Good News!

Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked. Acts 8:30

Do you have trouble understanding the Bible?  The disciple Philip came across and Ethiopian man who was reading the book of Isaiah, but didn’t fully understand it. The Holy Spirit led Philip to talk to the man and explain the scriptures were about the prophecy of Jesus Christ.

Do you ever feel led to talk to someone about Jesus? You’re probably being led by the Holy Spirit, there are many people out there searching and looking for answers about our Lord and Savior

“How can I,” he said, “unless someone explains it to me?” So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him. Acts 8:31

The man is looking for someone to explain the scriptures to him, and God led Philip right to him. How do you seek wisdom and knowledge of God? When you don’t understand the scriptures, who do you turn to? It’s important we turn to God for the answers and pray for the wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit, as he promised us.

Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus. Acts 8:35

Many people view the Bible in a negative light, but “The Good News” is exactly what it is. Regardless of the struggles and obstacles we may face, we always have hope and salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ! That is Good News and everybody needs to know about it. For everyone who calls upon

Yeshua (Jesus)our Messiah (Christ) shall be saved Amen!

King of Kings

On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: king of kings and lord of lords. Revelation 19:16

Is Jesus the King of your life? Is he your Lord and Savior?  Many people remember Jesus for his sacrifice he gave us on the cross, but also remember Jesus is the King of All Kings, all power and authority over Heaven and Earth has been given to him by God  ( Matthew 28:18)

One day he will return again, and every eye will see him, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11) This just goes to show you how great Gods love is for us, that Jesus would lower himself below the angels (Hebrews 2:9) to become our ransom for the debt of our sins (1 Timothy 2:6)

Just as prophesied all the nations and governments will rest on his shoulders Gods kingdom will have no end (Isaiah 9:6-7) We will have victory through Jesus Christ, as he will sit on the throne at the right hand of God (Revelation 3:21)

So as servants of Jesus Christ we humbly await his return, The Great Day of The Lord, where justice, peace, and love will reign forevermore. Where there will be no more sorrow, pain or death  (Revelation 21:4), for Jesus has overcome death, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords Amen

Our Struggle

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12

Are you struggling today? Do you know what or who your battle is against? All of us struggle, but the important thing is to know our enemy, and our enemy is Satan (1 Peter 5:8) for he looks to devour you like a Lion.

You see Satan has setup traps for you (Psalm 141:9), addictions of the flesh, alcohol, drugs, pornography, violence, they are all traps by Satan to enslave you (John 8:34) until you break those chains , you can never be free from your struggles.

But the good news is Jesus has defeated death and Satan at the cross, (1 Corinthians 15:55-57) through Jesus the slavery of sin has been broken (Galatians 4:7) and you can be victorious though Christ (Romans 8:37)

See you are in a spiritual warfare, not a physical warfare. You can’t defeat your enemy without the power of God, the same power that rose Jesus from the dead can live inside of you (Romans 8:11)

Greater is he (Jesus) living inside of us that he (Satan) who is living in the world (1 John 4:4) We can do all things through Christ who gives us strength (Philippians 4:13)

So are how are you fighting your struggles today? Are you trying to do it alone? Or are you calling upon the name of Jesus, because everyone who calls upon the name of The Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13) in Jesus name Amen

Do You Understand?

Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” John 13:7

Why would Jesus, King of Kings, God in the Flesh, wash the feet of his own disciples? Why would the one who has all power and authority over Heaven and Earth, lower himself to a servant? Jesus was leading by example. He showed us what pure love and humility truly is. Unless we deny ourselves, hence get over ourselves, we can never truly be a disciple of Christ

Just as Jesus did at the cross, nobody realized what he was doing, but they understood later. He lowered himself below the angels, to sacrifice and serve us, to redeem the human race.

“No,” said Peter, “you shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.” John 13:8

Peters reaction is probably the same we would have. If you were face to face with Jesus, you would probably bow down out of respect. But instead Jesus washed your feet, why would the Son of God do this? Because God loves you enough he wants to save you

Unless we accept Jesus sacrifice at the cross, his washing of our sins, we will have no part of God. We can only be saved by royal blood of Jesus Christ. So look at the washing of his disciple’s feet as symbolic to Jesus washing away your sins. The greatest love was displayed at the cross in Jesus Name Amen

Law of Love

For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Galatians 5:14

Many people falsely accuse Christians of being hateful and judgmental, but if your truly a follower of Christ then you would love your neighbor as yourself (John 13:34) You can’t fulfill the Law of God without love in your heart, for Jesus didn’t come to save the righteous but came to save the sinners (Luke 5:32)

When Jesus was asked what are the greatest commandments, he said to love God with all your heart and to love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:37) You can’t be a Christian without Love, for even though we were sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). We are to show the same love and mercy on other sinners (Matthew 5:7)

Does that mean we accept the evil of this world? Absolutely not, for anyone who loves this world does not love God (1 John 2:15) We don’t conform to the ways of the world (Romans 12:2) For the world is ruled by Satan (1 John 5:17) However God loved us enough to send Jesus to save the world and take away their sins (John 3:16)

So if you are a Christian, love your neighbor just as Christ loves you. For the judgement of sins is not ours (Matthew 7:1) For Jesus has been given all authority over Heaven and Earth, and will be the judge (Matthew 28:18) Lead people to Christ through Love and let Jesus save them Amen

The Unseen is Eternal

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18

What if there is more to this life than meets the eye? What if there are kingdoms around you right now , which you can’t see?  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) We need to realize that we are in a spiritual warfare for your soul, Jesus wants to save it and Satan wants to destroy it.

