Thank God

I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus 1 Corinthians 1:4

Do you remember to Thank God for everything he has already blessed you with? Many times people us prayer as a life line, but prayer should be a constant communication with God. That includes thanking him for all he has done and given you.

For in him you have been enriched in every way–with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge 1 Corinthians 1:5

All blessing come from God, there are no coincidences or random occurrences. True knowledge and wisdom can only be acquired by God thru the Holy Spirit, pray for this wisdom and it will be granted to you.

God thus confirming our testimony about Christ among you. Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. 1 Corinthians 1:6-7

While we eagerly await the return of Jesus, some may feel helpless or hopeless. But know that God has equipped us with the knowledge and strength to endure thru the Holy Spirit.

He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:8-9
Thru Jesus we have been redeemed and are worthy to stand before our Creator. God loved us all enough to sacrifice his son for our atonement. Its only by the blood of Jesus we are worthy.

Have you giving Thanks today to God for all he has giving you? Do you let him know how Thankful you are? If your not Thankful for what he has giving you already, why would you expect him to give you anything more? Praise him and Thank him in Jesus name Amen

Division

I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. Romans 16:17

Jesus said a house divided among itself will fail, we see division everywhere. Division in our families, our churches, our governments, ect. We must learn to remain united together, it’s the only way Satan wants to divide and conquer we must stand together

For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people. Romans 16:18

We must remember to do the will of God and not our will. There are many false religions and false prophets that seek to fulfill there own agendas and not to serve God. We can tell the false religions and prophets by the fruit they are producing.

Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I rejoice because of you; but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil. Romans 16:19

Your actions speak louder than words, if you are a disciple of Christ we need to act like it, everyone is watching you. You might be the only Bible many people ever read, be a good example for God.

The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. Romans 16:20

As predicted since the book of Genesis, Jesus will defeat Satan and destroy him forever. Stay strong during these times of tribulation. The Prince of Peace will sit on the throne and rule the world forever.

If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. Mark 3:24-25

When we are divided among ourselves, we cannot stand. Families need to stand together instead of getting divorced, Churches need to unite instead of arguing about what denomination is superior, our country needs to come together and return to God.

Many will say I’m naïve but I tell you what Jesus already told us, a house divided will not stand. It’s time to reunite in Jesus name Amen

One Another

We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. Romans 15:1

The world tells us only the strong survive, its dog eat dog. However we that are strong should help carry the weak. For the world is about selfishness but God is about love. Those who are first will be last and those who are last will be first.

Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up. For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.” Romans 15:2-3

As Iron Sharpens Iron, we need to build each other up. When you insult others you are insulting God, for we are his creation. Love others as Christ loves us.

For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope. Romans 15:4

The Bible is not just some historical documents, it’s the Word of God giving to us to teach us and give us wisdom. We learn lessons about our fellow brothers and sisters so we can apply those lessons to our own lives and hopefully learn from them.

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 15:5-6

Jesus broke down the barriers and walls of acceptance. He socialized and had mercy on people who were told they were hopeless. We need to continue his work. To love like Christ and press on to the prize of Heaven.

Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. Romans 15:7

Jesus died for us all, not just for the Jews, not just for Christians, but for all us all. Everyone has hope thru Jesus Christ.  If you haven’t, accept him today as your Lord and Savior. Thru his blood your sins can become washed away. He is the only way to heaven in Jesus Name Amen.

Do Not Judge

Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters.  One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them. Romans 14:1-3

One of the main problems with religion is we forget why Jesus came to this world. We have denomination arguing with denomination over who has superior knowledge of the Bible.  Everyone has a different journey or path to God, treat everyone with acceptance and kindness.

Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.  Romans 14:4

Judgement is not ours, we don’t have the authority to judge anyone. Furthermore anyone who does judge shall be subject to judgement themselves. Lead people to Christ, let him do the judging.

One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God. Romans 14:5-6

Jesus healed people on the Sabbath day, therefor the Jews believed he committed blasphemy. But as Jesus said the Sabbath day was made for us. We may all interpret scriptures differently, but God interprets your heart.

