But Jeremiah said, “They will not give you over. Please obey the LORD in what I am saying to you, that it may go well with you and you may live. Jeremiah 38:20
Jeremiah was once again cast into to prison and left for day for speaking the truth of God. However there was one King who actually wanted to know what God had to say and rescued Jeremiah. King Zedekiah told Jeremiah “Do not hide anything from me” (Jeremiah 38:14)
King Zedekiah wanted Jeremiah to give it to him straight about what God had to say. He didn’t want a watered down version, he wanted the Truth. Because Jeremiah told him the truth he saved Jeremiahs life.
The message was simple, Obey God and you will live. If you disobey God you are going to die from the wages of everyones sins
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths. 2 Timothy 4:3-4
Today we have the same issue, nobody wants to hear the truth. Nobody wants to hear the Word of God, and those who do speak truth are persecuted for their faith. Just like Jeremiah, don’t compromise! God will deliver you!
We have many churches and Christians who have “watered down” the gospel or changed doctrines to please or not offend people. Give it to them straight, speak truth. Because when we die its to late , only Jesus Christ can save your soul Amen!

Seek the Lord while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near.

His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ Matthew 25:23
Social Media is fueled by seeking approval from others. You post a picture of yourself and wait for people to “like” it. When the amount of “likes” are not reached you feel a sense of dissatisfaction. You see your friend or neighbor going on an elaborate vacation, with lots of photos of everyone smiling. You need to match their “happiness” so you go an elaborate vacation yourself and post lots of photos so everyone can see, hoping for more “likes” to get everyone’s approval.
This vicious cycle continues and on until you feel more depressed and defeated than before you ever signed up for Social Media. What happened? Your living in a false reality, you’re seeking the approval of people instead of approval of your creator. Your searching
Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them.
Matthew 25:14
The parable of the talents is all about us using our God-given talents to our fullest capabilities for the greater good of the Kingdom of God. When Christ returns hes going to check what we actually did with our time and talents.
Many people waste their time and talents , mostly to please themselves or other people. But the only one we should really care about what they think is Jesus Christ. The one who loves you enough to die for you.
When he returns will he say “Well done, good and faithful servant”? Or will he say “Depart from me I never knew you”? Who are you living your live for? Jesus gives you a hope and a purpose Amen!

‘As for the promise which I made you when you came out of Egypt, My Spirit is abiding in your midst; do not fear!’

John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. Mark 1:4
Picture this, a man wearing clothes made of camel hair and living off of locusts and wild honey, is standing outside the great city of Jerusalem yelling to people to “Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand” (Matthew 3:2)
Many people probably thought he was crazy, yet Jesus calls John the “greatest of all prophets” (Mathew 11:11) Others listened to his message, repented of their sins, and was “baptized” in the Jordan River awaiting the arrival of the Christ, the Son of God
Imagine John doing this in todays society? Imagine him standing outside of Manhattan , yelling for people to repent of their Sins. The Liberals and LGTBQ groups are all offended, they have him arrested for a hate crime speaking the Word of God. The media calls John a bigot , a racist, some even declare him a terrorist because his free speech is not considered acceptable.
And he was preaching, and saying, “After me One is coming who is mightier than I, and I am not fit to stoop down and untie the thong of His sandals. Mark 1:7
But regardless of any of this, John states there is one greater coming than him who hes not even worthy to tie his shoe. John is the fulfillment of the prophecy in Isaiah , the messenger to prepare the way for The Lord.
How do we prepare for the coming of The Lord? We repent of our sins, we wash our iniquities away. Jesus is coming again soon, Are You Ready?

And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;

Take again another scroll and write on it all the former words that were on the first scroll which Jehoiakim the king of Judah burned. Jeremiah 36:28
The Word of God was given to the Prophet Jeremiah who then had written down by Baruch, it was then read to King Jehoiakim who didn’t like what God had to say and burned it in his fireplace. According to the Bible King Jehoiakim was a wicked man (2 Kings 23:37) who was also guilty of killing prophet Uriah (Jeremiah 26:20-23)
So its no surprise King Jehoiakim would reject the Word of God and try to destroy it. The Kings followers were just as bad, as they showed no fear in Gods word and they didn’t react when he burned the scrolls (Jeremiah 36:23-24) However as we know, God will not be mocked, and his Word remains forever
And concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah you shall say, ‘Thus says the LORD, “You have burned this scroll, saying, ‘Why have you written on it that the king of Babylon will certainly come and destroy this land, and will make man and beast to cease from it?'” Jeremiah 36:29
God commanded the scroll to be rewritten, but he also God passed judgment down upon King Jehoiakim for his blasphemy. This prophecy came true as King Jehoiakim when the Babylonians overtook Jerusalem and Jehoiakims body was thrown over the city wall in a disgraceful death
The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever. Isaiah 40:8
Today there is still a lot of people like King Jehoiakim trying to remove and destroy the Word of God. But the Word of God will stand forever! Truth is truth, regardless if you try to ignore or deny it. 1+1 will always equal 2, just as the Word of God will always stand Amen!

On the day I called, You answered me; You made me bold with strength in my soul.
