Good Fruit

“Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit. John 15:2
Your faith is like a tree, the word of God is like a seed, when you accept Gods word for truth and learn and grow from it, you grow stronger in your faith.

Jesus said we would know false prophets “By their fruits” (Matthew 7:16) if we don’t produce “Good fruit” then eventually God will cut us off (John 15:2), so what is Good Fruit? Lets look at the Fruits of The Holy Spirit

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. (Galations 5:22-23)
If your actions don’t match those qualities of the ones above, then your actions are not from God but from the flesh. Its important we remain lead by The Holy Spirit and not by our own flesh.

Second God says “We will be pruned so we can bear more fruit “ (John 15:2) Some might wonder as a Christian, why would God allow you to suffer? Sometimes our pain and suffering is to prepare us and grow us “Good Fruit”

Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. (James 1:2-3)

Don’t be misled by the fake “American” “Prosperity” Gospel, for anyone who loves this world and things of it, God is not in them (1 John 2:15) As a Christian there will be trials and tribulation, but know in the end we have the ultimate victory by the Blood of Christ in Jesus Name Amen!

Fulfillment of The Law

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. Matthew 5:17

Did Jesus abolish The Law? The word “abolish” means to end or terminate, so did Jesus really end The Law? First  what is The Law? The Law or Torah are the first 5 Books of The Bible (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers,  and Deuteronomy) that are written instructions given by God handed down to Moses. The Law not only defines what sin is, but also the consequences of sin.

Without The Law there would be no consequences for anyone’s actions. Imagine if your town abolished all its laws, what would happen? There would be anarchy, looting, rioting, probably even murder. This is the same with Gods Law, if he abolished it there would be no consequences for sinners. So it wouldn’t make sense for Jesus to abolish The Law.

Jesus did however “fulfill” The Law. What does this mean? We know from the Bible that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23) and we are all sinners (Romans 3:23) therefore if we all lived “Under the Law” we would all be condemned to death. No matter how righteous you believe you are, you are guilty. But on the cross, Jesus became our ransom (1 Timothy 2:6) and took our place of condemnation. As it says God sent his Son (Jesus) born “Under The Law” (Galatians 4:4) Therefore Jesus fulfilled The Law for us.

But if your led by The Spirit, you are not Under The Law (Galatians 5:18) When you truly become a Christian and live for Christ, you no longer live for the flesh but by The Spirit of God. Does The Law still exist? Absolutely, and all those who live by the flesh and reject Christ are condemned under the Law. But all those who call upon the name of Jesus shall be saved (Romans 10:13) Amen!

Perpetual Messiah

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8

Do you believe The Bible is outdated? Do you think God could never understand us today? Well we must remember that God does not change (Malachi 3:6) Our Lord Jesus is the same Messiah who laid down his life for us on the cross.(John 15:13) The same Jesus who now sits on the throne with all power and authority that has been given to him by God Almighty.(Matthew 28:18)

The same sin that separated Adam and Eve from God in the beginning (Genesis 3) is the same sin that separates us today. The wages for our sins is still the same death (Romans 6:23) but Christ has paid the ransom for our sins.(Matthew 20:28) This grace from God will not change either. Once you’re covered by the blood of the Lamb of God,(John 1:29) you are redeemed forever

The same Jesus, who is King of Kings,(Revelation 19:16) will return again to reestablish Gods Kingdom forever. This outcome will not change. Satan will be defeated and thrown in the Lake of Fire,(Revelation 20:10) because he was defeated at the cross. All sin and death has been overcome by our Lord and Savior Jesus, (John 16:33)this will not change. Jesus will not change, he will reign victorious forever Amen

Bread of Life

Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. John 6:35

Why do we need Jesus? Can we live by bread alone? No Jesus told us we can’t live by bread alone (Matthew 4:4) Why? Because the things of this world are temporary but the kingdom of God is eternal, do you want eternity? We worship the God of the living and not the dead (Matthew 22:32), so why keep living like a dead man walking?

Why worry about tomorrow or about what you will eat or drink? (Matthew 6:24) God already knows all your needs and will provide them (Philippians 4:19), he is Jehovah-Jireh our God and provider (Genesis 22:14). What can man do to us, if God has already saved your soul? Don’t fear anyone who can kill the body, fear the one who can kill the body and soul into hell (Matthew 10:28)

For God has already provided all our needs through Jesus Christ, the Bread of Life, The Living Water, those who hunger and thirst for righteousness will never hunger or thirst again. He sustains all our spiritual needs, for the grass whither and the flower will fade but the Word of God will live forever. (Isaiah 40:8) The Word became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14) to save our eternal souls, The Bread of Life, who has broken and given to us all to pay for the ransom of our sins in Jesus Name Amen

Amazing Grace

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—Ephesians 2:8

How can you be saved by Jesus Christ? How can you earn grace? You can’t, no matter what great works you have done, only the blood of Jesus Christ can redeem you. Even though we were still sinners Christ died for us, God demonstrated his awesome love for us at the cross (Romans 5:8) Grace is not something can be earned, it’s the everlasting mercy or our Heavenly Father, that has given us new life.

Does that mean we should do nothing now? Absolutely not, remember Faith without works is dead (James 2:17) remember grace is given to you through faith. How do you demonstrate faith? By your actions in everything you do. Would Moses led the Israelites though the Red Sea by just standing there? No by faith he trusted God to part the waters for him, same way you trust in Jesus to lead you to the Father.