For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. Romans 14:7-8

When we accept Christ, we give our life to him. Everything we do should be for the Glory of God. None of our motives should be for our own selfishness or personal agendas.

For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living. You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. Romans 14:9-10

Thanks to Jesus he has giving us the gift of eternal life and all our hope is thru him. We will all stand before him one day face to face in judgement. Don’t judge others is not your right, let Jesus be the judge.

It is written: “‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.'” So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God. Romans 14:11-12

Will you bow before Jesus, The King of Kings? Will you  confess Jesus is Lord and Savior? Don’t reject Gods gift of redemption today in Jesus Name Amen

Armor of Light

And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed Romans 13:11

Jesus said his return will be like a thief in the night, nobody not even the angels in heaven, know the hour of his return. But are you ready if he returned right now? Are you prepared to stand face to face with the Son of God and account for your life? Many will say this will never happen, but the reality is your only a heartbeat away.

The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Romans 13:12

The world wants you to believe there is no tomorrow, so live it up while you can. But there is a tomorrow and its called eternity. Your life will determine how you will spend it.  It’s time to hold yourself accountable for your life, start preparing for Gods Kingdom.

Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. Romans 13:13

Sin is like a credit card, the purchase it temporary but the debt remains. The flesh is weak, therefor we must refrain from worldly traps. Walk the narrow path, its not a popular one but will save your life. What does it profit you to gain the whole world and lose your soul?

Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh. Romans 13:14

What would Jesus do? It was a popular slogan years ago, but it’s a great question.  Before we react or commit, stop yourself and ask WWJD? We should strive to live like Christ, he came to this world not only to save us, but to teach us how to be Children of God.

Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ Matthew 7:22-23

On your day of judgement, what will Jesus say to you? Will Jesus know who you are? If your not sure you need to develop your relationship with him, pray without ceasing, and follow his ways. Because he is the truth, the life, and the way in Jesus name Amen

The Greatest Commandment

Owe nothing to anyone–except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law. Romans 13:8

Jesus said the greatest commandments are to love God with all our hearts and love your neighbor as yourself.  Sounds simple but yet the world is full of hatred and violence. Imagine a world if everyone did love each other as themselves?  Remember God is love, so when you look at the world with loving eyes, you look at the world thru Gods eyes, the way it was mean to be.

The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Romans 13:9

All the commandments of the Bible can be fulfilled by following one commandment. Think about it if you truly loved your neighbor would you want to harm them or victimize them? No, the same goes for yourself. You don’t want anyone harming you or your family. If you treat people with the mutual respect that you wish to be treated, everyone can live together peacefully. Love is the cure to all problems.

Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. Romans 13:10

Why is it so difficult for the world to love one another? The answer is so simple yet nobody is willing to do it. The reason is selfishness, all sin is caused by selfishness. People refuse to love one another for reason of greed, envy, lust, and pride. If people learned to be more like Jesus, and think less about themselves and more about other people, then world peace would be possible.

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew  22:37-40

If you can’t love, you can’t follow God, its as simple as that. The first thing we need to do as Christians, is have a “heart transplant”. When you accept Christ, remove all the hatred, bitterness, jealousy, ect from your heart. When you open your heart, then you will truly understand God and his ways.

Some people still are not going to like you, and some people are still going to do you wrong. Pay them no mind, fix your eyes on God and let them have to answer for there actions in Jesus name Amen.

Forgiveness

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Romans 12:14

As Jesus was dying on the cross, he said “Father forgive them, for they do not know what there doing. “ In a world that seeks revenge, we need to forgive and allow God to be the vindicator.

Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn Romans 12:15

Jesus said “Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted” When people are mourning we need to be there for them during there time of need.  For those who rejoice, you should rejoice with them for this is the day The Lord has made.

Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. Romans 12:16

Jesus interacted with sinners, with lepers, and Samaritans. This was all forbidden by Jews back then, he showed us how to live with grace and mercy.

