Fools Deny God

The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good. Psalm 14:1
Since it’s April Fools Day, I figured we would talk about fools. Why do fools say there is no God? Did God not present enough evidence to convince them? The truth is everyone knows there is a God, and he has clearly presented enough evidence for us all to believe.
(Romans 1:20) “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine nature–have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
Regardless of all the trouble in this world, when you take a minute and look around at the beautiful landscape of this world, nobody can deny its breath taking. To claim there is no God is claiming that everything in the world randomly happened and there is no intelligent design behind anything.
If this is true, you should be able to make me, for an example, a flower from scratch. You say you can’t do that? Why? If there’s no intelligence behind it then why is it not possible?
(1 Corinthians 1:18) “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”
Those who choose to deny God, will also deny the Power of the Cross. They will deny everything including there own soul. But why? Why do the fools say there is no God? Simple answer is Moral Accountability.
When you can convince yourself there is no God, then you can live life on your own terms. No rules, No morals, No accountability. The fool will say I am a good person, based on what standards? Is there anyone who believes there not a good person?
(Romans 1:22) “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,”
Fools claim to have higher knowledge than God, they fabricate unproven theories as truth to justify there lifestyle. When anything goes wrong in the world, they will blame everything on the God they claim doesn’t exist. And they will devout there entire life to trying to disprove him.
But in the end nothing is going to save them from death, except our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the truth, light, and only way. I pray they will accept him before it’s to late for only Fools Deny God In Jesus Name Amen

Love One Another

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. John 15:12

Gods commands us to Love one another as Christ has loved us. How did Jesus love us? He loved us enough to lay down his life for us. Do you love your neighbor enough to do that? Most of us won’t even say hello to our neighbor let alone lay down our life for them.

Why do we resist to love others? Because there is nothing in it for me? They hurt me? It’s easy for us to come up with reasons for hate but it’s not easy to Love one Another as God has commanded us.

(John 15:13) “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

The worlds view on Love are “feeling” people feel like there in love. But true love is much deeper than a feeling it’s action. When somebody truly loves you they will take care of you when you’re sick, lift you up when everyone pushes you down, stand by your side thru thick and thin.

No greater love was displayed than Jesus laid down his life for us at the Cross. You can question God on many things but you can’t question whether he loves you, there is no greater love than Jesus.

(Mark 12:30-31) “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

When Jesus was asked what are the greatest commandments , he answered Love God with all your heart and Love your Neighbor as yourself. Are you getting the pattern? Love , Love, Love..

Hatred is unacceptable to God and those who claim to be Christians and still hate are false and really don’t know God. Hatred is a cancer that will consume you and everyone around you, it will destroy live and not prosper them. I ask that we call unto Jesus to fill our hearts and souls to Love One Another as Jesus loved us Amen

Breath of Life

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.  Genesis 2:7

Life and Death, when does it begin and end? What separates us from the physical and spiritual world? The world believes life begins at conception but we know life begins when God breathes into us.  The “Breath of Life” comes from God. Life begins when God says it begins.

The Hebrew meaning for the word Spirit means Breathe also, so when we say God breathed on us, he’s sending us his Spirit.  No matter what happens to our physical body, our Spirit can’t be separated from God.

(Job 33:4) “The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life.”

Job was in a dark place, Satan had taken everything away from him including his family, but Job didn’t understand what was going on and assumed God was punishing him. Then a young man named Elihu, was filled with the Holy Spirit, and revealed this truth to Job.

Thru the “Breath of Life” God gives us life, no life can be giving without the Spirit of God. Man will continue to try and replicate life but all life comes from God.

(Acts 17:25) “And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.”

When Paul was teaching the Gospel of Jesus he came under heavy opposition, but Paul basically told them God doesn’t need our approval. He is the giver of life, God is the Breath of Life.

The world wants to debate Gods existence or the validity of Jesus Christ, God doesn’t need to prove anything. He spun stars and galaxies into space. He created the heavens and The Earth, and he created us from the dust and breathed life into us.

(Revelations 11:11) “But after the three and a half days the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them.”

During the Tribulation, The 2 Prophets of God who will be killed by Satan will then be resurrected by God. Notice is says “ The Breath of Life” entered into them.

This world we spend a lot of time trying to maintain our physical bodies to sustain life, but are you focusing on your Spiritual life? God gives us the “Breath of Life” and we can only sustain that thru our Lord Jesus Christ Amen

Palm Sunday

Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion! Shout, Daughter Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and victorious, lowly and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey. Zechariah 9:9

Palm Sunday is the celebration of Jesus entering Jerusalem as our King fulfilling the prophecy from Zechariah. Notice Jesus decided to ride a donkey instead of a horse, this was to show his humility and he is the “Prince of Peace”, many Jews were hoping for Jesus to wage war against Rome but God had a different plan.

During his arrival, everyone laid down palm branches, what did this symbolize? The palm branch in Roman culture symbolized victory. However the Palm branch was symbolic in Egyptian culture to symbolize eternal life. Both meanings are very fitting for Palm Sunday

(Matthew 21:9) “And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest”

Hosanna means “Please deliver us” or “I beg you to save”. Everyone was desperately waiting for coming of our Messiah; Jesus fulfilled the promise and prophesies. This is part of what makes Palm Sunday so special and spiritual.

