Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Do you ever say to yourself I don’t see any miracles by God? Do you feel connected to God at all through the Holy Spirit? What words and thoughts are coming out of you? You see our bodies are the “Temple of God”. In order for the Holy Spirit to dwell in us we must keep our Temples clean.

What does it mean to keep your Temple clean? Try to keep yourself Holy and pure, refrain from things that offend God. You can’t expect to be watching pornography or violent movies and having The Holy Spirit live inside you. Remember blasphemy against The Holy Spirit is an unforgivable sin.

Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.” They replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?”  But the temple he had spoken of was his body. John 2:19-21

Jesus prophesied about his resurrection, referencing his body as the “Temple of God”. Everyone thought he was talking about the physical temple they worshipped at. But we should treat our bodies as our Temple of God or church.

Would you curse at church or watch pornography? No of course not, most people try to be on there best behavior and dress there best when going to Church. This is how we should treat our bodies every day. If we want The Holy Spirit to dwell in us, we must strive to keep our bodies Holy. Remember we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength Amen

And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 14:13

Do you ever wonder why we pray in Jesus Name? Or are you praying to God in Jesus name? The reason we do is because God commanded us to. You must remember there is power in the name of Jesus, all power and glory have been given to him by God.

Demons tremble at the sound of the name of Jesus, why do you think people get so offended when you mention Jesus?  Because God has revealed himself through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior

If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:14

Many people try to abuse this by asking for worldly pleasures like money and fame. But remember God wants what is good for your eternal soul, not your temporary flesh. Do expect to use God as a genie and be blessed. Pray for the gifts of The Holy Spirit, which will empower you to stay Holy

If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; John 14:15-16

If you truly love God then you would keep his commandments. Just as if a child truly loved their parents they would listen to their parents.  Sometimes we make mistakes but we should strive to remain obedient to Gods Word.

God has sent the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, who will live with us forever. Isnt’t it awesome to think the power of our Living God can live inside of us? But we must remember to ask and pray in Jesus Name, for he is the name above all names Amen

But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever. 1 Timothy 5:8

The role of Father is very important, and God has revealed this to us throughout The Bible. Just as we call God our Heavenly Father, there is no greater positon of authority in the world. That’s why the position of Father needs to be taken serious and not abused or squandered.

God shows us in this scripture, any Father who doesn’t properly provide for their family is worse than an unbeliever, some translations use the word “infidel” Regardless it shows you God expects us to take care of the families that he has blessed us with. Our highest priority should be our family, if we fail there we fail everywhere.

Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4

As a Father its important to learn how to raise our children, we must teach them discipline but also show them love and compassion. We need to be building up and encouraging our children, not just criticizing them. We should always look to Jesus as an example of how to be a good Father.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

Although we want to always be loving and kind, we still need to teach our children. We can’t expect children to know what they don’t know. Its our duties as Fathers to prepare our children for the world. To teach them right and wrong and most importantly teach them about God

For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing what is right and just Genesis 18:19

You didn’t become a Father by mistake, many guys will claim they had a child by accident, ect.  This is a cop out. God has chosen you to be a Father for your child. Its time for you to man up and fulfill the role of Father that you were chosen to be

Being a Father is the most rewarding calling you can ever have, and its important to know that we are not alone. God has provided us with instruction and wisdom in Jesus Name Amen

You therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ  2 Timothy 2:3

When you become a Christian you become a Soldier Under Command. A soldier under Gods command to endure the hardness and fight the good fight of faith. We must not approach our faith lightly and we should expect hardship and trials among the way.

This shows you have far off the “Prosperity Gospel” is from the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our riches are not of this world but are the grace from God through Jesus Christ

No man that wars entangles himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who has chosen him to be a soldier. 2 Timothy 2:4

We don’t live to please ourselves but to please God who has chosen us to be a “Soldier Under Command”. The “Prosperity Gospel” tells you lies of pursing riches and fame. But a true Soldier of Christ denies themselves and becomes a servant to God

And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully. 2 Timothy 2:5

If we expect to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven, we must inherit it lawfully. Meaning we must truly be a “Soldier Under Command “for God and not for this world. We can’t expect to live for this world and be living lawfully for God, for we can only serve one master.

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you are also called, and have professed a good profession before many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:12

As Soldiers Under Command we must remember to “Fight the Good Fight” for Jesus Christ. We must be prepared to endure the hardships and press on as soldiers in Jesus Name Amen

The LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” Genesis 2:18

God made the perfect man in Adam but he was not complete without his wife. You see none of us were designed to live alone, we were designed to have a partner that has been chosen by God to be our helper.

I am blessed to be married to my helper and soulmate. Alone I don’t know where I would be today, but together we’ve been united for 18 years and grown a beautiful family and life. So today I’m honoring my wife Heidi, who God has sent me to be my partner forever.

That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh. Genesis 2:24

Its important to remember when your married that Two become One flesh. You are no longer living for yourself or a separate life. Everything you do is a reflection of your partner also. I truly believe God made marriage this way, remember you are living for your spouse also not just yourself

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her Ephesians 5:25

Another important reminder is Husbands need to love their wives just as Jesus loves us. Let reflect on how Jesus showed us his love, he was willing to sacrifice himself to save our lives. We should have that same deep love for our spouses also. A marriage will also fail unless we put Jesus in the middle.

However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. Ephesians 5:33

Finally we must also love our spouses as we love ourselves. You want your partner to be encouraging and uplifting, so you should be the same towards them. Remember Two become One flesh, you are one. Don’t do anything that you wouldn’t want done to you.

I personally want to thank God for sending me my wife, Heidi, we complete each other. She has blessed me in so many ways, and I only hope that I can do the same for her. I pray that God continues to bless and protect our family in Jesus Name Amen
