Daily Bread
Your words were found and I ate them, And Your words became for me a joy and the delight of my heart; For I have been called by Your name, O LORD God of hosts. Jeremiah 15:16
Do you eat your daily bread? Just as the prophet Jeremiah said he ate the “Word of God”, Jesus taught that “Man Can’t live on just food alone” (Matthew 4:4) Many people commit and dedicate time to maintain their physical bodies but do you dedicate time to feed your Spirit also?
Just as the physical body without food and exercise gets weak, so does our Spirit. When we don’t feed on the Word of God, and spend time daily praying and meditating on Gods Word, we grow spiritually weak. We should make it part of our daily routine, to spend time with God and read his word.
But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE, BUT ON EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD.'” Matthew 4:4
When Jesus was being confronted and tempted by Satan, he said we can’t live off just physical food alone but on God’s Word. This is exactly what he was talking about, if we just focus on our physical needs and not our spiritual needs, we won’t be strong to stand against the devils schemes.
‘Give us this day our daily bread. Matthew 6:11
When we say this during the Lords Prayer, are you asking for physical or spiritual nourishment? I believe Jesus wants us to ask God daily for Spiritual wisdom and guidance by the Holy Spirit. So just as we make it a routine to feed or exercise our bodies, make it a practice to study Gods Word in Jesus Name Amen
The Messiah
But He kept silent and did not answer. Again the high priest was questioning Him, and saying to Him, “Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?” Mark 14:61
The Jewish High Priests kept asking Jesus if he was the Messiah, why would they be asking him this? Because throughout the old Testament are Prophecies of the Messiah. From the book of Genesis to Malachi, there are over 400 prophecies about the coming of the Messiah.
Jesus fulfilled all of these prophecies, the mathematic probabilities of someone fulfilling even a few of them is astronomical. But he fulfilled every prophecy throughout the Old Testament. Everything that happened to Jesus from the Virgin Birth (Isaiah 7) to his death (Isaiah 53) to his resurrection (Psalm 16) and hundreds of other prophecies were all fulfilled even down to the greatest detail of where he was born (Micah 5:2) and his name (Zechariah 6:11-12)
And Jesus said, “I am; and you shall see THE SON OF MAN SITTING AT THE RIGHT HAND OF POWER, and COMING WITH THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN Mark 14:62
Jesus clearly states who he is , he firsts states that he is “I AM”, referencing (Exodus 3:14) The Jewish Leaders clearly understand who Jesus was confirming he is. Sitting at the right hand of God, there is no more powerful position to be at. In Jewish custom the first born son, who inherits everything, is blessed by the right hand of the Father.
Jesus is your Messiah! He is your Lord (Master) and Savior. He is coming back soon in the clouds with Power and Glory, Get Ready in Jesus Name Amen
Love Covers All
Will You Listen?
“And I set watchmen over you, saying, ‘Listen to the sound of the trumpet!’ But they said, ‘We will not listen.’ Jeremiah 6:17
Are you listening? Long ago there used to be people appointed called “Watchmen”, their job was to watch for the any danger and alert the people with the sound of a trumpet. It was vital that these people stayed focused and kept watch to alert their people. But as God said, even though the watchmen were blowing their trumpets, the people would still not listen
“And He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other. Matthew 24:31
When Jesus returns, the sound is described as a “Great Trumpet”. Will you be ready when the trumpet is blown? Are you watching and waiting for his return? Or are you saying “We will not listen”? Its important that we remain prepared and ready for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
“Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour Matthew 25:13
Just as Jesus taught in the parable of the Ten Virgins (Matthew 25) You have to keep your lamps lit, nobody knows the day or hour of Christ return. Don’t be unprepared, don’t be like the foolish people who say “We will not listen”
The King of Kings is returning soon, with the sound of a trumpet, listen to your “Watchmen” of today! Don’t be left behind in Jesus Name Amen!

Do You Doubt?
When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful Matthew 28:17
Do you still doubt Jesus? The disciples of Jesus who spent over three years with him, witnessing amazing miracles and awesome power, yet some of them still had doubt. Why do we have such a hard time accepting Jesus as our Lord?
The disciple Thomas, who earned the nickname “Doubting”, wouldn’t even believe Jesus was resurrected until he got to touch the wounds from the cross. So if some of these disciples still had doubts, it’s not surprising some Christians today have doubts.
Jesus said “Blessed are those have not seen yet still believe (John 20:29) He understands that faith can sometimes be difficult, but if we have faith even the size of a mustard seed , we can move mountains (Matthew 17:20)
But consider this, his disciples gave up everything to follow him. They gave up their professions, families, agendas; they sacrificed everything because in their heart they knew he is the one Messiah. And from a worldly perspective it would seem they lost everything, but in Gods Kingdom they gained everything
So when your doubt starts to creep in, remember what Jesus has already done for you. It’s a historic fact he died for our sins and defeated sin and death at the cross. Jesus is our hope and salvation, there is no other way to God
And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Matthew 28:18
After some of them doubted , Jesus made it clear, all authority on Heaven and Earth was given to him by God. Make no doubt about it , Jesus is our Lord and Savior, Every knee will bow and tongue will confess in Jesus Name Amen
Love Your Neighbor
“The second is this, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:31
If Jesus came back today, what would he think? Violence and racism is at an all time high, here in America. With the recent acts in Virginia over the weekend, we can’t help reflect on what happened to humanity? How did we get to this place where love and respect are nonexistent?
Jesus commanded us to love our neighbor as yourself, not to just love your family or friends but everyone. First part is if we don’t even love ourselves, how can we love others? We need to understand we are all Children of God through Jesus Christ. Your neighbor is a Child of that same God, when you hate your Neighbor, you essentially hate yourself and God.
Who is your Neighbor? Your neighbor is essentially everyone outside your family. Is God saying you need to be best friends with everyone? No, but to display mutual love and respect for one another is essential. That state that society has gotten to at this point is at a critical level.
“If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. Mark 3:24
A kingdom or nation divided against itself will not stand. We can’t expect this country or world to continue to function with chaos and anarchy taking control. Its time we stop the violence and hatred and turn back to God
AND YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.’ Mark 12:30
Goes back to the first and greatest commandment, to love God with all your heart and soul. When you put God first and Love your Neighbor as yourself, you have resolved many of the worlds problems. Love is the answer and the only way to get there is through God in Jesus Name Amen
Rise Up!
Forgive
“Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions. Mark 11:25
One of the hardest and most liberating things to do is forgive. By human nature we like to hold on to grudges. Maybe somebody hurt or wronged you, we feel like it gives us power to hold these people hostage for their sins. But really what we are doing, is trapping ourselves in our own prisons. When we get the power to forgive someone, God gives us the power to have peace!
I know it sound cliché and maybe even impossible. How can you forgive someone who has hurt you? The problem is the tragedy already happened, so while you can’t go back in the past, you can control your future. God didn’t tell us to forgive people to be cruel to us, he told us this because he wants us to be free.
When you don’t allow people or circumstances to control you, you now experienced total freedom. What about justice? Don’t worry our God is a just God, and everyone will be accountable for their actions and sins. We don’t have to worry about convicting people, because they have already convicted themselves.
God also says we can’t be forgiven unless we are willing to forgive. Sounds like a harsh lesson but if we don’t allow God to judge others for us, do we really trust him? We need to let go of our control, and this will allow the Peace of God to enter our hearts and minds in Jesus Name Amen
