Arise! Shine!

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 2 Corinthians 4:8-9

There are days when we feel weak, defeated, attacked from every angle. However we need to remember our Lord Jesus defeated death. The world beat him and tortured him but he still rose from grave. No evil in this world can defeat the power of Jesus Christ

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Romans 8:11

And that same power that rose Jesus from the dead is living inside of you thru the Holy Spirit. Satan can’t defeat you as long as you stand with God. There is no power in hell greater than the power of God that spoke planets into existence and breathed life into dust.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4

Jesus has overcome the world, and because of that with the Holy Spirit , you can overcome the world also. There is no force of darkness in this world that can defeat us with Christ living inside us.

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. Isaiah 60:1

So why are you sitting there acting defeated? Why are you laying down and waiting for death? Arise! Shine! For the power of the living God is inside you!  With man it’s impossible but with God all things are possible! God won’t leave us or forsake us, but it’s up to you stand against the evils of this world

Put on your Armor of God and stand against the schemes of the devil, we call do all things thru Christ who give us strength in Jesus Name Amen

Great post! This is exactly what the Lord has been showing us. We really do need to get this deep within and start walking out our faith in His power and strength in the name of Jesus as filled and led by the Holy Spirit.
Our pastor actually preached a message this past Sunday – he changed his message for Sunday morning on Friday as led by the Holy Spirit – and his main text was exactly Isaiah 60:1-2. He said that first, we need to look at Isaiah 55:6-7 and SEEK & TURN: seek the Lord and turn to Him for He is where our help and strength come from and then ARISE & SHINE!

I shared your post of Facebook, Twitter and Google+ with this: “This is a great truth spoken here – A SHORT READ – heavy in truth!”