What greater gift is there than eternal life? How much more can God demonstrate his love for you, than sacrifice his only begotten Son to take the wages of your sins? Don’t squander your gift of redemption, accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, let God shower you with grace. And then become a new creature, let you old self die, because you have been born again in Jesus Name Amen

Lost and Found

For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate. Luke 15:24

Do you feel lost? Does your life feel like its at a dead end? Your Heavenly Father is waiting for you to come back home again. Don’t waste any more time, repent your sin, and come home to the Father. Not only will he welcome you back with open arms, God will come running to you. This is what we learn from the story of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15)

Gods mercy endures forever and its new every morning (Lamentation 3:23). The Grace of God, which is a gift given to us through his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ (John 3:16), is freely given to us all (Matthew 10:8) Do you want forgiveness? Do you want to be truly alive for the first time? Come all who are weary and he will give you rest (Matthew 11:28)

Can we even imagine the Love our Father has given us? Even though we were still sinners Christ died for us (Romans 5:8) Did we deserve Grace? Can we earn Grace? No, our Creator knows the beginning from the end (Isaiah 45:10) He knows every hair on your head  (Luke 12:7) and knows you will come back home a new creation with a renewed mind and full of the Holy Spirit in Jesus Name Amen

Love God and Neighbor

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:37-40

When Jesus was asked what the greatest commandment of the law is, this was his reply. Jesus summed up the Bible and Gods plan for us in a few short sentences. As Jesus said if you follow these commands you will inherit eternal life. (Matthew 19:17)

First Love God will all your heart, in order to truly love God we must be obedient to God. As Jesus said if you truly love him you will keep his commandments (John 14:15) Remember Fear of The Lord is the beginning of wisdom and understanding.(Proverbs 9:10) If you have no respect for God, how can you truly love him? Just as Children need to respect their parents, we need to respect our Heavenly Father and his will for our life.

Second once we understand how God loved us even though we were still sinners (Romans 5:8) we need to learn to love our neighbors just as God loved us. For the entire law is fulfilled by keeping this command “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Galatians 5:14) As Jesus said “Do unto others as you would want done unto you (Matthew 7:12)

Many try to overcomplicate Christianity or confuse people with there doctrine, but as Jesus said remember these simple commandments and you have fulfilled the law. Accept Christ as your Lord and Savior , and follow the Truth , Life, and Way in Jesus Name Amen

Build On The Rock

Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. Matthew 7:24

Are you building your house on the rock or the sand? When the storms of life come, is your faith strong enough to withstand the storm? Jesus taught us that the Word of God is like building your house on the rock, this is because the Word of God never changes (Matthew 24:35) . The grass may whither but the Word of God will stand forever (Isaiah 40:8) Meaning God is the beginning and the end (Revelation 22:13) so we can put our trust in his Word because its eternal

What about the storms of life? No matter who you are, you’re going to face a trial and tribulation (John 16:33) Its how we respond to them that makes us who we are. These trials will prove the genuine of your faith ( 1 Peter 1:7) because faith without works is dead (James 2:14) So if your faith is never tested, how can you prove your genuine.

But those who don’t build their life on the Word of God, are like those who build on the sand (Matthew 7:26) when those same trials come, because they have no faith, there life quickly falls apart. See faith is the confidence of what we hope for (Hebrews 11:1) When we have strong faith, we can endure the storms of life in Jesus Name Amen

Power in Forgiveness

For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. Matthew 6:14

Are you still holding on to the pain of past mistakes done to you? Did someone hurt you and your struggling to move on? Jesus taught us that there is power in Forgiveness, instead of holding on to your pain that’s making you a prisoner, release it to God and let the judgement be his (Matthew 7:1)

Is forgiveness easy? No but when we cast our cares to God (1 Peter 5:7), he will renew our strength (Isaiah 40:31) Don’t allow your past hold you down from your future. Jesus said if we can’t forgive others than we can’t be forgiven either (Matthew 6:15) remember even when we were sinners Christ died for us and forgave us for our sins (Romans 5:8)

Remember Jesus who was beaten and nailed to a cross, instead of showing hatred towards others he said “Father forgive them for they know not what they do” (Luke 23:24) If Christ can forgive the world, you can forgive your enemies. Remember Jesus said to Love your enemies for even the pagan love their own family. (Matthew 5)

Don’t allow others to hold your prisoner, the Son has set your free (John 8:36) At the cross all the chains have been broken, you can overcome the world because Christ has already overcame it (John 16:33) in Jesus Name Amen

Childlike Faith

And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:3

Do you have the faith of a child? Have you given up on your hopes and dreams for the future? Jesus taught us unless we become like a child again, we can’t enter the kingdom of Heaven. So what can we learn from children? Are children born with hate, violence? No these are learned behaviors from the world, unless we become reborn again (John 3:3) and renew are minds (Romans 12:2) we can’t become Children of God

Jesus also taught us that children are the greatest in Heaven (Matthew 18:4) , why? Because God resists the proud and exalts the humble (James 4:6) As we grow older we fall for lies of Satan and grow cold. Our priorities become money and we fall for his traps of addictions and sin.

We must relearn as children that Love is the most important thing. What does every child want? They want to be loved by their parents. Love is the fulfilment of Gods law (Galatians 5:14) and Love never fails. (1 Corinthians 13:8) So remember what Jesus said you can’t seen the Kingdom of Heaven unless your reborn again (John 3:3)

We can learn a lot from Children, don’t lose your childlike Faith, your childlike Hope, and most importantly childlike Love in Jesus Name Amen