(Psalm 118:26) “Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.

This is the Psalm the people sang while Jesus entered Jerusalem, everyone knew Jesus was the Son of God, the Messiah promised from the Old Testament scriptures.

So this Palm Sunday remember Jesus is coming again soon, lets rejoice and sing in anticipation of our Messiahs return in Jesus name Amen

Worthy is The Lamb

Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1

Your past was long time ago yet it keeps haunting you every day, but the good news is you’re free from the slavery of your sins thru the blood of the Lamb. You ask how can this be? By Jesus sacrifice on the cross he took the punishment for your sins.

Don’t live every day in shame of your past; you have been transformed by Christ. You old self has passed away, and you were reborn in the blood. It’s time to rejoice for your chains have been broken.

(Leviticus 17:11) “For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood thatmaketh an atonement for the soul.”

In order to understand why Jesus had to be sacrificed  on the cross, you need to understand the act of Atonement from the Old Testament.  To be cleansed of your sin before Jesus you needed to sacrifice  animals, but why did God require this?

The reason God wanted man to understand the seriousness of our sins. The wages of sin are death and separation from God. So the only way to redeem themselves for there sins, was to sacrifice an innocent life in their place.

(2 Corinthians 5:21) “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Jesus knew no sin and took our sins for us so we can be redeemed. He was the sacrificial lamb who was slain for you and me. Now that you understand this, you understand how much he loves you. He took the punishment for your sins, worthy is the Lamb.

(Revelations 5:12) Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

By the blood of the Lamb, we are redeemed, we are blessed, we are not condemned anymore. The chains of sin have been broken, sin and death have no hold on us anymore.

Worth is the Lamb , he is worthy of all our praise. Jesus has giving everything to you, it’s time for you to give everything to him also in Jesus name Amen

Lying Vanities

They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy. Jonah 2:8

God had a mission for Jonah, to save the city of Nineveh, but originally he refused and decided to go his own way.  But God works in mysterious ways and used a Whale to change Jonah’s mind.  How many of us try to create our own destiny, only to be thrown overboard like Jonah was? But if we put our trust in God and not “lying vanities” we won’t be forsaken, we will be fulfilled by completing our destiny

(Ecclesiastes 1:2-4) “Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity. What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun? One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.”

We go about our daily lives in the “Rat Race” running around trying to complete this and complete that, but when you take step back what is it all for? Don’t waste your life following “Lying Vanities” follow God and his plan for your life.

Our goal here in life should be to prepare people for eternity in Heaven. The only way to get there is thru Jesus. If we waste our time chasing after objects, there useless, and won’t save your life.

(Job 15:31) “Let not him that is deceived trust in vanity: for vanity shall be his recompence.”

Trust not in “Lying Vanities” but trust in God, your creator. Many people believe “vanities” such as money have power, security, and freedom. But money will not save your soul only lose it. Don’t be deceived by the world, you need God.

(Psalm 31:6) “I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD.”

How much does God hate idolatry?  Very much because our God is a jealous God (Exodus 34:14) Think of it this way, you’re a parent, your child who you love, decided to ignore you and follow someone else. Doesn’t that make you feel good as a parent? This is the same way God feels toward you, he wants you to love him because he loved you enough to give you life.

Its easy to get caught up in following “Lying Vanities” of this world, but don’t risk forsaking your own mercy, we worship an awesome God and he loves you. Follow him and fulfill your destiny in Jesus name Amen

A New Worilds

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:6

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000478005/article/exsteelers-lb-jason-worilds-shockingly-retires

With all the negativity the NFL has received over the past few years, here is one good story that has emerged. And no it’s not about Tim Tebow or Russell Wilson, his name is Jason Worilds. Although he might not be a household name, he has raised eye brows across the entire NFL and beyond.

Jason was scheduled to be a free agent this year, and was expected to get at least a guaranteed 10 million dollars, but he decided to retire at age 27 in the prime of his career to devout his time to his faith. Jason has become a Jehovah Witness and plans on dedicating his time to his denomination.

(Galatians 3:28) “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.”

Just for the record, I’m not a Jehovah Witness and I don’t agree with all there interpretations of the scriptures; however we are all brothers and sisters thru Jesus, so I support him and his fellow witnesses.

How many of us would be willing to walk away from millions of dollars to serve God? Might sound easy to do but if we are being honest in that situation probably would be a hard decision. I have a lot of respect for Jason’s dedication to serve God and walk away from the riches of this world.

(1 Corinthians 10:31) “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Most of us work a secular job, isn’t it harder to do everything for the glory of God when you’re working for corrupted corporations? To serve God truly without interference of this world is a dream come true.

Of course there will be many scoffers in the world that will criticize Jason’s decision and call him a fool. But in the end we are the ones who will have to stand before Jesus on judgment day, all the riches of the world won’t save you only Jesus. I praise Jasons decision and hope that many more including myself can take this bold leap of faith and server our Lord in Jesus name Amen.

