Show Us God

Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father ‘? John 14:9

Philip says to Jesus “Show us the Father” meaning “Show us God”! Jesus is amazed , Philip has been with him for over 3 years and he still doesn’t get it. Even after all the miracles Jesus performed, and all the references he made to past revelations of God such as , Great I AM, Living Water, Bread of Life, these guys still are not getting it!

Even today , many Christians are still not getting it. Even after all the Revelation we have about Jesus, after all the prophecies Jesus fulfilled, after all the power Jesus has displayed, many just don’t understand his deity.

If you want to see God, Look at Jesus! If you want to know the will of God, Look at Jesus!

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. Colossians 1:15

Paul also describes Jesus as the image of the Invisible God! But what does Paul mean by “Firstborn of all Creation”? Is Paul saying Jesus was created by God? No, Paul is referring to the Resurrection of Christ! Because Jesus has defeated death and was resurrected on the 3rd day, he is the first fruits, the first born of all Creation!

Because of Christ we can live eternally with God, because of Christ we can now see God and have a relationship with Him Amen!

What Did Jesus and Apostles Teach about Trinity?

What Jesus taught

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, Matthew 28:19

“All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you. John 16:15

What Peter taught

according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace be yours in the fullest measure. 1 Peter 1:2

What Paul taught

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. 2 Corinthians 13:14

Now I urge you, brethren, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God for me, Romans 15:30

There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. Ephesians 4:4-6

What Jude taught

But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. Jude 1:20-21

What John taught

the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement 1 John 5:8

John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace, from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood—Revelation 1:4-5

Together As One

Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me, but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. John 10:25-26

Jesus was once again being attacked for being The Messiah. Many refused to believe or accept Jesus because they would rather accept their religion and rituals.

This is still true today, many still deny Jesus as Christ even though he rose from the grave and conquered death. But us that do listen know he is The Good Shepherd and we are his sheep.

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. John 10:27-28

Jesus cares for us just like a Shepherd cares for their flock. When we obey his commands and follow him we are giving the gift of eternal life.

But there are wolves out there looking to devour us, we must be careful and who are following and listening to. As we are instructed by God to “Test the Spirits”

My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.  I and the Father are one.” John 10:29-30

Again here Jesus identifies the Trinity as He and God are one. If God is for us, who can than be against us? Our God is an awesome God, he is the creator of The Heavens and The Earth, just in your Father, follow Jesus and you will have eternal life.

Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?” John 10:31-32

But even after all the miracles and great works Jesus had performed in the name of God, they still chose to kill him. The only one who can give us eternal life, had his life taking away by for your sins.

Which are you today? Are you one of Jesus sheep listening to his voice or are you a wolf looking to devour? Some might say I’m neither, this isn’t true. If you only follow yourself this is self-worship, which is the core beliefs of Satan. There is only way to eternal life, there is only one way to The Father and its in Jesus Name Amen

Trinity

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

There are many false teachings that the Trinity is false doctrine. But as you read the above passages, Jesus commanded us to baptize in the name of the Father, Son , and Holy Spirit, he didn’t just ask us to. As it says before that Jesus has been giving all authority, if you want to reject the Trinity I suggest you take it up with Jesus.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. John 1:1-3

Some of the most powerful scriptures are in John 1, it clearly reveals the Trinity, as God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit are one.  This scripture is so revealing that there are religions and versions of Bibles that altered this scripture to disprove the Trinity. Jesus is the truth and those who seek the truth shall find it.

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.1 John 5:7-8

As we learned from John 1, Jesus is the Word, another confirmation that God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit are one. As Jesus said in John 10:30 “I and my Father are One” these Words come from the authority of Jesus Christ, who told us in Matthew 28 “All authority in Heaven and Earth has been giving to him”

Who are you going to believe, our Lord Jesus Christ or Man? There are many false doctrines about how the Trinity was made up by Man, the Word was here before Man and will be here after Man, I trust in Jesus.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. 2 Corinthians 13:14

Paul confirms the Trinity also with his sermons in Corinthians, if you don’t believe Paul, then you don’t believe half of the New Testament.  The other half of the New Testament Jesus confirmed the Trinity.

Don’t be misled by Man, read the Word of God, follow your heart, seek the truth and you shall find it in Jesus Name Amen
