“Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. Isaiah 60:1
The promise of the Light of The World was given to the Jewish people over 700 years before Christ was born. The Light, which overcomes the darkness, has Risen upon You. A couple take ways from this verse, first Jesus was born Jewish, the Messiah was raised from Gods own people. Second Jesus has literally Risen, as on the 3rd day he defeated sin and death, and rose from the dead forevermore
Nations will come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. Isaiah 60:3
But Jesus didn’t come to just save the Jewish people, he came to save the entire world, Jews and Gentiles! One Covenant under God through Jesus Christ!
No longer will you have the sun for light by day, Nor for brightness will the moon give you light; But you will have the LORD for an everlasting light, And your God for your glory. Isaiah 60:19
Just as its prophesied in the book of Revelations, the New Heavens and Earth, where the radiance and holiness of Jesus will be our permanent light. No longer will the Sun be necessary because we will be living in the presence of our Lord, Savior, and God forevermore.
So Arise and Shine, because the Light Jesus Christ has come and he has Risen forevermore so we may be Risen to reign with him Amen!

Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine Within your house, Your children like olive plants Around your table. Behold, for thus shall the man be blessed Who fears the Lord .

and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” John 8:32
Set us Free? Wait a minute I’m already free, am I? The great deception by Satan is that you are Born Free. This is a lie from the devil, the fact is regardless of who you are or where you live, you are a slave to Sin and Death. Jesus came to set us Free, Once you know the Truth (Jesus) You can truly be Set Free
We are Abraham’s descendants,” they answered. “We have never been slaves to anyone. How can You say we will be set free?” John 8:33
The Religious Leaders cant believe this! We are descendants of Abraham (Jewish) We are Born Free! Wrong! We are all born slaves to Sin and Death. The Bible is very clear that everyone has sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God (Romans 3:23)
Everyone needs Jesus! Everyone needs the salvation of his blood that he shed for our sin on the cross at Calvary! No exceptions! You will not inherit Heaven because of our good works or religion. Only the blood of Christ can set Your Free!
Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. A slave is not a permanent member of the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:34-36
When you continue to live in your sinful lifestyle, You are a slave! A slave has no permanent residence, but through Christ you can be a Child of God! A permanent member in the Kingdom of God, the Son Jesus , the Truth, the Life, the Way, will Set You Free! Amen!

Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman keeps awake in vain.
Psalms 127:1 NASB

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14
Happy Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) everyone! This is a time when we reflect and thank God for freeing us from the slavery of Sin and Death. Just as God saved the Jewish people from slavery in Egypt , he did the same for us at the cross through Christ
Jesus is the fulfillment of Sukkot, he made his dwelling/tabernacle among us! Many believe that Jesus was actually born during this time appointed holy time, which would make sense and explain his fulfillment
During the Exodus the Israelites faced many trials during there journey through the wilderness, however God always provided! The foreshadows of Christ were present throughout this journey
Exodus 16:4 Bread of Life
4Then the LORD said to Moses, “Behold, I will rain down bread from heaven for you. Each day the people are to go out and gather enough for that day. In this way I will test whether or not they will follow My instructions
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst. John 6:35
Exodus 17:4- Living Water
6Behold, I will stand there before you by the rock at Horeb; when you strike the rock, water will come out of it for the people to drink.”
Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.'” John 7:37-38
Jesus is our Bread of Life and Living Water, just as he fulfilled during their journey. Jesus even declared this during the celebration of Tabernacles in John 7
And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle (dwelling) of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, Revelation 21:3
Jesus is coming back, and hes going to make his permanent dwelling with us! Give praise to our Heavenly Father , the Holy Spirit, and our Lord Jesus Christ Amen!
What Jesus taught
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, Matthew 28:19
“All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you. John 16:15
What Peter taught
according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace be yours in the fullest measure. 1 Peter 1:2
What Paul taught
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. 2 Corinthians 13:14
Now I urge you, brethren, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God for me, Romans 15:30
There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. Ephesians 4:4-6
What Jude taught
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. Jude 1:20-21
What John taught
the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement 1 John 5:8
John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace, from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood—Revelation 1:4-5
For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
Many people would say that the Trinity was a man-made doctrine started by Constantine in around 300 A.D. However when you really study the Old Testament, you can see the Triune God is displayed throughout the scriptures.
This article I’m just going to be focusing on the prophecy from Isaiah. This prophecy was obviously written 700 years before Christ and about 1,000 years before Constantine, so this is not man-made doctrine
Everyone would agree this prophecy is revealing the Messiah (Jesus) will be born to save humanity. But lets analyze the titles given to Christ
Wonderful Counselor – I believe this reveals the Holy Spirit, notice when Jesus talks about the Holy Spirit in John 14:16 the original Greek word is Parakletos which means Counselor. The Holy Spirit is the Wonderful Counselor
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever. John 14:16
Eternal Father – It’s very clear that God (Yahweh) is our Heavenly Father. Throughout Jesus ministry he always addressed God as Father and him as his Son. It also tells us through Christ we become Children of God
But now, O LORD, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand. Isaiah 64:8
Prince of Peace – I think its obvious Jesus is the Prince of Peace. When Jesus was born, the angels announced Jesus would bring peace to the world. How? By his work done at the cross, defeating Sin and Death and reuniting us with the Father
Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased.” Luke 2:14
Mighty God – Finally we have the big title of “Mighty God” If you agree this prophecy is about Christ, then you would have to agree Jesus is God. We already know that the Father is God. Also add the Holy Spirit is God (Acts 5). Might God is the title shared among the Godhead (Father , Son, and Holy Spirit)
“Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: ‘I am the first and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me Isaiah 44:6
Interesting enough Jesus calls himself the First and Last also…also calls himself Redeemer
But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear. Isaiah 59:2
Sin separates us from God, if you want to know why your sin is a serious issue, this is the first issue. God is Holy and cant be in the sight of Sin. When we continue to live our life in sin and never change, we are separated from God
This is the issue the Jewish people had throughout the Old Testament, everytime God got close to them again, they would go back to their sinful ways. Christians seem to be ever more guilty of this. Because we live under Grace, many Christians don’t take Sin serious enough.
And He saw that there was no man, And was astonished that there was no one to intercede; Then His own arm brought salvation to Him, And His righteousness upheld Him. Isaiah 59:16
However because God loves us enough, he sent Jesus Christ (his own arm) to bring salvation (Jesus) to everyone who repents and believes in Christ.
Our Sin separated us from God, our sin was leading us to certain death. But because Jesus was willing to intercede for us, take the penalty for our sins, we can obtain salvation through Christ
Its only by the blood of Christ, we can come to the Father because alone we are not worthy Amen!
