Heart, Mind, and Soul

“If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it.” Genesis 4:7

Today we take a look at Cane and Abel, brothers that Satan tore apart to caused the first murder! Both brothers brought an offering before God; however God was pleased with Abel’s but not Cain’s? Why?

We have to remember God wants our heart, mind, and soul (Matthew 22:37) not just our presence, like quality over quantity. It says that Abel offered his first born sheep of his flock (Firstfruits), this was the best Abel had to offer and because of this God was pleased.  While Cain offered some random fruit from his garden, could have been leftovers or bad fruit, but it surely wasn’t his best, God rejected it!

God doesn’t really care what you are offering him, but what you are offering him should be the best you can provide from your heart. Cain was just going through the motions basically trying to trick God, but God reads our hearts, minds, and soul.

Now this rejection from God obviously upset Cain, and instead of him trying to do better, he became insanely jealous of his brother Abel.  As God said to him “sin is crouching at your door” meaning if you allow this jealousy and anger to manifest in you, it will grow into sin (James 1:15). That’s exactly what happened.

Instead of Cain, repenting, he allowed sin to grow into murder! (James 1:15) God wants us to love him with all our heart, mind, and soul (Matthew 22:37) , not just going through the motions!  Just like the 5 loaves and 2 fish, give God whatever you have and he will bless you in Jesus Name Amen!

Are You Ready? #Eclipse2017

“Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming. Matthew 24:42

Could the Great Eclipse be a sign of the Return of Christ? If Jesus came today would you be ready? Jesus clearly stated that nobody will know the day or hour of his return, however he did tell us to be ready for his return.

“There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, Luke 21:25

Jesus taught that God uses the heavens to give us signs, a giant billboard from Heaven. With all the attention and excitement generated for the Great Eclipse , could God be using this to get everyones attention? Even if Christ doesn’t return on Monday, their should still be a call to repentance. With all the violence and evil going on in this world, there is no better time than now to return to The Lord

“And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’ Matthew 7:23

If Jesus did return and you are standing face to face with the Holy One, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. What would he say to you? Would he say “Good work my faithful servant (Matthew 25:23) or will he say “Depart from me I never knew you! Lawlessness by Biblical definition is sin. Any sin is an act or rebellion against God.

Did you repent of your sins and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Time might be running out, you don’t want to be “Left Behind”, Jesus is your only way to salvation! Keep your lamps lit and eyes in the sky!

Arm of God

He has performed mighty deeds with his arm; he has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts. Luke 1:51

Who is the arm of God? When Mary received the Good News from the Angel Gabriel that she was chosen to give birth to The Messiah, she Glorified God with her song. The Arm of God is Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God in Flesh

See, the Sovereign LORD comes with power, and he rules with a mighty arm. See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him. Isaiah 40:10

Isaiah 40 prophesies about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, he is referenced as “The Mighty Arm of God’ among other things. When we understand this analogy, we then begin to understand The Trinity. As Jesus said “I and the Father are One” (John 10:30) He is the extension or branch of God in The Flesh. Jesus said he sits at the right hand of God (Mark 16:19) There is no greater power or authority than the right hand of God

When you understand this, you understand the importance of Jesus Christ coming to the world to save our sins. The Salvation of God sent in the Flesh, The Arm of God extended to the world to save it from our sins. Without our Messiah there is no Salvation, give praise and thanks to our Lord this season in Jesus Name Amen

Did God Reject Israel?

I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. Romans 11:1

There is a false doctrine that claims God has rejected Israel, not only is this simply not true but its Satanic. Israel will always be Gods children as he promised them in Genesis 12:3 “ I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you”

Paul addressed this issue, as he is a Jew also. Why would God use “Saul” who was named after King Saul, to spread the gospel of Christ if he has forsaken Israel? Why would God send Jesus as a Jew if he didn’t care anymore about the Jewish people.  Ant-Semitism is hatred towards the Jews, its used by Evil forces such as Nazi Germany and ISIS. Don’t believe this false doctrine.

God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don’t you know what Scripture says in the passage about Elijah–how he appealed to God against Israel: Romans 11:2

“Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me”?

And what was God’s answer to him? “I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” Romans 11:3-4

Paul teaches about the story of Elijah in 1 Kings, it appeared all of Israel had turned there back on God and was worshipping Baal. However as God told Elijah I have 7,000 other faithful Jews that are still worshipping me also.

