaven that Jesus is The Son of God, and the Holy Spirit descended down upon him. If you reject Jesus you are rejecting God

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me John 14:6

As sinners we are not worthy to stand in the presence of God, but thru Jesus he is our vindicator. Nobody gets to God without going thru Jesus, there is no other way to Heaven but thru the cross.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27

Jesus is the Prince of Peace, in a world full or turmoil we can be comforted by our Lord Jesus who has already overcame the world. Because of this we can live with internal peace even though externally there may not be peace

I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. John 15:15

Jesus is our friend, often when we think of God we think of this invisible force that’s millions of miles away. But Jesus became God in the flesh and has giving us a personal relationship with our creator.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5

Jesus is the Great Physician, he healed many throughout his time here on Earth and he still healing today thru the Holy Spirit. When the doctors say there is no hope, consult the only one who gives us hope.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13

Jesus is our strength, when the weight of the world is taking you down, call on The Lord to give you strength. The same power that rose Jesus from the grave is living inside of us!

Anyone who calls upon The Lord shall be saved! Get to know your Lord and Savior today in Jesus Name Amen

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

Even though Israel was at a dark time in there nation’s history, Gods message to them was, Hey everything is going to be alright, I still have a plan for you!

The same thing happens in our own lives, we get in a down season and we think it’s all over, but we need to remember Jesus is own the throne. The whole world rests on his shoulders, its not over till he says its over.

Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. Jeremiah 29:12

When we do have times of trouble, what is our reaction? Do we pray to God or just sulk in self-pity? God wants to hear from you, he wants a personal relationship with you thru the good times and the bad. When you call upon The Lord in your day of trouble he will deliver you.

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13

God also wants us to seek him, many times things happen in our lives that we don’t understand or don’t find fare. However instead of being bitter seek God for answers. Ask him to fill you with his Holy Spirit to give you wisdom, comfort, and strength.

I will be found by you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the LORD, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.” Jeremiah 29:14

God is hoping that thru our trials we will find him and he will then be able to deliver us. See God will never leave us or forsake us, even when we feel left alone in the world he is there waiting for us to reach out to him in Jesus Name Amen
