Walking In The Spirit

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Galatians 5:16-18

Becoming a Christian is not a free pass to sin, its not a get out of hell for free card. It’s a transformation from being the old man you once was to the new creature that you are today.

This transformation is not possible without the Holy Spirit, until you receive Jesus in your heart and not just in your mind, you will always live for the flesh

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21

Jesus told us how to identify false prophets and religions by the fruit they bear. Everyone bears fruit whether you believe in God or not, and its easy to distinguish between bad and good.

Pay attention to the last line of this scripture, anyone who continues to Walk in the Flesh will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.  Galatians 5:22-24

When someone is truly filled with the Holy Spirit there fruit they bear is easy to see. How many Christians display these fruits? If your Church is lacking these qualities, theres a good indication God is not really at your Church.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another Galatians 5:25-26

If your going to talk the talk then walk the walk, don’t say you follow Jesus and then walk with Satan. We live in the Spirit and we walk in The Spirit.

It’s only by the Grace and Mercy of Jesus Christ that made this all possible, you can be redeemed, you can be transformed, just give your life to Christ and Walk in The Spirit in Jesus Name Amen

Lions Den

Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God. Daniel 6:5

Daniel was a faithful follower of God, and the Pagan society knew this so they wanted to get rid of him for it.

So they made a law to ban praying to God for thirty days, they knew Daniel wouldn’t follow this law because he was faithful to God and not man.

Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God. Daniel 6:11

Daniel prayed to God three times a day his entire life, his enemy knew when he prayed and watched him so they could convict him our there pagan laws.

Just like today it was Politically Incorrect to pray to God, but Daniel didn’t worry about offending man and trusted God to deliver him

Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.Daniel 6:16

The King knew that Daniel would be delivered from the Lion’s Den, because they remember when God delivered the 3 wise men from the Fiery Furnace.

How much faith do you have in God? Would you continue to be obedient to God even if it meant your life? Or do you bow down to our Pagan Society out of fear and persecution?

My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt. Daniel 6:22

After a day the King checked out Daniel and found him unharmed. Daniel declared he was delivered by God because he is righteous before God and The King

When God delivers you do you declare his Glory before others? Would you be found innocent before God?

I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end. He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions. Daniel 6:26-27

The Pagan King was so impressed with the power and glory of God made a law that his Pagen Kingdom would fear and honor God. Because he knew that our God is the one true living God and ruler of the Heavens and The Earth.

Our Faith is being challenged today, just like in Daniels time, its politically incorrect to pray and talk about God. Just like Daniel, trust in the Lord, stay faithful and he will deliver you. And then your enemies will to declare God is the one true living God and his kingdom will not be destroyed in Jesus Name Amen

Crucified with Christ

“You are a Jew, yet you live like a Gentile and not like a Jew. How is it, then, that you force Gentiles to follow Jewish customs? Galatians 2:14

I find this a very interesting scripture, basically we could say we are a Christian but we live like a sinner, how is it? Obviously it can’t be. You either gave your life to Christ or you didn’t, God sees all, there is no hypocritical path

“We who are Jews by birth and not sinful Gentiles know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified. Galatians 2:15-16

We are nothing without Jesus, until people realize this they won’t worship our Lord properly. We are all sinners and can only be redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ, the perfect atoning sacrifice.

“But if, in seeking to be justified in Christ, we Jews find ourselves also among the sinners, doesn’t that mean that Christ promotes sin? Absolutely not! Galatians 2:17

Just because Jesus forgives sin doesn’t mean he promotes sin. For Jesus to promote sin then his sacrifice on the cross would have been pointless. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, the Law of God is in your heart.

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20

The same power that rose Jesus from the grave is living inside of us. We have become transformed by Jesus, our old selves died on that cross. We no longer live for the pleasures of this world but live to please God

I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!” Galatians 2:21
The Grace of Jesus is the greatest gift we could ever receive. Because of his Grace we are worthy to stand before God and enter his kingdom. Without Grace we are not worthy and could never become transformed on our own

We were Crucified with Christ and we Resurrected with Christ. Praise God every day for the Grace of our Lord in Jesus Name Amen

There Will Be A Day

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelations 21:4

The promise that Jesus delivered us that we hold on to, during hard times and suffering we know there will be a day when death and pain are no more. The corrupted world has passed away and God has restored paradise once again.

