Spiritual Warfare

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12

Turning on the news this morning I was in shock and horror as probably most of you. But what made it worse was my 7 year old happened to see the news also, and broke down crying in fear of his life also. Even though we live far away from the tragedy, the reality is real we are all against an evil force that is not human but demonic

Many people want to deny Gods existence, they deny the existence of angels or demons, they even deny the existence of your own soul. But they can’t explain what drives humans to do unthinkable acts of evil which only purpose is to kill and destroy life

Everyone needs to come to the realization we are in a Spiritual Warfare. The struggle is real, God wants to save your soul and Satan wants to destroy it. The question is which side will you chose? Many people get caught in the crossfire or become casualties of this war.

But as Jesus said “Don’t fear the one who can kill the body, fear the one who can destroy the body and soul (Matthew 10:28 ) Meaning Satan can torture us , sometimes he might even take our life. But our soul belongs to Jesus Christ and if your covered by his blood, nobody can destroy your soul.

There is only one hope to this Spiritual Warfare and its Jesus Christ, choose Christ and choose eternal life in Jesus Name  Amen

Faith Is Hope

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1

Throughout The Bible God talks a lot about having faith, but what does that truly mean? Jesus said if you had faith the size of a mustard seed we can move mountains (Matthew 17:20) So is this literal or symbolic? Throughout The Bible and through our own lives we have seen how our faith has moved mountains.

For example when Moses came to the Red Sea, did it just part because he believed in God or did he display his faith first? He displayed his faith first by raising his staff to God, this activated Gods miracle. You see we can tell people we have faith, but if we never display that faith, is it true?

Its like that old saying “If a tree falls in a forest and nobody hears it does it make a sound”, if you never display your faith in God, how does anyone know or even yourself know you truly have faith. Faith is when we are tested and thrown into the fire (so to speak)

Just as the Hebrew men were thrown into the fiery furnace because they refused to bow down to a false god, they displayed their faith and God delivered them. Did these men know for sure what would happen? No but its faith that is the confidence in what we hope for!

When we truly have faith, we have the confidence in Gods will, we put it in his hands and say “Let your will be done in Jesus Name Amen

Set Free

As for you, because of the blood of my covenant with you, I will free your prisoners from the waterless pit. Zechariah 9:11

Just as God promised and redeemed the Jewish people from slavery of Egypt, God has delivered us from our slavery to sin and death, through the new covenant of the blood of Jesus Christ

Its simple without the covenant of God, we are prisoners or slaves to sin and death. Its only by the blood of Jesus Christ than we can be set free. Many people believe they are free, they believe they are “free-thinkers” and don’t need God. But what they fail to realize is the wages of our sins is death, only Christ can set us free

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36

Many will say “I don’t believe in God therefor I’m not under the Law”, just because you don’t believe in something doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. You may not agree with all the laws we have in our society today, but if you break one you will pay the consequences.

God has made it clear that the evidence of his existence is clearly seen all around us and we are without excuse! (Romans 1:20) So do you want to be set free or do you want to remain a prisoner? Come to Christ, repent of your sins, and he can set you free in Jesus Name Amen!

License To Sin?

If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, Hebrews 10:26

Does Grace give us a license to sin? One topic that is always debated in Christianity is about Grace and Sin. As we know by Grace from God through Jesus Christ we are saved from our sins. When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, not only has your debt been paid but your are no longer under The Law , which equals death.

However many misunderstand this concept as promoting the justification of sin. This is absolutely not true. If you truly accept Jesus and repented of your sins, you become a New Creature. Your old self has died on the cross also, and your New Self has been resurrected with Christ. If you continue to keep sinning after this, you truly have not accepted Jesus as your Lord or Master.

If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Galatians 5:25

You can’t be living by the Holy Spirit and holding hands with Satan. You either are saved or you’re not. Sin is repulsive to God and if your truly saved it should be repulsive to you also. Do we still follow The Law? Yes absolutely, because its Gods blueprint of morality. If we didn’t have The Law, we wouldn’t know what sin was. However we are not Under The Law because we have been freed through Jesus Christ.

Once you have received the knowledge of truth , through Jesus Christ, there is no turning back. If we deliberately sin after Grace, there is no more hope for us. Because just like the Fallen Angels , you have accept the pleasure of sin over the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Live by The Holy Spirit and you will be able to walk righteous by the Holy Spirit in Jesus Name Amen

Relationship with God

“‘When I called, they did not listen; so when they called, I would not listen,’ says the LORD Almighty.
Zechariah 7:13

How many of us treat God like a life line? Whenever we are in trouble or distress we call out to God to save us. But when things are going good, we usually don’t thank him or even acknowledge him. This is the same relationship God had with the Jewish people. When he called out to them, they wouldn’t listen so when the time came when they cried out to God, he stopped listening also.

Many of us don’t see God as a relationship but he is. Through Jesus Christ we can have a personal relationship with God. As many of us probably know a relationship requires both people to be open and honest with one another and communicate!

Usually when a marriage or friendship is going bad, that’s when communication or trust has broken down. This is the same with our relationship with God. Maybe you’re wondering why God seems so distant or not hearing you, maybe you have been distant and not hearing him. A relationship requires work, communication, honesty, and sacrifice!

So throughout your day , give praise to God through prayer! Cast your cares and concerns upon him! Let him know whats going on in your mind! Jesus has given us the way to God the Father, call upon him daily in Jesus name Amen!

Wait For Him

so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
Hebrews 9:28

We hear of many descriptions of Christ such as The Lamb and Lion. The first time Jesus came to Earth, he was the Lamb of God, a perfect sacrifice to take the wages of the sin of the world. But when Jesus returns, he will be on a different mission. He will be returning as The Lion of Judah, to bring judgement to those who have rejected him and establish Gods eternal Kingdom.

Notice the scripture here says “ To bring salvation to those what are waiting for him”, are you waiting for the return of Jesus Christ? It may sound cliché or a topic over done. But its important to be prepared for the great “Day of The Lord”, when every eye will see him coming in the clouds, those who rejected him are mourning because time is up!

With all the trouble and turmoil in this world, do you really want this to be your permanent home? A world we live in where you have to be afraid to allow your child to play down the street, where nation has risen against nation, where natural disasters have become the new normal weather forcast.

Time is running out, get yourself ready for the return of Jesus Christ! Clean your hearts and minds through the blood of Jesus Christ, who has taken the sins away of all who believe in him. Wait for him and the salvation of God is promised in Jesus Name Amen!
