The LORD restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the LORD increased all that Job had twofold. Job 42:10
As we come to the end of the book of Job, we see God has blessed Job “twofold” meaning twice as much, for his obedience and faith through his suffering and tribulation.
We remember earlier Job was so depressed that he cursed the day he was born. Job thought God had forgotten him and left him to die. But as God demonstrated, he never left or forsook Job at all. We remember Satan was the one who was testing and tormenting Job, not God. Even through all the pain and suffering , Job never cursed or blamed God. And his faith and obedience was rewarded.
So how does this story relate to us? What about our pain and suffering? Will God redeem us twofold?
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
God can take our darkest hour and turn into a victory! Just as God did with Job, he is still delivering us today. We have already received the greatest gift of all, eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ! It’s important that regardless of what trials or tribulation you are going through today, that God is causing things to work for your good!
Satan might be attacking you today, but God has the final say, and through faith and obedience like Job, you are also blessed twofold in Jesus Name Amen!

But You, O Lord , are a shield about me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head.

Jesus answered, “You would have no authority over Me, unless it had been given you from above; for this reason he who delivered Me to you has the greater sin John 19:11
God is always in control and always on the throne. Even in our darkest hours, when the world seems to be spinning in complete chaos, God has the final say.
While Pilate was giving the execution orders to Jesus, he thought that he (Pilate) was in complete control. Pilate thought there was no authority higher than his. Even though Pilate could find no fault with Jesus, he lived to please other people, and demonstrate his power and authority.
However what Pilate or anyone else doesn’t realize is Jesus willing laid down his life for the sins of the world (John 10:18) Jesus willingly allowed himself to be tortured and killed to pay the ransom for our sins. In truth Pilate has no power, hes just demonstrating the evil Satan has laid into our hearts.
What Pilate and the rest of the world doesn’t realize, through there abuse of power, they condemn themselves. As Jesus said “”Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell (Gehenna) (Matthew 10:28)
Don’t live your life in fear, God is in complete control, he holds your future and victory in Jesus Name Amen!

“I will surely tell of the decree of the Lord : He said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.

For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the wicked will perish.

For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either.

Let not many of you become teachers, my brethren, knowing that as such we will incur a stricter judgment. James 3:1
So you want to be a Pastor? Well The Bible actually urges against it unless you have really been called by God to preach. The reason is you will be held under “Stricter Judgment” by God , because you are being held to a higher standard based on your knowledge of God
In today’s society the position of Pastor, Reverend, Priest, ect is often being mocked in TV shows and jokes. Part of the reason is there have been many men and woman who have disgraced or abused this position. Make no mistake about it they will be punished by God at the highest level. Remember Blasphemy against The Holy Spirit is an unforgivable sin (Mark 3:29) If anyone thinks they will lie to God , play the part, and get away with it, will be sadly mistaken.
In the Old Testament, Priesthood was also taken for serious by God, in fact the only people who were allowed to be Priests, were from the Bloodline of Aaron (Levites) (Exodus 28) Why would God do this? Because he wanted to be sure that the Priest was raised and trained properly. Since all Priests came from the same bloodline, you can be sure there was no paganism or bad practices being carried down
“For many are called, but few are chosen.” Matthew 22:14
Am I discouraging people from pursing ministry? Absolutely not, however if your going to take the head position of a Pastor, Minister, Priest, ect, make sure You have been called and your serving God with all your heart, mind and soul in Jesus Name Amen!

But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