Don’t believe that every Jew has rejected Jesus as the Messiah, there are many who already have and as prophesied in the Bible, all of Israel will eventually accept Jesus as there Lord and Savior.

So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace. Romans 11:5-6

Paul teaches us here, right now at this present time there is group of Jews already chosen by Grace. If you read the book of Revelations  who is standing with Jesus at the throne? It’s the twelve tribes of Israel not the 40,000 Christian denominations we have today.

Make no mistake about it, God called the nation of Israel his son, the Jews are his people and always will be. Only thru Christ are we circumcised at the heart and part of his nation also. God will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel, its your choice in Jesus Name Amen

America Needs Israel

And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Genesis 12:3

The meeting about to take place between Israel and America will  decide the fate of America. As God said any nation who stands with Israel will be protected by God but any nation that turns there back on Israel will be cursed.

What the world needs to understand is everything revolves around Israel. This was Gods Promised Land to the Jewish people and God will forever keep his covenant (Genesis 12:7). Why do you think most of the world hates Israel? Because the world has rebelled against God, America needs to decide now, stand with God or suffer the fate of other nations.

(Isaiah 9:10) “The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.”

I recently just finished reading the book called “The Harbinger” by Jonathan Cahn, I recommend everyone read it. This scripture from Isaiah not only predicted Israel’s fall but America as well. See Israel and America are two nations who were created to follow God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But both have departed from God and have suffered the consequences.

The scripture above reflects the downfall of both nations, deciding to rely on themselves instead of God. Even when disaster struck, instead of turning to God they turned to themselves for the solution. The message was sent, “America no longer need God”

It’s the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits and humbly to implore his protection and favor – George Washington

And wheras it is the duty of nations, as well as men, to own their independence upon the overruling power of God…and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord- Abraham Lincoln

We are never defeated until we give up on God- Ronald Reagan

America was a nation built on God, what is happening to America? It’s simple our entire nation has rebelled against God. They have removed God from government, schools, work places, ect. Therefore the guard is down, unless we return to God we will be a nation Godless and hopeless.

(Luke 1:33) “And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.”

Jesus will reign as King over Israel and the world forever, which mean Israel will exist forever. This is the promised covenant God made with Abraham and will endure forever. America doesn’t want to be Israel’s enemy. If we go against Israel we not only lose the favor of God, but will end up in ruins like their enemies. As God promised Israel “I will make your enemies your footstool”

This is a critical time in our nation’s history, our nation has been successful so far because we were a Nation Under God. America needs to wake up , return to God, support Israel, before it’s to late to turn it back around. I pray for this great nation in Jesus name Amen.

Countdown to Christmas Day 24

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14

God so loved the world he sent his only son, for the first time “Word became Flesh” as God lived thru Jesus here on Earth not only to save us but to show us how to have a relationship with our Heavenly Father.

(Colossians 1:15) “The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.”

But Jesus dwelt among the lowely and sinners, here to save us from our sins and not condemn us. He didn’t fit the description of what the Jews believed the Messiah would be, but he fulfilled all the prophecies and proved he is the King of Kings.

(Psalm 138:6) “Though the LORD is exalted, he looks kindly on the lowly; though lofty, he sees them from afar.”

And Jesus is the Glory of The Lord, however he was rejected by many and still is today. For Jesus is the true Messiah, the truth, the light, and the way. Anyone who believes and follows him will have eternal life.

(Hebrews 1:3) “The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.”

Immanuel, God is with us, the prophecy was fulfilled by Jesus Christ. He is the King of Kings who was born of the Virgin Mary and his Kingdom shall reign forever. Glory to God in the highest.

(Isaiah 7:14) “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.

Celebrate the Messiah, Glorify his name, God is with us. Remember to keep Christ in Christmas Amen

Countdown to Christmas Day 23

“‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.'” Matthew 2:6

God works in mysterious ways; for out of the little town of Bethlehem the King of Kings was born. This was probably a surprise not only to the world but also to Joseph and Mary.  Due to a census the Roman Empire was enforcing they reluctantly made the trip to Bethlehem. (Luke 2: 4-5) “And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David: be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.)

Although at the time they might have thought this was a setback this was actually a setup to fulfill  the Messiah prophecy’s from the Old Testament and also the Will of God. (Micah 5:2) “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.”

We know Jesus is the “Good Shepherd” the scripture refers to.(John 10:11) “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” He came not to condemn the world but to save it. (John3:17) As we know from the “Parable of the Lost Sheep” (Luke 15: 1-7) Jesus came to find and save us and then rejoice for our return. “I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.”

