The Vine Part 2

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. John 15:5

Jesus teaches us the oneness we have with him, I think the word “adbideth” is interesting here. When you look up the meaning for that word it states “the archaic third person singular present tense suffix” sounds like the description of the Trinity.

So when we stay faithful to God and follow his will, the Holy Spirit abides in us and helps us to create good fruit. Without the power of God, we can do nothing !

If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. John 15:6

Jesus teaches us another revelation of hell, and he says anyone that doesn’t bear good fruit is cast into the fire. When we seek to do our own will, we live a destructive life, therefor our lives become meaningless full of sin and selfishness

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7

When we are fully connected to God through the Holy Spirit and follow his words, we will produce “good fruit” (Galatians 5:22-23) And when we seek to do the will of God, he will bless us. For it pleases The Father to give to his children

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. John 15:8

When we bear “good fruit” it glories God and we truly become disciples of Christ. The key is to stay connected to God  through the Vine of Jesus Christ Amen

The Last Supper

So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover. Matthew 26:19

The disciples didn’t prepare The Last Supper because it was there idea, they were commanded by Jesus to prepare The Last Supper, Why? Because Jesus wanted them and wants you to know how important his sacrifice on the cross is. This is an event that will change the world forever, change the destiny of humanity forever, and defeated sin and death forever.

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Matthew 26:26

Notice Jesus First Blessed the Bread, Then Broke The Bread, and Then gave it to everyone. Just as when Jesus fed 5,000 people with 5 loaves of bread, he first Blessed The Bread and then Broke it. Breaking of Bread is a Jewish custom that the head of the table or household says the blessing and breaks the bread.

Jesus is not only showing them that his body on the cross will be a broken sacrifice for us like the Bread but also he is the King of Kings, he Blessed, Broke, and Delivered the Bread of Life for all of us

Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. Matthew 26:27-28

Without Blood there is no life and without the Blood of Jesus there is no forgiveness for our sins. He is The Lamb of God, the atoning sacrifice for our sins. So by drinking the wine, remember the importance of Jesus sacrifice on the cross.

The cross created a new covenant with God which allows all of us to be a Children of God. Its because of the Blood of Jesus we can stand before God, pure as snow, unblemished.

I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.” Matthew 26:29

Jesus is preparing his disciples on what is about to happen at Calvary. But Jesus gives them words of hope and victory as he tells them they will celebrate again in Heaven.

So when you take communion remember what it means, remember the sacrifice Jesus made for you, and remember the victory we have thru Christ Amen

Ancient of Days

I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days(God) did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. Daniel 7:9

The term “Ancient of Days” was used by Daniel to describe God. Why because God is everlasting. The vison he sees is clearly God sitting on the throne as described in Revelations 1:14-15

However I suggest you clearly read Daniel 7:9 and Revelations 1:14 and notice there descriptions are identical further proving the Trinity between God the Father and Son Jesus Christ

A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened. Daniel 7:10

Another seen that is clearly describe in Revelations 5:11, as thousands of Angels surround God on his throne. And the book being opened clearly is the Book of Life (Revelations 20:15)

Daniels vision is clearly of judgement day when we will all stand before our Lord Jesus and account for our lives.

I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast (Satan) was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. Daniel 7:11

The beast is Satan, and this event is when Jesus destroys Satan and cast him into Hell. This event is also described in Revelations 19:20

As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time. Daniel 7:12

The Kingdom of Satan will be destroyed and all power that Satan and his followers have right now will be gone.

I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man(Jesus) came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days (God), and they brought him near before him. Daniel 7:13

The same even as clearly described in Matthew 24:30, as Jesus is The Son of Man, he is the Messiah and giving all authority by God his Father.

And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. Daniel 7:14

Jesus is King of King and Lord of Lords (Revelations 19:16) he will rule all nations, governments will rest on his shoulders (Isaiah 9:6) He will rule with a rod of iron (Revelations 2:27) and Gods kingdom will rule forever(Hebrews 1:8) in Jesus Name Amen