So we need to fix our eyes on the unseen, which is Jesus Christ, because he is our Lord and Savior, blessed are those who don’t see but still believe (John 20:29) When we fix our eyes on Christ, we are victorious in this spiritual warfare of the unseen world. (Revelation 3:21)

You are not in this battle alone, for God has sent his angels to watch over you (Psalm 91:11) God has sent his Holy Spirit to live inside you (John 14:16) Greater is he (Holy Spirit) living inside of us than he (Satan) that is living in the world (1 John 4:4)

So how do we prepare for this battle of the unseen world? For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does (2 Corinthians 10:3) We use our weapons of warfare to fight the evil of this world (2 Corinthians 10:4)  But take heart for Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33), therefor we can overcome also in Jesus Name Amen

AGAPE

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

How do you show love? How do you know if someone loves you? God demonstrated his love for us when Jesus died for us on the cross. Jesus said there is no greater love than to lay down his life for his friends (John 15:13) Not only did Jesus display his ultimate love for you but he also considers you his friend

Many consider love to be a feeling or emotion but Love is an action. Love is patient, Love is kind, Love isn’t proud (1 Corinthians 13) these are all actions to display our true love. Just as God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son to save us from our sin (John 3:16)

This kind of love is called “Agape” which is not to be confused with Brotherly Love. Agape love involves faithfulness, commitment, obedience, and self-sacrifice, this is the kind of love God has demonstrated to us because God is Love (1 John 4:8)

Because God loved us and showed us grace and mercy, we can love each other (1 John 4:11) While we were Gods enemies, he still showed us mercy and love through Jesus Christ (Romans 5:10) Therefor if God granted us Love and mercy, shouldn’t you do the same?

Do you demonstrate love to others? Remember Love is more than just words its an action, just as Faith without works is dead (James 2:14), Love without action is empty in Jesus Name Amen

Unforgivable Sin?

Therefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven unto men. Matthew 12:31

Jesus died for our sins so we can be forgiven, but there is one sin he will not forgive and that’s “Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit”.  So what is blasphemy? And who is The Holy Spirit?

Blasphemy- is an act or speaking offensively against God including profanity.

As Jesus said before he made this statement, “Anyone who is not with me is against me” (Matthew 12:30) So anyone who is committing blasphemy is ultimately waging war against God

We must understand that we are in a Spiritual Warfare for our souls (Ephesians 6:1) you are either on Gods side or Satans side, there is no in between

So who is The Holy Spirit?  Jesus taught us a lot about the Holy Spirit in (John 14-15) He is the power of God, The Comforter, The Spirit of Truth that will dwell in us forever.

We should remember the story from (Acts 5) about Ananias and Sapphira, they intentionally lied and tried to deceive the Holy Spirit and were instantly put to death. Peter told them they had lied to God, this shows you a glimpse how the Father, Son , and Holy Spirit are One

So when you speak against God or use his name in vain, this will not be forgiven. When you target and persecute Christians this will not be forgiven. Before you wage war against Jesus, make sure you know the consequences, because if God if for us who can stand against us Amen

Lost Sheep

“Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? Luke 15:4

Jesus is looking for you, You are his lost sheep, he is the Great Shepherd. He was willing to lower himself below the angels, to save you of your sins. Are you feeling lost today? Come back home to your Heavenly Father, who has been looking for you

And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.  Luke 15:5-6

And when Jesus finds you , there will be great rejoicing. For there is no greater victory than a sinner being saved! Satan roams like a Lion looking to devour you, but rejoice, your Great Shepherd has heard your cries, and has saved you from death

I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. Luke 15:7

And all of Heaven rejoices over your salvation of sin. Come home to your Father, hear the calling of the Great Shepherd , repent your sins and become transformed today in Jesus Name Amen

To Live is Jesus

For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. 1 Philippians 1:21

What does living mean to you? Is living for yourself or this world more fulfilling then to live for Jesus? As Jesus said those who want to save their life must lose it first (Matthew 16:25) Can we truly save our life without losing it first? Absolutely not, for our old self must die on that cross and our new self will be resurrected with Christ (Romans 6:6)

Jesus is the Living Water (John 4:14), with Christ we shall never thirst again. Can you take a drink of the Living Water without repentance? Absolutely not, we must repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand (Matthew 3:2), to repent means to change, your old self has died and you become a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Jesus said to truly be his disciple we must deny ourselves, carry our cross, and follow him (Matthew 16:24), we put our old selves aside and be filled with Christ, who gives us strength, (Philippians 4:13) We no longer conform to the ways of this world but are transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2)

We press on to the higher calling which is Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14) We no longer live for ourselves but Live for Christ, who is the resurrection and life (John 11:25) Without Christ there is no life and that’s why to die on the cross with Christ is to gain eternal life in Jesus Name Amen
