Gods Voice

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: John 10:27

The other day me and my wife were on a “date night” when we stopped at the mall. On our way out of the mall we heard a childs voice yelling, we instantly looked at each other and knew that was our kids voice. We walked back to the nearby Pizza shop and there was our kid with his grandparents.

Isn’t it amazing how you could recognize your child’s voice in a crowd of people? This is how God hears us, he knows our voice. The more we pray the more God recognizes us and build that personal relationship with our Creator.

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. John 10:28

Through Jesus sacrifice on the cross, he has given us eternal life. When you accept Christ into your heart, nobody can take away the grace from God. Jesus is the only Truth, Life, and Way, there is no other way to Heaven

My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one. John 10:29-30

Jesus goes on to explain the Father/Son relationship. Jesus was sent from God as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Because of this covenant created at the cross, we are redeemed. Jesus goes on to describe how him and God are one, the Word became Flesh and dwelt among us

Are you casting your cares to God? If so he knows your voice, are you listening for his? God speaks to us in many ways thru the Bible, prayer, and other people. Take comfort in knowing you are not alone, just as a Parent watches over a child, God is watching over you in Jesus Name Amen

Bible Love Story

But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. Ruth 1:16

At first glance the book of Ruth seems like just a Love Story but end results turned out to be greater blessings, not only for Ruth and Boaz, but for the entire world. There grandson would be King David, who also is the bloodline of Jesus Christ.

Ruth was the daughter in law to Naomi, they all lost their husbands due to a great famine. Naomi decides to head back to her hometown of Bethlehem and Ruth decided to follow her. Ruth was not a blood relative of Naomi, but was loyal to her as her daughter in law

At this, she bowed down with her face to the ground. She asked him, “Why have I found such favor in your eyes that you notice me–a foreigner?” Ruth 2:10

Boaz, a rich and respected man of Bethlehem showed great favor to Ruth. This was unexpected because Ruth was a Moabite and not a Jew. Typically, foreigners were not associated with. He made sure Ruth and Naomi were taken care of and showed great compassion

And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to you all that you require: for all the city of my people does know that you are a virtuous woman. Ruth 3:11

Over time Boaz and Ruth became closer, and Boaz declared to all of Bethlehem that Ruth was a virtuous woman, which we know is the highest honor. This was a big deal, remember because Ruth is a Moabite and not a Jew. It was clear Boaz loved Ruth and she loved him also

Then the elders and all the people at the gate said, “We are witnesses. May the LORD make the woman who is coming into your home like Rachel and Leah, who together built up the family of Israel. May you have standing in Ephrathah and be famous in Bethlehem. Ruth 4:11

Boaz went to the elders of Israel to make his marriage official, the elders accepted and gave him this blessing. Little did they know this blessing would come true as they had a son named Obed, who would have a son named Jesse, who would have a son David, who became the King of Israel.

God works in mysterious ways and through Love he saved the entire world thru his Son Jesus Christ who is from the bloodline of Dave Amen

Rapture

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.  Matthew 24:36

Throughout history many people tried to predict the return of Jesus, there are some who even tried to claim he already came back. However Jesus told us only God knows the day and hour, anyone else making claims is clearly a false prophet.

Not even the angels in heaven know, so you know if anyone claiming to know this or was given a revelation, they are a false prophet

But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matthew 24: 37-39

Jesus will return like a thief in the night, the time when nobody expects it. As Jesus teaches us here the world will keep going about their business not paying attention to what God has planned.

But notice the symbolism Jesus uses, “until the day Noah entered into the ark” What happened when Noah and family entered the ark? They were saved from the destruction of the world. What will happen when Jesus returns? We will be saved from the tribulation, which is the ultimate destruction of the world, hence Rapture.

Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.  Matthew 24:40-41

Jesus teaches us more symbolism here, some people will be “taken” and some will be “left”. What is Jesus referring to? Obviously the Rapture, those who believe in Jesus will be saved from the tribulation. Those who reject Christ will face the judgement of God.

Watch therefore: for you know not what hour your Lord does come. Matthew 24:42

As Jesus taught many times, we need to always be prepared for The Day of The Lord. Meaning you don’t want be unprepared when Jesus returns. If you’re holding off giving your life to Christ, tomorrow is not promised. Everyone who calls upon The Lord shall be saved, are you prepared?

Jesus Is Lord

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Romans 10:9-10

Noticing the importance of declaring Jesus is Lord, when Jesus was on trial with Pontius Pilate he was asked “Are you the King of the Jews?” Jesus replied “Are you asking?” Jesus wanted to know who Pilate believed Jesus was, who was he confessing he was with his mouth. Same when Jesus was with his disciples he asked them, who do you think I am? He wanted to see who they confessed him to be before others.

The second thing you notice about this scripture is the importance of the resurrection. We all know the story of Christ Risen on Easter Sunday, but what do you really believe in your heart? Do you really believe Christ was physically raised from the dead? As Paul taught without the resurrection, Christianity is pointless.

As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame. For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile–the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:11-13

God will never leave us or forsake us. We may go thru trials but we can put our trust in Him. But the important thing to notice that the scripture says “Anyone” who believes and “Everyone” who calls on The Lord.

This is important to understand the new covenant created by Jesus at the cross, we are all now Children of God through the blood of Jesus. We can all inherit the Kingdom of God through Christ. Believe in your hearts and declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and He is Risen Amen

My Virtuous Wife

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. Proverbs 31:10

When we consider the blessings God has given us, do we acknowledge our spouse? Consider Adam who was given the entire world, he had everything but was still not at peace. So God sent him his wife Eve do be his partner and they would live a fruitful life.

God has blessed me with my wife, Heidi, and I thank him every day. There is no greater value or blessing you can receive than true love, that’s why a virtuous wife is worth more than anything the world can give us

The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. Proverbs 31:11-12

Trust is the foundation for any marriage, when you can fully trust someone, its value is far above anything. I totally trust Heidi with all my heart and I know she will always be there to support and encourage me.

Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Proverbs 31:28

Not only is Heidi an incredible wife but she is an amazing mother. Our children love her so much and we are all blessed to have Heidi. If she is ever not around, our kids continually look and ask for her, because they love their mother very much and she loves them.

We are blessed, I am blessed for God to have given me my virtuous wife Heidi. We have the peace and confidence knowing no matter what storms may come our way, we will endure as a family in Jesus Name Amen