We are all lost sheep, vulnerable to the world and the predators that roam among us. Rejoice for our “Good Shepherd” has been born and sent to save us all. As Jesus said not only did he come to save us but he also laid down his life. Rejoice for our King is born Merry Christmas Amen

Countdown to Christmas Day 22

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. Luke 2:13-14

Notice Multitude host from heaven praising the birth of Jesus. Why is this? Because they know and understand the importance of his birth we all need to understand this also. This Christmas don’t just acknowledge the birth of Jesus, Praise him, and honor him, Glorify the name above all names.

(Hebrews 1:6) “And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.”

Why do all the angels of heaven bow down and worship Jesus? Because they know he is the King of King and Lord of Lords. Jesus is on the throne and reigns . Angels not only Glorify his name but also are commanded to protect him.

(Psalms 91:11) “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.”

As we know Jesus was called the “Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6) sent down to heaven no to condemn the world but save the world (John 3:17) What a glorious day the birth of Jesus is; a world full of violence and sin can finally be restored

(John 14:27) “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

But what did Jesus mean then in (Matthew 10:34) “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.”?  Is Jesus not the Prince of Peace? Then what did he mean by this?

We know Jesus didn’t literally mean he was going to use a sword, as we remember the time Peter struck the Roman Guard in the ear and was corrected by Jesus (Matthew 26:52) “Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.”

So we know Jesus is against violence but the war of good vs evil is real. Jesus saying he brought the sword mean he drew the line between good and evil. Either you’re going to follow Jesus to victory or follow Satan to death.  This battle line was clearly drawin in Genesis prophesying the birth of Jesus

(Genesis 3:15) “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”

So this Christmas let’s join the heavenly host and Glorify the birth of Jesus Christ our King. Keep Christ in Christmas and remember this is a sacred time of year Amen

Countdown to Christmas Day 21

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Probably the most famous scripture from the New Testament; however it sums up what Christmas is all about. It’s all about the arrival of Jesus Christ and granting us eternal life.

(Matthew 1:21)” And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.”

Think about all gifts everyone is buying each other this season; none of them can ever compare to the gift our Lord sent us in Jesus. Who can ever compare to our King Jesus?

(2 Corinthians 9:15) “Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

But do you really believe Jesus is the Messiah? Do you believe he is the Son of God? Do you believe he was born of the Virgin? Believe in your King Jesus Christ and you will have eternal life.

(Romans 10:9) “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

Is Christ living thru you? Do people see Jesus in you? This Christmas season not only should we keep Jesus first, but we can show people the love of Jesus thru us.

(Romans 8:11) “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

So everything you do and everything give this Christmas season, give the Glory to God

(1 Corinthians 10:31) “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”.

For everything comes from him and everything should be thanked for. Every light , every present, remember the birth of Jesus. Keep Christ in Christmas and your hearts and souls forver In Jesus name Amen

Countdown to Christmas Day 18

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Genesis 3:15

Notice this scripture says “her seed” how is this possible and who are they referring to? This prophecy is in reference to the Virgin Birth of Jesus thru Mary (Matthew 1:28) Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

We know Mary fulfilled this prophecy but why? Isn’t Jesus the seed of David? Yes and No. First we need to understand the Bloodline Curse God eventually put on Davids bloodline

(Jeremiah 22:28-30) “Is this man Coniah a despised broken idol? is he a vessel wherein isno pleasure? wherefore are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they know not?
O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD. Thus saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah.

Coniah was one of the last Kings from Davids bloodline, God became so angry with there transgressions he cursed Davids bloodline. Therefore Jesus needed to be born of Mary via the Holy Spirit to avoid the curse of Davids seed.

But what about Jesus fulfilling the prophecy of being from Davids bloodline. Well Joseph is from Davids bloodline. Because Jesus was born into Josephs household he registered Jesus as his son not an adopted son. Therefor Jesus is part of the David bloodline part of the Moses Law. Galatians confirms this

Galatians 4:5 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

The beginning of this scripture “ I (God) will put enmity between thee (Satan) and the woman (Mary) After Satan deceives Adam and Eve and caused the downfall of mankind, God declares war on Satan and already plans for the birth of Jesus to defeat him.

But the Good News is the War is already Won..Our Messiah Jesus was born and conquered death and Satan. Celebrate your King keep Christ in Christmas. Amen
