Blessed Are The Meek

Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth Matthew 5:5

The world tells us only the strong will survive, but Jesus tells us a different story. Only the meek will inherit the Earth. Think about it we live in a world where nations and groups try to dominate and control the Earth by violence and force. But in the end, all their blood shed will be pointless, as the meek and righteous will reign with the King of Kings in Gods Kingdom.

Often when we think of the word “meek” we think of weakness or defeated. But the Biblical meaning of “Meek” comes from the orginal Greek word “Praus” which means to be “Humble” “Under Control” “Gentle in Spirit”. When we you see the true descriptions of “Praus” or “Meek” you see the qualities of Christ. The Mighty King of Kings, Son of God, who humbled himself to lay down his life and fulfill his mission of salvation.

So we should strive to be “Meek”, to be obedient to God, to be humble even when we are blessed, to be under control and not a “loose cannon”. The world will “meekness” sound like weakness but to be meek is exactly what we should strive for.

So the question is , are you meek? Do you humble yourself before others or let your ego get the best of you? Do you have self control or do you react before thinking? Are you obedient to God or do you live on your own terms? Strive to be more like Christ and you will inherit the Earth in Jesus Name Amen

This Is The Day!

This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

This is the day in which I was made because today is my birthday! Usually I refrain from talking about myself but I wanted to take this opportunity to be thankful for life. Life is an amazing thing, it can’t be reproduced or replicated. The fact that we can experience the sun shining on our face, the air going into our lungs, the wind going through our hair, it’s a blessing to be part of God’s creation!

I’m so thankful for all the blessings in my life!  Thankful for my wife and children, Thankful for my family, Thankful for God who supplies all our needs , even when we didn’t see a way! Thankful for our Lord Jesus Christ who gives me hope and victory for the future!

The world is going to tell you, you are not blessed. The world tells you , you need this and that to be happy. The world tells you , you need to be skinnier or fatter, you need to be taller or shorter, you need to be richer or poorer, you need to be blacker or whiter.  The truth is happiness is found by recognizing you are already blessed! This is the Day!

Many people will scoff at this ,they probably feel I should be angry and miserable like they are, but I have the peace of God within me because of Jesus Christ. You can’t buy or manufacturer peace. It can only be acquired when you accept Christ as your Lord and Savior. Then you realize you are redeemed, you are set free! Have a blessed day everyone, This is The Day in Jesus Name Amen

Those Who Mourn

Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted Matthew 5:4

Are you mourning today for the loss of a loved one? Most likely your answer is Yes, pretty much everybody has lost someone they love. Why do we face this? Because we are all under the curse of Adam which consequently leads to our physical death. (Genesis 3:17)

But Jesus teaches us that one day our mourning will be turned into comfort. One day all our loved ones will be resurrected again and those who accept Christ as their Lord and Savior will live forever in an eternal paradise with no more mourning, pain, or death.

This is the glorious Day of The Lord we as Christians wait for. The promises from our God and Creator that one day there will be ultimate victory from evil. This why Christ is so important, he completes Gods redemption plan for humanity and paves the way for our salvation.

This message given to us by Jesus, the Son of God, should give you hope and strength to keep pressing on. When it seems like every day is just pain and suffering, know that one day there will come an end. One day we will have the victory and stand in peace with our God and our loved ones.

God didn’t create you to live in eternal mourning, he created us to live free and comforted in his Kingdom. If you don’t want to be part of it, its your choice. But I choose eternal joy over temporary sorrow, I choose Christ as my Lord and Savior in Jesus Name Amen

Poor In Spirit

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:3

Are you poor in Spirit? Most of us when we think of rich and poor, we think about the material world. But the material world and spiritual world are totally different. Many of us today in the material world are fine. Most of us have a roof over our heads, some food on the table, and a few dollars in our pockets. However as most of us have discovered, material wealth does not provide happiness or peace.

There are a lot of rich people, even many “celebrities” who end up trying to fill the void in their lives that material possessions cant. Many it even leads to suicide, so if money does buy happiness, why are there so many depressed celebrities?

So what does “Poor in Spirit” mean? Most of us have experienced or are experiencing trials and tribulations. Jesus said we should expect this (John 16:33). Maybe your struggling with an addiction, a disease, an illness, or maybe the struggle is with your family or loved ones. God knows your pain and hears your prayers and cries.

That’s why we should take hope in Jesus message that Blessed are those “Poor in Spirit” or the ones persecuted and struggling. For the Kingdom of God is Yours! Remember Jesus said about the New Heaven and Earth, that he will wipe away every tear, and there will be no more pain or suffering. (Revelation 21:4)

So rejoice in the words of Jesus Christ, for all of you who are suffering, our time to rejoice is coming soon in the Kingdom of God Amen

Gods Grace is Sufficient

And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 2 Corinthians 12:9

Are you looking for a cure? Are you looking for an answer from God? Remember what God told Paul “My grace is sufficient for you”. Many of us wonder why God hasn’t cured us or taken away something from a situation. Could it be God is making us stronger by our weaknesses?

Paul had been beaten, imprisoned, and even stoned by rocks. But Gods answer is “My Grace is sufficient”. So what is this Grace that God has provided us? How can it be sufficient for us when we are suffering or in need?

The Grace of God comes by the blood of Jesus Christ, who overcome sickness, disease, anxiety, depression, and even death. The Power of The Blood through Christ is our Grace from God. Because your Heavenly Father and Creator loves you enough, he granted us Grace, that has overcome the world.

How can we ever understand this Grace unless we understand suffering? Jesus told us in this world we will have tribulation/problems, but take heart/courage because Jesus has overcome the world (John 16:33) And through Christ we have overcome the world also!

Don’t allow your present suffering and trials to lose your faith, allow these to instead grow your faith. Understand that the Grace of God is sufficient, and in our weakness we are strong in Jesus Name Amen

Love of Christ

If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:2

Without love we are nothing. You can have all the knowledge of The Bible, attend every church service, even give your life savings. But if you don’t have the love of Christ, you have and are nothing. The whole foundation of Christianity was built on love.

God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten Son, the beginning of our salvation began with the love of God. Christianity did not begin with Jesus destroying the lawless ones, instead he showed the greatest example of love , as to lay down his life for us, his friends.

Jesus went on to teach “Love your Enemies” and “Bless those who persecute you”. This is a love and mercy that is hard for us to understand. While we spend, our days trying to destroy one another, Jesus was trying to set us free. And what did Jesus get in return? The world killed him because they didn’t have the love of God in their hearts.

So whatever your faith is, your religious background or Biblical knowledge. Know this without the Love of Christ, we are nothing. For Love is the fulfillment of The Law in Jesus Name Amen
