I’m glad you posted this brother, and it’s been in my mind lately. I have felt for a long time that once saved (if truly saved) you are always saved. I’m studying the following scripture:
““I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.”
John 15:1-2 ESV
If one can only be in the vine as a branch if we are saved, the scripture tells use that the Father removes the branches that don’t produce fruit. So my belief that once saved is always saved is not valid. What are your thoughts?
