Weapons of Warfare

But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh 2 Corinthians 10:2-3

We are all in a war right now, its not just a war of the flesh but a Spiritual War. While Jesus came to save your soul, Satan wants to destroy your soul. There are greater forces for and against us that we can’t possibly understand. But if you stand with the Word of God, you accept the Blood of Jesus Christ, you will not be defeated.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds 2 Corinthians 10:4

What are our “Weapons of Warfare” that God has equipped us with to defeat Satan?

  • The Blood of Christ
  • Continual Prayer
  • The Word of God
  • The Holy Spirit
  • The Love of God
  • The Church

These are our Weapons, the question is are you using them? Or are you going defenseless in a dark world? That’s like a sheep going to the slaughter.

Jesus is sitting on the throne, he is sitting at the right hand of God. There is no power in this world that is greater. He has already overcome and defeated the world. Thru Christ living in you , you can overcome the world also.

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5

Just like in the Garden of Eden, Satan wants to exalt himself above God. Declaring his Word is false and there is no heaven and hell. But know this Satan is a liar and will be cast into the “Lake of Fire” for eternity. Jesus is the Truth, Life, and the Way nobody gets to Heaven without going thru him

And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. 2 Corinthians 10:6

We see a lot of ministers who talk the talk but don’t walk the walk. If you’re going to preach the Word of God then you must live the Word of God. Everyone wants to get to Heaven, but only those who are obedient to Gods will are worthy.

Be prepared for the Spiritual War, arm yourself with Gods “Weapons of Warfare”. Know who your enemy is because your enemy knows who you are in Jesus Name Amen

Arise! Shine!

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 2 Corinthians 4:8-9

There are days when we feel weak, defeated, attacked from every angle. However we need to remember our Lord Jesus defeated death. The world beat him and tortured him but he still rose from grave. No evil in this world can defeat the power of Jesus Christ

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Romans 8:11

And that same power that rose Jesus from the dead is living inside of you thru the Holy Spirit. Satan can’t defeat you as long as you stand with God. There is no power in hell greater than the power of God that spoke planets into existence and breathed life into dust.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4

Jesus has overcome the world, and because of that with the Holy Spirit , you can overcome the world also. There is no force of darkness in this world that can defeat us with Christ living inside us.

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. Isaiah 60:1

So why are you sitting there acting defeated? Why are you laying down and waiting for death? Arise! Shine! For the power of the living God is inside you!  With man it’s impossible but with God all things are possible! God won’t leave us or forsake us, but it’s up to you stand against the evils of this world

Put on your Armor of God and stand against the schemes of the devil, we call do all things thru Christ who give us strength in Jesus Name Amen

Dry Bones

And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest. Ezekiel Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD Ezekiel Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: Ezekiel 37:3-5

How many of our Churches have become a land of “Dry Bones”? There is no spiritual life in sight, don’t be discouraged for God is the giver of life.

Just as God formed Adam from the dust and breathed life into him, he can do the same to the “Dry Bones” of your congregation. But God needs you to speak for him.

So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army. Ezekiel 37:10

When Ezekiel stayed faithful and prophesied just as God commanded him to, a valley of dead bones turned into a great army. Maybe you’re feeling alone or defeated with your walk with God, don’t be discouraged. With God all things are possible.

Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. Ezekiel 37:11

God clearly defines these bones as Gods people of Israel, but don’t think this prophecy has nothing to do with Christianity.

Remember Israel is and always will be Gods people and nation. Thru Christ we have become circumcised at the heart and because of Jesus we are now part of Israel. Everything that happens in the world is centered on Israel, because it’s God nation.

 

And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD. 37:14

There is only one way to truly be alive and that’s thru the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. If you don’t believe in the Trinity or believe in Israel, then your going to end up like the “Dry Bones” in the valley of Death in Jesus Name Amen

Through The Roof

And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. Mark 2:3-4

Who do you think Jesus is? These men had faith and believed Jesus was the Messiah and not only carried the physically disabled man many miles but took him up on the roof and lowered him down to Jesus.

There were so many people who came to see Jesus that you couldn’t even get close to the door. But these men were determined to see him because they knew he could heal there friend. What lengths do you go to get close to Jesus?

 

When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts, Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only? Mark 2:5-7

Even though Jesus performed many miracles in the name of God, many doubted and questioned his authority. Still many today doubt or deny Jesus is the Messiah. But Jesus knew there hearts just like he knows ours. Anyone who acknowledges Jesus before others he will acknowledge to God

Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) Mark 2:9-10

So Jesus not only forgave the mans sins but healed him instantly to demonstrate he is the Son of God and had the authority to do so. Jesus is the only way to God and the only way to be redeemed. Trust in Jesus just as this man did and you’ll be saved also.

I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion. Mark 2:11-12

An instant of Gods mercy and favor can cure a lifetime of struggle. This man never walked his entire life, but instantly Jesus healed him because of his faith.

Do you believe and trust in Jesus to be your Lord and Savior? Are you willing to go the extra mile to seek him? Most importantly do you have faith he will forgive your sins and heal you? Take the journey to Christ just like these men did in Jesus Name Amen