More of You, Less of Me

He must increase, but I must decrease. John 3:30

John the Baptist, prophet who was born to pave the way for the coming of Jesus. A relentless preacher who warned people to confess their sins and baptize them in the Holy Spirit. But the day John baptized Jesus and the confirmation from God that Jesus is the true Messiah changed everything

John realized his ministry must exalt Jesus and not ourselves. How many modern day preachers keep exalting themselves? They post a scripture and print there face on it..Book signings glorifying there writings when there all based off the Word of God.

(Matthew 3:16-17) And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: “And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

God confirmed to John and all his followers, Jesus is the Son of God. This moment really kicked off Jesus ministry. At one moment we see the Trinity all come together. But notice even though Jesus is the Messiah he allowed John to baptize him. He is the Lamb of God, great show of true humility.

As John the Baptist said in (John 1:27)” He is the one who’s shoe latches I’m not worthy to unloose”  We must remember to exalt Jesus Christ because he is the King of King and Lord of Lords

(Isaiah 52:13) “See, my servant will act wisely; he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted.

As Isaiah prophesied Jesus was seen to the world as a servant, the poor carpenter boy, but really he was God in the flesh who came to redeem us all. The world knew him not.

Is Jesus the center of your life? Are you exalting him or doe you exalt yourself?

(Philippians 2:9) “Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,”

Jesus is the name above all names, sitting at the right hand of God, there is no other higher than him. He is the only begotten Son and nobody gets thru the Father without him.

Therefor we must increase Jesus Christ and decrease ourselves. The world needs to hear the good news of the gospel and not our own agendas. I pray we all increase and exalt our Lord Jesus Christ Amen.

All Hail Me

People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 2 Timothy 3:2

Yesterday I was at the mall and watched a young man walk out of a hair salon, within seconds of stepping out he pulled out his new Iphone and took a selfie, then started posting it online. We laugh because this is the new normal in today’s society, people obsessed with themselves.

Now I know we should love ourselves to a certain point, we are all Children of God. But when do we cross the line from liking ourselves to worshipping ourselves? Turn on TV everything is focused on self-improvement, look younger, Botox, wrinkle cream, hair dye, face lifts, breast enhancements, does anyone still look the way God made us?

(Ephesians 2:10) “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”

Ironically God calls us his “masterpiece” so why do we keep trying to change ourselves? Who is influencing your decision to change your looks? Who told you your nose isn’t perfect enough? What is wrong with gray hair? In the Bible gray hair is a sign of honor (Proverbs 16:31) “Gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is attained in the way of righteousness.

So who decided what is labeled beauty? Satan did. He has destroyed the self-esteem and beauty of Gods children. He knows how fragile the mind is and has deceived the world. Everyone goes around feeling ugly and defeated when really your God masterpiece and Victorious thru Jesus Christ.

(Proverbs 31:30) “Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.”

The world may worship those who follow Satan’s guidelines to beauty but those who follow God are the ones to be praised.  We need to keep this life in perspective, the world will fade away but God is forever. This is your temporary home , you are a Citizen of Heaven, don’t get caught up in Satans mind games.

Don’t listen to the world, you are Gods masterpiece, you are beautiful, strong, and most importantly Victorious thru the blood of Jesus Christ, no doctor can give you that fountain of youth. In Jesus name Amen.

Den of Thieves

And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. Matthew 21:13

When Jesus came to the Holy Temple, instead of finding a house of God, he found a Den of Thieves. Multiple people selling all kind of merchandise instead of respecting and honoring God.

How many of our churches these day have become a “Den of Thieves”? Is your church you attend today one? This has been one of the primary failures of religion, man continues to worship money instead of worshiping God.

(Matthew 26:13) “And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.”

Judas is probably the most notorious thief in history, a chosen disciple of Jesus, only to sell him out for 30 lousy pieces of silver. Judas had the opportunity of a lifetime to be in the inner circle of our Messiah, rather he followed his own lust for money, which he found couldn’t by him his own peace and ended up hanging himself.

How many false prophets and teachers nowadays are selling out Jesus for there own financial gain? We see them on TV and online everyday, bringing in millions of dollars to repeat scriptures that are in the Bible for free. It amazes me how far people are willing to go to make a buck, they believe they can even fool God, good luck with that.

(Jeremiah 7:11) “Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD.

As God told Jeremiah, he is watching all the churches and he knows all there perversions of the gospel. How foolish is it for these false prophets to believe they can rob Gods children and not go unpunished.

As Jesus said it will be easier for a camel to go thru the eye of a needle than a rich man pass thru heaven, why is that? Because at there very heart is the love of money and not the love of God.

(1 Corinthians 3:16) “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

When we accept Jesus as our Lord, we become the Temple of God. The spirit of God lives in us and we must make sure we don’t allow ourselves to become a “Den of Thieves” also. People should see Jesus living thru you and not the world. Jesus never wanted and never profited anything from the gospel.

As Jesus warned us of false prophets he also warned us about churches becoming Dens of Thieves, if this describes your church, get away from it, for God knows their corruption and they will be judged. Stay true to the real purpose of the gospel to lead people to Christ and not lead people to  fund your bank account in Jesus name Amen
