Conquerors

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Romans 8:37

Are you a conqueror? Or do you feel like you have been conquered?

The original Greek word used in this scripture “hypernicōmen” means “we are more than conquerors”

First thing we need to understand is there is no greater victory than Jesus Christ. People see Christ dying on the Cross as weakness, but they don’t understand he laid down his life willingly (John 10:18) to save the world. As Jesus said in Matthew 26:53 “Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?”

Jesus is saying “I AM The Son of God, if I wanted to wipe out the world I would, but because of Gods great love and mercy for us, he gave his only Son”

On that Cross Jesus defeated all strongholds against us, he defeated sickness, disease, addiction, depression, anxiety, and most importantly he defeated death.  As we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength (Philippians 4:13)

If Christ is living in you, you are a conqueror. Nothing in this world can defeat or overcome you. Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33) But we must remember that we can’t do anything without faith, if Jesus is truly your Lord and Savior, that have the faith that you are truly a Conqueror

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

Notice Paul’s faith here, he is truly convinced that he is a conqueror through Jesus Christ. Notice there is nothing that can separate us from the love of God. Its time to renew your strength and declare that you are a Conqueror in Jesus Name Amen

Poured Out

“‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.  Acts 2:17-18

Are you filled with The Holy Spirit? The prophet Joel foretold about the coming of The Holy Spirit 800 years before the day of Pentecost. The day of Pentecost was the great day promised by Jesus, that God would send his Holy Spirit and pour it out upon everyone (Acts 1:4)

But make no mistake about it, the Holy Spirit is still with us today and God wants to pour him upon you. As the prophecy is foretold, the Holy Spirit is not limited to anyone, men and women, young and old. If you receive Christ as your Lord and Savior you will be baptized by the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:11)

Jesus taught us about the Holy Spirit as the comforter, the advocate, and helper. (John 14:16) Paul teaches us about the gifts (wisdom, knowledge,faith,healing,miracles, distinguish Spirits, prophecy,tounges)   of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians) and the fruits (love, joy,peace,patience,kindness,goodness,faithfulness, gentleness, and self control) of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22) God wants to fill you up with the Holy Spirit, are you willing to receive him?

Don’t fight the good fight unequipped. We are fighting a Spiritual Warfare and Satan is looking to devour us like a Lion. But we have the same power that rose Christ from the dead living inside of us (Romans 8:11) let God fill you up with his power in Jesus Name Amen

Your Faith Will Heal You

He called out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Luke 18:38

When you’re in a time of trouble, how do you respond? What do you when you’re in a crisis? Often we waste a lot of time and energy trying to resolve our own issues, when God already has the answer and wants to hear from us. Call out to Jesus and he will save you!

Those who led the way rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” Luke 18:39

There are always going to be people rebuking you, telling you to be quiet or telling you that your wrong. But noticed what the blind man did, when they told him to be quiet he shouted to Jesus even louder. See we can’t allow others to distract or derail our faith, set your sights on Jesus he is your Lord and Savior

“What do you want me to do for you?” “Lord, I want to see,” he replied. Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.” Luke 18:41-42

Jesus answered him and said what do you need from me? Its important that we specifically tell Jesus what is wrong. Remember you can’t have faith without action, and this mans action proved his faith to Jesus and he healed him.

Don’t allow others to lose your faith, Your Faith will Heal You in Jesus Name Amen

Happy New Year 2017

Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

2017 is a new year, full of new beginnings and new hope. Whatever trials or suffering you endured over the past year , go into the new year knowing this “Gods mercy is New Every morning”. You can go into the new year with joy, peace and victory knowing this principle that God did not leave or forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6) But he is still with you giving you a New start with his everlasting love

Its time to put on the new self, which is renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator (Colossians 3:10) Now that you know God has granted you grace and mercy by the blood of Jesus Christ, its time to start New. Its time to put away your old self , full of sin and despair, and its time to live in victory for your Heavenly Father.  But you must make the change, Gods mercy is new every morning but you must be new also.

Set your mind on things above and not on earthly things (Colossians 3:2) You can’t expect a new beginning if you don’t change. Stop living for the flesh, which is temporary, and live for God which is eternal. Start this year off with a New Self and a New Beginning. Accept Christ as your Lord and Savior because his Mercy is new every morning in Jesus Name Amen

Light of The World

The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. John 1:9-10

During this Christmas season  when I see all the lights lit up at night, I see the radiance of Jesus Christ. The light of the world sent to give us hope and salvation. There something beautiful about seeing bright light shine in the darkness. This is the beauty of Jesus Christ, when all hope is gone he is our light of the world.

