Praise God he accepted Jesus Christ!
“In all this, they are surprised that you do not run with them in the same excesses of debauchery, and they slander you” (1 Peter 4:4).
As I listened to his testimony it also came to my mind what a big test this is to see if your faith is genuine or not. To see if you’ll stick to your guns in your faith in Jesus Christ or if you’ll turn back to your former ways. To see if you’re a God pleaser of a man pleaser (e.g., Galatians 1:10).
“If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—such a person cannot be my disciple” (Luke 14:26).
May some of his friends, relatives, and family turn to Jesus because of his conversion,
“Do you think that I have come to bring peace to the earth? No, I tell you, but division. From now on, five in one household will be divided, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law” (Luke 12:51-53).