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. Revelations 21:5

Jesus is our King and he is sitting on the throne right now. All nations and governments rest on his shoulders, he will rule with a rod of iron. Gods Kingdom will once again be restored thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ who lowered himself below the angels to redeem us for our sins

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. Revelations 21:6

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word is Jesus Christ, the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus was here before Creation and he will be here to restore Creation. He makes a things new, get ready paradise is coming back.

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Revelations 21:7-8

Accept Jesus are your Lord and Savior and live forever in Gods Kingdom, no more death, no more pain, no more evil. But those who deny or oppose Jesus have no future.

Jesus is the Truth , Life , and The Way nobody comes to God except thru him. Give your life to him today and inherit eternal life in Gods Kingdom in Jesus Name Amen

Fiery Furnace

 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. Daniel 3:-6

King Nebuchadnezzar created a golden statue and he demanded everyone to bow down and worship this statue daily. Anyone who refused to worship would be burned alive in a Fiery Furnace.

There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. Daniel 3:12

The three Jewish wise men(Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego) refused to bow down to the statue because they worshipped the only true God our Heavenly Father. Who has commanded us to not worship any other God or false idols.

But if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands? Daniel 3:15

The King challenged God then and said if he is truly God then he will deliver you from the Fiery Furnace. Not only were these men bound with rope, King Nebuchadnezzar ordered the furnace made seven times hotter than usual, so hot it burned his own men alive who delivered the Jewish wise men to the Fiery Furnace

If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. Daniel 3:17

But Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego trusted in God, they will knew God would deliver them from the Fiery Furnace. How many of us have strong enough faith willing to put our lives in Gods hands?

He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. Daniel 3:25

This event is pretty amazing on many different levels, not only because the 3 wise men were not hurt at all, its says not even one strand of hair on there heads was burnt. But we see the appearance of the Son of God, who we know is only Jesus Christ.

This is not the only appearance of Jesus in the Old Testament, just shows you Jesus is the same today, yesterday, and forever.

Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God. Daniel 3:28

The Pagan King, confirmed with his own eyes that our Heavenly Father is the only true God and Jesus delivered them from the Fiery Furnace. How strong is your faith today? God is with you even in the Fiery Furnace in Jesus name Amen

Casting Out Demons

And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode inany house, but in the tombs. Luke 8:27

Jesus spent a good part of his ministry casting out demons, but how many churches today teach or even mention this? Why are our churches disabling Christians by not teaching them about the Spiritual Warfare we are all facing?

Yes its easier to pretend Satan and demons don’t exist; but know this they influence our world greater than you can imagine. Unless you acknowledge this and prepare yourself with the Armor of God, you are vulnerable also.

When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not. Luke 8:28

Demons tremble at the mention of Jesus, because there is power in his name. When your covered with the blood of Christ, you are protected. However leaving yourself open and vulnerable you can be overcome by evil.

(For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.) Luke 8:29

Jesus was giving all authority by God the Father, he sits at his right hand and on the throne. There is no power in hell that can overcome Jesus, if your under attack call out his name and he will set you free.

And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him. And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep.8:30-31

A couple of things learned here, first this man is not just possessed with one demon but multiple demons. Second they identify themselves as Legion, because there are a group of them. Third they beg Jesus not to send them to hell

There’s a lot to learn from this story, For our struggle is not against flesh but against the powers of the dark world (Ephesians 6:12) Don’t be left vulnerable, accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior today, by his blood you are redeemed and protected Amen

True Gospel

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. Galatians 1:6-7

There is only one true gospel of Jesus and that’s the gospel he delivered to us during his time here on Earth. There are believed to be about 40,000 different Christian denominations in the world today, how can this be when we all follow the same Christ?

This is why studying the Word of God is so important, not just because it gives us wisdom and strength, but it also lets us decipher the false religions from the True Gospel

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:8-9

Obviously since there are so many different Christian denominations then there must be many false religions. Many claiming to preach in Jesus name but are actually false prophets.

As God said let them be accursed, which means cursed. Theres a price to pay for preaching false religion and doctrine, as Jesus said what would it profit a man to gain the whole world but lose his soul?