God made in the flesh, and the world still didn’t recognize him. Everyone noticed the light, because a light can’t be hidden. However even though the self-professed experts of the law of God, didn’t  recognize him, they instead condemned and rejected him. Don’t make the same mistake, recognize your Lord and Savior , Jesus Christ

Even though the world was made through Jesus Christ, he lowered himself below the angels to become our Passover Lamb. The light of the world shined among us into this dark world. So when you look at your lights this Christmas season remember the light of the world given to us in Jesus Name Amen

Glorify God

The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told. Luke 2:20

How do you celebrate Christmas? Do you remember to glorify and praise God? When the shepherds were out in the field that night, they were visited by a whole host of angels to tell them the good news about Christ. If Heaven was so excited about the birth of Jesus, shouldn’t we be also?

There are many people who dread the Christmas season, some even feel depressed. But remember how the Shepherds felt when they first heard the good news about Jesus Christ. They were all excited and rejoicing because God fulfilled all his promises of our Messiah.

If you need something to get excited about , think about the new born King. Think about the hope , joy, and peace he has brought to the world because he came to save the world. The Prince of Peace brings Joy to the world because he is the salvation of God.

Just as the shepherds, we need to be glorifying and praising God for sending his only begotten Son in Jesus Name Amen

The Morning Star

“I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel. He will crush the foreheads of Moab, the skulls of all the people of Sheth. Numbers 24:17

Jesus is the morning star, (Revelation 22:16) and it was the Star of Bethlehem that led the shepherds and wise men to the new born King. Balaam, another prophet, who confirmed the coming of our Messiah, Jesus Christ, is the reason we celebrate the season.

A scepter , meaning royalty or King, will rise out of Israel. That King, Jesus, was born in a manger in Bethlehem, fulfilling many prophecies and saving us from our sins. Jesus is the King of Kings (Revelation 19:16) there is no one greater, come and worship your King.

The Moabites had enticed the Israelites into sinning and therefor losing Gods protection and caused major deaths. Jesus has overcome sin and death, there fulfilling this as Moab is symbolic of sin and death.

The people of Sheth (Seth) or people of Seth who was the third son of Noah representing all of mankind. Means Jesus, the Messiah , has come to save all of man kind, which he fulfilled this prophecy on the cross. So rejoice this season for our Messiah has come in Jesus Name Amen

Good News!

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Luke 2:10-12

Have you heard the good news? The news of Jesus our Messiah was born to be your Lord and Savior. This is the message the shepherds were being told that night out in the fields. Notice God didn’t rush to tell the Kings and Queens , he told the Shepherds first. Why? Because Jesus came to free the captives, to make the one who was last now be first, to give hope to the hopeless. Jesus came here for the humble and not the proud.

So where is this great King the shepherds wondered? This mighty King is a baby lying in a manger. The angel told them your sign will be a baby wrapped in cloths.   Do you think Kings will bow down to a child? Only those who listed to God, who don’t have a hardened heart. The Shepherds who listened to the word of God found their salvation in a Manger that night. Do you know where your salvation comes from, look for the baby in the manger in Jesus Name Amen

What is CHRISTmas?

One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God. For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. Romans 14:5-8

What does Christmas mean to you? There are some Christians who choose to condemn the celebration of Christmas and those who choose to acknowledge it, who is the judge? There are some who point out that Christmas has some pagan roots but others who use this opportunity to acknowledge our Lord and Savior. The more I search for the meaning of Christmas, the more I realize it’s a personal decision just as is our relationship with God. Nobody can be converted to a Christian, it’s a personal relationship with our God, just the same nobody can be told what the true meaning of Christmas is.

We can choose to ignore Christmas and pretend it doesn’t exist, but does that lead people to Christ? To the lost that will never hear a scripture or know a Church, can they benefit from not hearing the gospel of the Nativity? Some who claim its not Biblical to celebrate the birth of Christ need to reread the scriptures. Angels, Shepherds, and Wisemen came to bow down to the new born King and rejoice for its the salvation of the human race.

So me and my family will celebrate Christmas and use it to glorify the name and birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. If you agree or don’t agree, its ok. One day we will all stand before Jesus and give account of our actions. May the peace of God rule your hearts this Christmas Season in the name of the Prince of Peace Amen

Message of Christ

Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. Colossians 3:16

This Christmas Season we can have the message of Christ dwell among us, let everyone know that Jesus, our Messiah, was born of a virgin to save us from our sins. The promised Son of God became Flesh and dwelt among us. It’s

One of my favorite parts of the Christmas Season is the songs, there are so many great songs of worship from Away in The Manger to Silent Night to Joy To The World. When these sing these songs, sing with gratitude in our hearts for everything God has given us, including our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

 

Christmas is a great time to teach our Children and others of the Nativity story and let your children know they do have a Savior and Hope for the future. If we don’t teach our children, nobody will.  Let the message of Jesus , the King of King, being born dwell among us all in Jesus Name Amen