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Romans 12:17-18

Jesus said “Blessed are the Peacemakes for they will be called Children of God” One mans sin doesn’t justify another mans sin.  The blind will lead the blind into the ditch.

Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. Romans 12:19

Judgement is not ours, let go and let God take control. Usually we make a bigger mess when we try to seek revenge.

On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:20-21

“Kill them with Kindness” is a term we heard before and has some truth to it. When you are kind to your enemies, it’s a response they don’t want.  Never allow someone to bully you into a fight, as it says in Proverbs “A fool is quick to quarrel” be slow to anger and quick to forgive.

Forgiveness is not weakness, it empowers you to release the control your enemy has over you. When you forgive them, you are moving on and letting God take over. Don’t imprison yourself with hatred, break the chains in Jesus Name Amen

Living Sacrifices

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God–this is your true and proper worship. Romans 12:1
As Jesus said your body is the temple of God, because the Spirit of God is living in you. We must try to keep Gods temple Holy, refrain from sin. We must follow the ways of Jesus and not our ways.
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2
Are you going to follow Jesus or follow the world? You can’t do both, for the world is ruled by the wicked one. When you become a Christian you become transformed, your old self passes away and you new self is born.
For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. Romans 12:3
Humility is key to understanding God, a proud heart will lead to your destruction. Confess your sins and humble yourself before God.
For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. Romans 12: 4-5
The Church is a body made up of many parts. One part is not more important than the other, but together complete the body. The foot is not greater than the hand, and vice versa. But if one part is removed the body struggles and so does The Church.
We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully. Romans 12: 6-8
God has blessed as all with different talents and gifts, its important we use those gifts to serve him. Jesus told the parable of the sower, and when our time comes he will ask us, what did we do with our talents? Did we use them or lazily discard them?
God made you for a purpose and blessed you with talents, seek his will and your reward will be great in Heaven in Jesus name Amen

Nothing Can Separate Us From His Love

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?  Romans 8:35

Is there anything or anyone in your life that separates you from Jesus? When you’re faced with difficult times do you reach out to God or curse him? It’s easy to be a Christian when everything is life is going well, but when the storms of life hit, that’s when the true test is found whether you pull closer to God or move farther away.

As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Romans 8:36-37

Jesus never said it was going to be an easy life, in fact he said The world will hate you because of him. Satan knows we are peaceful at heart therefor make easy targets for his attacks, however because Jesus conquered death, nobody can defeat you. There is no force in the universe more powerful than God and he lives inside of you.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

Nothing can separate you from God, except yourself.  When Jesus said “It Is Finished” he defeated Satan, he defeated the world, and most importantly he defeated death. Because of his atonement you can’t be separated from God.

However you need to accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. He gave his life for you so you can live forever, will you give your life to him? Just say this prayer out loud:

Heavenly Father, I confess my sins, I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, have mercy upon me. Pour your Holy Spirit upon me and make me new again in Jesus Name Amen

According to His Purpose

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8: 28

Many are called but few are chosen, when you answer Gods call he is on your side.  The greatest force in the universe that breathes life into dust and speaks galaxies into existence.  You might not see a way but God has a way, trust in him

For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. Romans 8:29-30

God sent his only begotten Son for us to follow and worship. When the world sees you, they should see Jesus staring back at them. Greater is he than he who is living in the world. Thru Jesus Christ we are justified and worthy to be called Children of God

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31

There is no one who can stand against God, don’t fear those who can kill the body, fear the one who can kill the body and soul in hell.  The blood shed of the innocent will not go unpunished, God will judge accordingly.

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all–how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?   Romans 8: 32

God loves us enough to sacrifice his only begotten Son, what more can he give you? He has giving you a second chance at life, there is no greater gift, there is no greater love.

Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died–more than that, who was raised to life–is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Romans 8: 33-34

Jesus didn’t come to condemn the world but to save the world. Judgement is not ours, Jesus is the only one worthy of passing down judgement. And he loves you enough to give his life for you, are you willing to give your life to him? In Jesus Name Amen
