For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
Fear can control us, it can manipulate us, it can cause great stress or anxiety. Until we learn to break the chains of fear, it’s difficult to live a peaceful life
As Jesus said in Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Often we focus too much on the present world and not on our eternal world. This life we live right now is not our final destination. When you start looking at the big picture and putting things in perspective, our daily struggles start to minimize.
Now I’m not trying to downplay life. I know there are some major struggles in life and we should be thankful for the life were giving and make the most of it. But don’t sweat the small stuff.
You didn’t get that promotion, in the end it really doesn’t matter. God has a more important job for your in Heaven. Your struggling to pay your bills, God has mansions and streets of gold that have your name on them
As it says in 1 Corinthians 7:31 “Those who use the things of the world, as if not engrossed in them. For this world in its present form is passing away.”
Once we keep our minds focused on Gods promises, we suddenly see the world thru different eyes. Big problems start to look small.
Once we learn to live fearless like Kind David in Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
With God Fear can no longer control you; once the enemy knows they can’t control you they flee. Your chains are then broken and victory will be yours in Jesus name Amen

God cares for you
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6
Isn’t this a message the world needs right now? With all the stress, anxiety, and chaos in the world today, God is the remedy.
Now I know this is easier said than done, but that’s what your journey thru faith is about. Next time your stressed try praying to God and see what happens, what do you have to lose?
Consider Matthew 6:27 “Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?”
Isn’t that a great question? All the hours and energy spent worrying have not brought you any closer to a resolution.
Believe me I’m not trying to downplay your problems or be insensitive. For I have problems and worries of my own. What I’m suggesting is we take a leap of faith. We dig down deep and cast all our problems and worries unto God
He says to do this in 1 Peter 5:7 “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” God wants you to call out to him especially in your darkest hours.
Psalms 55:22 Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.
Take that leap of faith, give it all up to God. Let him deal with your problems. You don’t need to shoulder the load because you’re not strong enough to do it alone. But with God there is peace and victory. Amen

“In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, Ephesians 4:26
This scripture is great advice to live by; do we resolve our issues before we go to bed or do we go to bed angry?
What are the consequences of letting unresolved issues to linger? Do your problems begin to manifest and become greater than they are?
As it says in 1 Corinthians 13:4, 5 Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, 5does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered,…
We are all going to have disagreements sometimes and even sometimes it’s healthy for a relationship, but we have to remember to be respectful, listen, and importantly resolve the issue before we go to bed.
A good rule to live by is from Ephesians 4:32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Letting unresolved issues to linger they can begin to grow into something bigger as said in Proverbs 17:14” Starting a quarrel is like breaching a dam; so drop the matter before a dispute breaks out.:”
Your initial disagreement can start just a little drip of water, but keep pressing the issue and it could be like a dam broke. Once the flood occurs it can be difficult to repair and restore things the way they were.
So be careful with your words and be kind and respectful to one another. Don’t allow your anger or disputes to carry over into tomorrow. For everyday is a new beginning and we should begin with a fresh start Amen
