Matthew 18- The Wrath of Christ

But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! Matthew 18:6-7

Satan’s primary target is children, we see this especially in todays society, abortion, LGBTQ movement, pornography, drugs, ect these are all agendas and sin meant to corrupt children. While Satan is out to attack our Children, Jesus wants to protect them, Christ said “Whoever offends one of these little ones , it would be better to have a millstone hanged on their neck and drowned in the ocean” Anyone who targets children will have a greater judgment by Jesus Christ, the King of Kings

Now I know , many will bring up all the pedophiles throughout the “Church”, obviously these people were evil and will experience a great judgment in Hell. We need to be careful of these wolves in sheep’s clothing (Matthew 7) Just because an organization calls themselves a “Church” or a person has the title of Pastor or Priest, doesn’t mean they are a true Born Again Christian, they will be known by their fruits (Matthew 7). Satan plants many wicked people throughout the Church to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10)

Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire. Matthew 18:8-9

Jesus taught more about Hell than Heaven, here we see one of Christs strongest teachings of Hell. Now of course Jesus is using hyperbole here and not being literal to give greater emphasis on the warnings of Hell. If there is a sin in your life, its better to cut it out of your life now, then to be thrown into Hell Fire for all eternity, this is the core of this teaching

Notice the words of Christ here “cast into everlasting fire” and “cast into Hell Fire” these are strong warnings from Jesus, but how many people still today love their sin more than they love God or eternal life? The message is clear sin will not go unpunished, don’t believe you can live in sin without consequences, the wages of sin is death but eternal life is through Jesus Christ (Romans 3:23)

Anyone who targets children, will receive the wrath of Christ, and anyone who doesn’t repent of their sins and become Born Again, will not see the Kingdom of God (John 3:3, Acts 2:38-39) Amen!
