Everything Is Possible

Jesus asked the boy’s father, “How long has he been like this?” “From childhood,” he answered. “It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.” Mark 9:21-22

A father bought his son to Jesus disciples to be healed, he was full of doubt but he was desperate so figured he would give it a try. Not surprising that the disciples couldn’t drive out the demon on their own. Why? Because of the Fathers lack of Faith in God.

God looks at your heart, he knows your deepest thoughts. To just go through the motions of a Christian are not enough. You need to truly believe and understand the Power of the Living God

“‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.” Mark 9:23

By Jesus response he seems insulted, here’s someone asking him to perform a miracle but they don’t even truly believe he can do it.  Can you relate to this? Are you expecting miracles from God but don’t truly have Faith in God? Faith is what activates Gods power, for we walk by faith and not by sight.

Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” Mark 9:24

The Father then took a leap of faith, he decided he believed Jesus can do all things. Faith is like walking off a cliff and expecting God to catch you, sometimes it seems scary or irrational but we must put our Trust in The Lord

When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the impure spirit. “You deaf and mute spirit,” he said, “I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.” Mark 9:25

Once again Jesus showed his mercy on them and he healed the boy. As Jesus said “Everything is possible for the one who believes” We must live by these word and walk in Faith in Jesus Name Amen

Grace of Christ

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. 1 Timothy 1:12-13

Paul, who wrote over half of the New Testament, was considered an enemy to Christians. He terrorized them including imprisoning them and having them stoned to death. But God sees us differently than people do, he knew Paul had a big heart and when Jesus revealed himself to Paul, he transformed Paul into a servant of Christ.

The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 1:14

If it was up to us we would have considered Paul condemned, but Grace of Jesus is a gift from God that can’t be earned or be comprehended. Nobody shows Love  and Mercy like our Heavenly Father thru the atonement sacrifice of his only begotten Son.

Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners–of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. 1 Timothy 1:15-16

If God can take a sinner like Paul and make him the Saint he is today, imagine what he could do to you? Jesus not only saves you but transforms you into the person you were truly meant to be. Change isn’t easy but all things are possible with God.

At first even the other disciples such as Peter and James rejected Paul, but thru the Holy Spirit they finally saw the good fruit Paul was bearing. Jesus brings hope to the hopeless and will save a wretch like me in Jesus Name Amen

Baptized By God

At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. Mark 1:9

John the Baptist was sent by God to be the messenger to pave the way for the Messiah Jesus. These events were remarkable because it confirmed who Jesus is and would begin his ministry which would change the world and God as we knew them.

Just as Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.  Mark 1:10

Jesus wanted John to baptize him even though John knew he was not even worthy to untie his sandal straps. But Jesus instantly showed his humility and willingness to be a servant. An amazing event then happens as The Holy Spirit descended on Jesus from Heaven.

We must remember that Jesus was just human at this point, so the power of God filled him thru the Holy Spirit to empower him with great wisdom and perform miracles.

And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.” Mark 1:11

And then shortly another critical event happened, where our Heavenly Father, God himself, declared Jesus the Son of God. This is a very significant event that was witnessed by many people including the prophet John The Baptist.

Many will deny Jesus as the Messiah or The Son of God, but these events have confirmed what all Christians believe that Jesus is The Great I AM, The King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. Reflect on these words and allow the Holy Spirit into your heart in Jesus Name Amen

Merry Christmas

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

  • A child is born “ Luke 2:10 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”
  • A Son is given “ John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
  • Governments will be on his shoulders “Revelations 19:16 “On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: king of kings and lord of lords.”
  • Wonderful Counselor “ John 14:16 “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
  • Mighty God- John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
  • Everlasting Father Revelation 22:13 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”
  • Prince of Peace John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

Christmas is not about giving gifts it’s about the gift we received from God our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Word Became Flesh and dwelt among us, not for his own glory but to save us.

Rejoice this Christmas and every day for Jesus came here as a baby in the manger to free us all from the slavery of sin and he will be returning again to reestablish Gods Kingdom that will reign forevermore in Jesus Name Amen

Tree of Christ

Who his own self bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live to righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed. 1 Peter 2:24

Why did Peter refer to a Tree when talking about the crucifixion of Jesus? Because a Tree is symbolic, Romans used to hang people from a Tree that they didn’t feel were even worthy of being killed on a Cross. So the message Peter was trying to convey was Jesus died for all us, even the unworthy.

When you look at the Christmas Tree, remember the Tree that Jesus gave us all the greatest gift of all, eternal life through the Love of God

He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: Luke 24:6

Scientist who studied the “Shroud of Turin” said the resurrection was like an explosion of light, this is what I see when I look at the Christmas Tree. There are many who believe Martin Luther, founder of the Lutheran Church , was the first to add lights to the Christmas tree in symbolism with the resurrection of Christ.

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Revelation 22:13

The Christmas Tree is typically an evergreen tree because it symbolizes the immortality of Jesus Christ. While many trees shed their leaves and go dormant for the winter, the evergreen tree always remains alive and vibrant regardless of the season. This is the same with Jesus, as he is the beginning and the end, he reigns forever.

and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.” Matthew 2:2

The star on top of our Christmas Trees is symbolic of the Star of Bethlehem that led the way for the Wise Man to find Jesus. Some may also use an Angel representing the Angel Gabrielle who was the messenger for Mary and Joseph about the birth of Jesus

There will be many who will call Christmas Trees pagan, but I don’t think many even understand what pagan even truly means. Pagan means you worship many Gods or nature, unless your worshipping your Christmas Tree it’s not pagan. We only worship one Lord and Savior and that’s Jesus Christ. So every time you see a Christmas Tree, remember Jesus and the gift that he has giving us Amen

Name Above All Names

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name Philippines 2:9

When Mary was visited by the Angel Gabriel and told she was going to conceive the Son of God, she was told specifically his name would be Jesus. It’s important to remember that God had giving his Son this Name because it is the Name above all Names.

Many false prophets have come and gone and tried to mislead people to worship a different name. But God clearly defines Jesus is the Messiah, he is the Name above all Names.

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,Philippines 2:10

And even the Shepherds bowed down and worshipped the King Jesus even when he was just a baby. Because they knew Jesus is The Son of God, told to them by a Heavenly Host of Angels praising the newborn King

Every person on this Earth and who is not here today will one day bow before the King of Kings on there Judgement day. Because he was granted all authority by God his Father. Jesus sits on the throne in Heaven and his Kingdom will reign forever.

And every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippines 2:11

And one day everyone will confess the Jesus is King, whether you do today or whether you do tomorrow. Because he’s coming back but this time it will be with a sword to reestablish Gods Kingdom.

He came as a Lamb that was slain the first time and he’s coming back as a Lion of Judah this time, The Name above Names, our Lord and Savior in Jesus Name Amen

Gods Love Is Jesus

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 1 John 4:9

How do we know God loves us? It’s very clear by him sending Jesus as a gift for us. A gift that gives us hope, peace, strength, and grace. There is no greater gift than Jesus and there is no greater act of love than what Jesus has done for us.

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:10

The gift of Jesus is for everyone, even when we don’t deserve it. Thru the blood of Jesus he created a new covenant that allows us to be part of the Kingdom of God. Once you understand the importance of God’s gift of Jesus, you understand how much God truly loves us all.

Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. 1 John 4:11-12

Since God gave us the greatest gift of love thru Jesus, we should spread this gift to everyone. In hopes that the world will recognize Jesus for who he really is, the Son of God, and accept him into their hearts so they may receive God’s gift also in Jesus Name Amen
