Gods Mercy

At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. Titus 3:3

It’s important for us to lead people to Christ and not be a road block. Some people might be living a lifestyle that is unacceptable to God, but we are not the judge. Jesus is the ultimate judge and has been granted all authority by God. It’s our job to spread the Good News of Hope and Mercy, not condemnation because we would then be condemning ourselves.

But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit   Titus 3:4-5

The grace and mercy of Jesus Christ is not something we are worthy of, but he gave it to us anyway because God loves us and wants us to be his children. We can’t earn righteousness, it can only be given to us thru Jesus Christ.

Whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:6-7

God has poured out his Holy Spirit upon us, the same power that rose Jesus from the grave is living inside of us. God is with you thru his Spirit, that will guide, comfort, and empower you to do all things thru Christ.

This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone. Titus 3:8

Once we receive Gods grace thru Jesus Christ, it’s important we devote ourselves to staying righteous. What does it profit to gain the whole world and lose your soul? Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and receive his amazing grace, then let God pour his Holy Spirit upon you. So you can fight the good fight in Jesus Name Amen

New Every Morning

Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.  Lamentations 3:22-23

Because of Jesus Christ we are not consumed, through his grace and mercy we are renewed. When Jesus said “It Is Finished” on the cross, he said Satan was finished, death was finished, because Gods love never fails.

So if you’re in a bad season, take hope in knowing tomorrow is not only a new day, but a new beginning. A beginning of grace, hope, mercy, and love that only you’re Heavenly Father could provide.

I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him. The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; Lamentations 3:24-25

We live in a fast paced world, where everyone wants everything right now. But Gods timing in not our timing and we need to learn patience and obedience. Through these trials we may suffer but it will allow our faith to grow stronger in The Lord. Keep seeking God and you will find him, knock on the door and he will open.

it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD. It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is young. Let him sit alone in silence, for the LORD has laid it on him. Lamentations 3:26-28

The sooner we realize God is in control and not us, the less hardship we would have to endure. Unfortunately we usually learn the hard way and become a prodigal. This is why it’s important to teach our Children about our Heavenly Father and about our Savior Jesus.

So don’t end a day full of defeat and sorrow, rejoice for tomorrow is a new beginning, Gods love never fails. This is the day The Lord has made in Jesus Name Amen

 

 

Lamb of God

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! John 1:29

Why is Jesus referred to as The Lamb of God? To fully understand this you need to understand The Old Testament. God required a sacrificial lamb for peoples sins. But not just any lamb, but a lamb that was pure and unblemished.

Jesus is that sacrificial lamb for us all, even though he was sinless, he took our sins to the cross so we could become righteous to stand before God. When you understand this, you understand how much God truly loves you.

This is the one I meant when I said, ‘A man who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me. I myself did not know him, but the reason I came baptizing with water was that he might be revealed to Israel.” John 1:30-31

God sent John the Baptist here to be a messenger, to pave the way for The Lord. John prepared everyone by telling everyone to confess their sins and become baptized. John brought to light the issue of sin, that is what has separated us from God.

When people realize the seriousness of sin and confess that we are all sinners and have fallen short to the glory of God. Then you understand what Jesus has done for us and why he did it for us. Without Jesus there is no hope or salvation for humanity.

Then John gave this testimony: “I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him. John 1:32

John was one of the many witnesses who saw the Holy Spirit descend down on Jesus, this event was described in greater detail in the other gospels. Once again John has fulfilled his role as the messanger and a witness to our Messiah Jesus.

And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ I have seen and I testify that this is God’s Chosen One.” John 1:33-34

Even though Jesus walked among us, many never recognized him. The King of Kings lowered himself below the angels to save our souls. John testifies Jesus is The Son of God, as he heard God himself declare this from the Heavens. Worth is The Lamb of God in Jesus Name Amen

 

Rich Toward God

Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.” Luke 12:15

This world has made money a God and not even realized it. Think about your daily activities and motives, are they not mostly based around making money? The problem is we base our happiness and expectations of life around money instead of God.

If we just had more money then we would be happy, if we just had a new house that would fix our family problems. But this simply is not true, unless you make Jesus the center of your life you will never be satisfied or peaceful.

And he told them this parable: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest. He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’ “Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain. And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”‘ “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’ Luke 12:16-20

This parable shows the motives behind greed, which we are probably all guilty to some aspect. Many of us have enough to sustain ourselves but we always want more. Instead of sharing the abundance we have with the poor, we store it up so we can live like Kings and Queens.

But we need to remember everything in this world is temporary. Don’t waste your time building on the sand build your life on the rock thru Jesus Christ.

 

“This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.” Luke 12:21

I would rather be rich toward God than rich in this world. Money is only green paper, it may make you popular temporarily but it can’t save your soul. There is only who can save and that is Jesus, the Truth, Life and The Way. Don’t put your trust in Money put your Trust in The Lord In Jesus Name Amen

 

Rahabs Promise

Then Joshua son of Nun secretly sent two spies from Shittim. “Go, look over the land,” he said, “especially Jericho.” So they went and entered the house of a prostitute named Rahab and stayed there. Joshua 2:1

Rahab was probably the last person anyone would have picked to do Gods work, but God works in mysterious ways. When we put our trust in God, all things are possible, even for a prostitute.

Maybe you feel like today, God is done with you. That you couldn’t possibly do anything great for The Lord. Understand this story, God took a prostitute and made her righteous.  God is not finished with you either, don’t give up on him.

When we heard of it, our hearts melted in fear and everyone’s courage failed because of you, for the LORD your God is God in heaven above and on the earth below. Joshua 2:11

Rahab knew of the awesome works God has done, including parting Red Sea. So she humbled herself and submitted to God and did his will. Most people would have probably ignored or mocked God, but her obedience saved her and her family’s life.

Now then, please swear to me by the LORD that you will show kindness to my family, because I have shown kindness to you. Give me a sure sign that you will spare the lives of my father and mother, my brothers and sisters, and all who belong to them–and that you will save us from death.” Joshua 2:12-13

Our God is a just God, and he did show kindness and mercy to Rahab and her family. Did God really need to? No of course not, God doesn’t need us we need God.  When we take that leap of faith, God will show us mercy, the same mercy he showed Rahab and her family.

 In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction? James 2:25

A prostitute’s single act of kindness was remembered forever, don’t think that any good deed is small or meaningless. You could be somebodys miracle today, God hasn’t giving up on you because of the Grace we have been giving thru Jesus Christ. Lift your heads weary sinners and see what God can do today in Jesus Name Amen

The Lord Will Rescue Me

At my first defense, no one came to my support, but everyone deserted me. May it not be held against them. 2 Timothy 4:16

Paul, who was a pioneer for Christianity, who wrote over half of the New Testament, was abandoned by everyone when times get tough. Even though Paul helped build many Christian Churches throughout the world and lead many Gentiles to God thru Christ, however there were still many who hated him because simply he was a servant for Jesus Christ. As Jesus told us they will hate you because of him.

How many of us can relate to this today? When you enter a season of struggle, does your Church support or desert you? Stay in faith just like Paul did, as he did not want this held against them.

But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. And I was delivered from the lion’s mouth. 2 Timothy 4:17

But Paul had comfort knowing that Jesus would not leave him or forsake him. That we can do all things through Christ that gives us strength. You are never alone or abandoned. God is with you, and if God is for you who can be against you?

The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen. 2 Timothy 4:18

Paul declares Victory thru Christ from his enemies. Remember Faith is what activates Gods power. Are you declaring Victory today? You have not been deserted of defeated, God is with You in Jesus Name Amen
