And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Genesis 3:15

The very first prophecy of the coming of the Christ (Messiah) was here in Genesis. When sin has entered into the world, causing death and suffering, God already had his redemption plan. This began the war between God and Satan, you are part of that war whether you want to believe it or not. You will either be victors through Jesus Christ or another casualty of Satan

The word enmity means hostility, this is why the world is Anti-Christ. Satan is ruler of this current world (Ephesians 2, John 12) Satan hates Jesus because he is ultimately under his authority. That’s why this world will never be truly accepting of the pure gospel or the Holy Spirit

The Seed mentioned here is Jesus Christ, God becoming flesh (John 1:14) to save us from our sins. However the way Jesus defeated Satan and death was unexpected. The prophecy of Isaiah 53 was missed by many, and therefor when the Christ came to Earth, they knew him not

But that Seed, the Christ (Messiah) fulfilled all things. He paid the penalty for our sins and overcame the grave! Satan is now powerless to those who are Born Again in Christ. We have overcome Sin and Death by the blood of Jesus Christ.

Furthermore The Holy Spirit was sent  and now lives inside the Born Again believers. The same power that resurrected Christ from the grave is now living and breathing inside his Sheep. While the enmity continues today against Christ and his followers, Satan knows he has been defeated at the cross and his days are numbered

This is a spiritual war we are in, without the Armor of God, you will be devoured by the roaring lion Satan. Get Born Again and filled with the Holy Spirit in Jesus Name Amen!
