Gods Glory

“For I know their works and their thoughts; the time is coming to gather all nations and tongues. And they shall come and see My glory. Isaiah 66:18

God said “The time is coming to gather all the nations”, what does this mean? Its means his covenant is not just for the Jewish people anymore, but to anyone who calls upon the name of The Lord. The blood that Christ shed on the cross, finished the new covenant with God for us!

God knows our works and thoughts, don’t worry about condemning people or figuring out if they are just or not. God already knows, he knows our hearts and thoughts. Fix your eyes on Christ, and let God judge. Let people know about the glory God revealed to us through Jesus Christ!

What glory did God reveal? Before Christ we were all condemned, slaves to the wages of our sins. But since God so loved the world, he sent Jesus to free us from our sins. Now we are no longer separated from God, we are now his children. God has gathered everyone from the world, who will accept Christ into their hearts , to free us!

The time has come, God has given you a redemption plan. Listen and understand his revelation through Jesus Christ, who has taken on sin and death on his shoulders. You are free because the Son has set you free in Jesus Name Amen

Take Courage

For they all saw Him and were terrified. But immediately He spoke with them and said to them, “Take courage; it is I, do not be afraid.” Mark 6:50

The disciples were caught in the midst of a storm, they feared for their lives. Then they saw Jesus, their Lord and Savior, coming to save them but they were still afraid. Jesus said to them, Take courage, It is I

Its easy for us to get caught up in the events of the storm. Our minds quickly think about the worst case scenario, our faith quickly fades away. But Jesus is telling us to “Take Courage”, “Don’t be afraid”.

We need to understand that Jesus has overcome the world. There is nothing, no storm that is greater than our God. Just like the disciples in the boat, we need to fix our eyes on Jesus and not on the storm.

“Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you 31:6

Jesus was with them even in the storm, he didn’t leave or forsake them. Even though they thought they were going to die, Jesus was not going to allow that to happen. We need to “Take Courage”, Be strong and courageous just as God has commanded us. Fix your eyes on the one who can save you , not the storm in Jesus name Amen

Train Up Your Children

Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

Today our 3 year old son, Evan, would not leave the house without a Bible. He then proceeded to pretend to read it while in the van. I would like to think I have been a good influence on him and his brother. Most Sundays I have a Sunday School lesson for my boys, using the Bible App for Kids, they really enjoy it.

Kids in general are fascinated by Super Heros, such as Spider Man, Bat man, ect. These comic heros sell millions yearly at the box office and tons of merchandise you see most kids wearing. My thought is why don’t people teach kids about Jesus the real “Super Hero”? There are many fascinating stories in the Bible about his miracles he performed. If we introduce our kids to Jesus, most likely they are fascinated by him also.

Now don’t get me wrong I’m not forcing my kids to be Christians. I honestly don’t believe you can force anyone to accept Christ. Accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior is a personal decision that everyone has to come to their own conclusion. However if nobody ever teaches them about Jesus, how can they make an informed decision?

With God being removed from schools and general public, most children never even heard of Jesus. If we train up our children, to learn the Word of God and what Jesus has done for them, then they know he will never depart from them! Amen!

Honor God

“‘A son honors his father, and a servant his master. Then if I am a father, where is My honor? And if I am a master, where is My respect?’ says the LORD of hosts to you, O priests who despise My name. But you say, ‘How have we despised Your name?’ Malachi 1:6

Do you honor your mother and/or father? How much honor or respect do you show God?  Most of us its natural to show respect or honor to your parents or spouse. But for most its seems uncommon for people to show respect to God. How do you show God respect? Do you give him praise and thanks? Or do you use his name in vein every time a problem arises?

God is our Heavenly Father; he wants to have that relationship with us. But most of us see God as distant or unreachable. But through Jesus Christ we can have that relationship, he is the way, truth , and life, nobody comes to God except through him (John 14:6)

We need to talk to God through prayer. Most view prayer as a religious ritual but its more than that. It’s a time of deep meditation to open yourself up to the one who created you. The one who knows you more than anyone else on the planet. God just wants your heart, take the time to open it up to him.

Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. James 1:13

Many people will say, well God caused to many problems in my life ect. But we need to understand bad things don’t come from God. God doesn’t tempt anyone, its Satan who is looking to devour you. Once you understand Satan is your enemy and God is your Father, you can put your trust in him in Jesus Name Amen

Only Believe

But Jesus, overhearing what was being spoken, said to the synagogue official, “Do not be afraid any longer, only believe.” Mark 5:36

Do we live in fear out of lack of faith? When Jesus spoke these words he was going to visit a girl who was pronounced dead. When Jesus told them the girl was “only sleeping” and not dead, they laughed at him. Why? Because most people have no faith and never recognized who Jesus is, the Son of the Living God

Perfect Love casts out all fear ( 1 John 4:18)

Satan wants you to live in fear, to feel defeated. But as Jesus said, Don’t be afraid any longer! Why? Because Jesus has defeated everything at the cross, even death. Many people cant comprehend this, but that’s why Jesus says to have faith, believe.

As Jesus said to another woman he healed “ Your faith has made you well “ (Mark 5:34) Did fear and doubt heal this woman? No, if this woman rejected Christ she would have just remained defeated and ill. But because she had the boldness to believe in our Lord and Savior, she was made well, redeemed!

So if your living in fear today or feel defeated. Trust in Jesus, don’t be afraid any longer. There are no powers in this world that can defeat our God in Jesus Name Amen!

Former Things

“For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former things will not be remembered or come to mind. Isaiah 65:17

When you look around or watch the news , you see there is a lot of pain and suffering in the world. But we can have hope, because God has promised one day the former things will not be remembered anymore. So what are the former things? Pain, sorrow, and death. God has promised these things will one day become former things (Revelation 21:4)

Humanity spend a lot of time trying to save the planet but God has promised to create a New Heavens and Earth. One day when he reestablishes his Kingdom, he will recreate the Paradise here on Earth, just as it was for Adam and Eve. A place of peace, love , and joy.

So what happened? How did the Earth and humanity fall so far away from the beginning? It was the introduction of sin from Satan. Sin is the downfall of the human race, the separation from God. Through sin was the introduction of disease and death.

But God has a redemption plan for us all through Jesus Christ. At the cross he has overcome the world, he has overcome sin and death. And because of Christ, those who are redeemed through him will inherit the new heavens and Earth, and the former things will pass away in Jesus Name Amen