For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. Galatians 1:10

Doesn’t this sum up Christianity today? The “Prosperity Gospel” being preached by millionaire pastors at there mega churches. They preach only what will please the masses but don’t preach the True Gospel. Hell, Sin, Demons, Rapture, and Tribulation. Topics even though there in the Bible you’ll never heard preach at today’s church.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:22-23
Just because someone preaches in Jesus name doesn’t mean there preaching True Gospel, Jesus knows the truth because Jesus is the truth. Anyone who thinks that can deceive him with your works on Earth will be sadly mistaken.

Learn your Bible, Pray without ceasing, welcome the Holy Spirit then you will know True Gospel in Jesus Name Amen

Holy Spirit You Are Welcome Here

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.  John 16:7

Jesus begins to teach us about the Holy Spirit, the comforter who he sent from Heaven to take his place as Jesus ascended to his throne next to God

There are many false religions who reject or ignore the Holy Spirit, but as Jesus said in (Matthew 12:32) “Anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit is an unforgivable sin”

And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. John 16:8-10

The Holy Spirit is our teacher, he helps us learn the truth and the truth is Jesus. Without the help of the Spirit many are misled by manmade doctrine that is not from God.

How do we know if the Spirit is from God? (1 John 4:2) tells us you know it’s the Holy Spirit if they confess Jesus became God in the Flesh (John 1:14)

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.  He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. John 16:12-13

The Holy Spirit will be your guide, he will not glorify himself but glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He provides 7 gifts that Paul teaches in (1 Corinthians 12)

One of the gifts is prophecy, he will show you things to come as they are already revealed in God’s Word.

And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. Matthew 12:32

Jesus warned whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit is unforgivable. Its unforgivable on Earth and in Heaven, this should be taken very seriously. The Holy Spirit was sent from God as your guide, teacher, comforter, and healer. Welcome the Holy Spirit into your life and watch God do amazing things in Jesus Name Amen

Weapons of Warfare

But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh 2 Corinthians 10:2-3

We are all in a war right now, its not just a war of the flesh but a Spiritual War. While Jesus came to save your soul, Satan wants to destroy your soul. There are greater forces for and against us that we can’t possibly understand. But if you stand with the Word of God, you accept the Blood of Jesus Christ, you will not be defeated.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds 2 Corinthians 10:4

What are our “Weapons of Warfare” that God has equipped us with to defeat Satan?

  • The Blood of Christ
  • Continual Prayer
  • The Word of God
  • The Holy Spirit
  • The Love of God
  • The Church

These are our Weapons, the question is are you using them? Or are you going defenseless in a dark world? That’s like a sheep going to the slaughter.

Jesus is sitting on the throne, he is sitting at the right hand of God. There is no power in this world that is greater. He has already overcome and defeated the world. Thru Christ living in you , you can overcome the world also.

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5

Just like in the Garden of Eden, Satan wants to exalt himself above God. Declaring his Word is false and there is no heaven and hell. But know this Satan is a liar and will be cast into the “Lake of Fire” for eternity. Jesus is the Truth, Life, and the Way nobody gets to Heaven without going thru him

And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. 2 Corinthians 10:6

We see a lot of ministers who talk the talk but don’t walk the walk. If you’re going to preach the Word of God then you must live the Word of God. Everyone wants to get to Heaven, but only those who are obedient to Gods will are worthy.

Be prepared for the Spiritual War, arm yourself with Gods “Weapons of Warfare”. Know who your enemy is because your enemy knows who you are in Jesus Name Amen

Arise! Shine!

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 2 Corinthians 4:8-9

There are days when we feel weak, defeated, attacked from every angle. However we need to remember our Lord Jesus defeated death. The world beat him and tortured him but he still rose from grave. No evil in this world can defeat the power of Jesus Christ

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Romans 8:11

And that same power that rose Jesus from the dead is living inside of you thru the Holy Spirit. Satan can’t defeat you as long as you stand with God. There is no power in hell greater than the power of God that spoke planets into existence and breathed life into dust.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4

Jesus has overcome the world, and because of that with the Holy Spirit , you can overcome the world also. There is no force of darkness in this world that can defeat us with Christ living inside us.

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. Isaiah 60:1

So why are you sitting there acting defeated? Why are you laying down and waiting for death? Arise! Shine! For the power of the living God is inside you!  With man it’s impossible but with God all things are possible! God won’t leave us or forsake us, but it’s up to you stand against the evils of this world

Put on your Armor of God and stand against the schemes of the devil, we call do all things thru Christ who give us strength in Jesus Name Amen
