but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin “—Mark 3:29
Jesus promised that all sin can be forgiven, however there is one sin that is eternal and that’s “Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit” So what is Blasphemy? The original Greek word is “Blasphemos” meaning to speak evil, slander, or abusive.
Now to first understand this, we need to understand who the Holy Spirit is. We first need to recognize that the Holy Spirit is God, and to reject the Holy Spirit is to reject God. During this story, Jesus was casting out demons by the Holy Spirit. Remember Jesus was fully human and was baptized by the Holy Spirit (Mark 1:10)
The religious leaders accused Jesus of being possessed with a demon spirit instead of the Holy Spirit, this was blasphemy. Especially considering they knew the scriptures about the prophecy of the Messiah (Christ), they witnessed Gods miracles right before their eyes, yet they still denied Jesus.
But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the price of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not under your control? Why is it that you have conceived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”Acts 5:3-4
A good example is when Ananias and Sapphira lied to Peter and the Holy Spirit about how much money they had. Peter told them they just didn’t lie to him but to God also. The consequences were fatal as the Holy Spirit put them to death immediately.
What happened here? They denied the Holy Spirit, they blasphemed to God. Now this was an extreme example, however I think God did this on purpose to teach us a lesson how serious “Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit” is
But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. 1 Corinthians 2:14
Why do some people accept the Gospel and some people reject it? Its because without the Holy Spirit we cant understand or accept Christ. Those who reject the Holy Spirit are committing blasphemy and cant be saved. Its only until we accept the testimony from the Holy Spirit regarding Jesus Christ, that we can come to repentance and be saved The Holy Spirit is not a mythical force, he is part of the Triune God. Listen to the Holy Spirit and be drawn to Christ for your salvation, otherwise live in blasphemy and be condemned eternally

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.
John 14:26 NASB

Thus the LORD used to speak to Moses face to face, just as a man speaks to his friend. When Moses returned to the camp, his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, would not depart from the tent. Exodus 33:11
Here is a very interesting scripture for several reasons. First it says that Moses spoke with God “Face to Face”. Now at first you would believe this is an idiom as the Apostle John said “Nobody has seen God” However when you examine the original Hebrew word “panim” it means exactly Face
So the scripture is clear that Moses spoke to God “Face to Face” just as a friend. Since God is a Spirit (John 4:24) the logical conclusion is Moses was speaking to Jesus Christ!
The second interesting thing about the word “panim” or Face is that its plural in the Hebrew. Meaning God is not singular but Triune. Just as God said “Let Us Make man in Our image” (Genesis 1:26) Just as when Abraham was approached by Three Men before they destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 18) God is a Triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit)
Then Moses said, “I pray You, show me Your glory!” Exodus 33:18
But He said, “You cannot see My face, for no man can see Me and live!” Exodus 33:20
God tells Moses that his presence will be among the people. Moses asks God to reveal his complete Glory. The interesting thing here when God says nobody can see “My Face” it’s a different Hebrew word “panay” meaning a Singular version of Face. Meaning you cant see The Father because of our corrupted state as human
No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him. John 1:8
So when the Apostle John says “Nobody has ever seen God “ the Greek word for God here is “Theon” which is Singular, probably referring to the Father. However they have seen the Son (Jesus) who Moses also saw
As Jesus said “If you have seen me you have seen the Father” (John 14:9) Moses met Christ “Face to Face” and he delivered them as he also delivered us on the cross Amen!

And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
2 Corinthians 12:9 NASB

“If a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand. Mark 3:25
While Jesus continued to perform miracles, driving out demons, ect the religious leaders accused him of being possessed by a prince demon named Beelzebul, to obtain the powers Jesus has. The interesting thing is this is documented in the “Talmud” (which is a book of Rabbinic Teachings) that states Jesus had “magical powers” to perform miracles ect.
Jesus quickly demonstrated to them that their logic is very flawed. Why would Satan drive out Satan? (Mark 3:23) Obviously if Jesus was possessed by the devil he would be doing works of the devil, not works of God. He wouldn’t be healing people and forgiving their sins, he would be afflicting them and condemning them to hell
Jesus makes another good analogy, a house or kingdom divided will not stand (last) If Jesus was possessed with a demon, why would he be attacking his own kingdom? Its illogical, however lets look at the Christian “Church” today. Most Christians spend a good part of their time arguing with other Christians about doctrinal differences, did you not hear what Jesus said?
The reason the “Ekklessia” the Church is so ineffective today is because its greatly divided. We have over 40,000 different denominations, we have Hebrew Roots\Messianic groups, we have cults like Jehovah Witnesses and Seven Day Adventists, Christianity is divided in many directions.
If were truly disciples of Christ, we need to find common ground and unite for our Lord. If every Christian came together, worshipped together, prayed together, Satan would be powerless. But because many “Christians” cant even be in the same room as each other, the Church is divided. Jesus said a House divided will not stand.
Some suggest Christianity needs another reformation, they might be right. If your truly my brother or sister, then start acting like it. Jesus is our Lord (Master), not any doctrine or creeds Amen!

Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.

“They shall know that I am the LORD their God who brought them out of the land of Egypt, that I might dwell among them; I am the LORD their God. Exodus 29:46
God delivered his people, the Israelites, out of slavery and into freedom. God broke the bondages of his people and led them through the wilderness to the Promised Land. During this journey through the Wilderness, God had them make a tabernacle, in which he would live with his people and dwell among them.
Think about this, for 400 years the Israelites lived in slavery. They believed God had forgotten them, they suffered in aguish day after day, not knowing how or ever if, they would be free again
In this physical tabernacle in the wilderness, God dwelt with his people, just as with Holy Spirit, God dwells with us now!
And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14
God had a redemption plan for the Israelites, he also has a redemption plan for us! His redemption plan is Jesus Christ, and because of the shedding of his blood, we can become Children of God. Because of the shedding of his blood, are sins can be forgiven and our relationship can be restored back with God
God became Flesh and made his dwelling among us, just as God dwelled with the Israelites in the Wilderness, God dwelled with us in Jesus Christ. God has freed us from our slavery of sin and death and is currently leading us through the Wilderness to the New Promise Land ( the New Heavens and Earth)
If you are living in slavery today, become Set Free, by the only one who can set you free Jesus Christ Amen!

‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’
