Good News

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:10-11

The Day that Jesus was Born, the Angel said it brought “Good News”. The Biblical meaning of Gospel is “Good News” So essentially the day Christ was born, the gospel was Born also. The Gospel of Christ is Good News for everyone! However often when we hear about the Gospel people react in a negative way or perception

The Angel also said this Good News will bring us all “Great Joy”. Obviously, thing brings Great Joy because Jesus has brought salvation to the world. Jesus has brought us a solution for our sins so we can inherit eternal life.

Some might say I don’t feel this Great Joy , know this the coming of Christ is the fulfillment of Gods promise to bring us salvation. There may be pain in the night but Joy comes in the morning!

“Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased.”Luke 2:14

The worship service continued as all the Angels celebrated and glorified there Lord and Savior being born this day! The Angels said “Peace on Earth”! Where is this Peace? When the world is continually at war with each other, how can there be Peace?

Jesus , The Prince of Peace, gives us an inner Peace that the world cant take away. Knowing whatever happens in this world, you are saved, you are set free, you are loved, should give you the greatest inner peace beyond human comprehension.

Don’t be afraid for the Savior has already been born, receive him into your heart today Amen!

Son Of God

“I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD: He said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. Psalm 2:7

Over 1,000  years before Jesus was born, God promised to send his only begotten Son. What does it mean to be the Son of God? Did Yahweh have a Biological Son? That’s not possible, God is a Spirit not a Man (John 4:24)

Many people are quick to call Jesus the Son of God, but do they really know what being the Son of God means? First we need to understand God and we need to understand the state of humanity.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1

In the beginning God created Time, Space, and Matter. Inside our realm of Time, Space, and Matter we are bound and limited by the Laws of Nature. Outside of this realm God is timeless, spaceless, and immaterial. Our human minds can’t even comprehend this state of being. In order for God to save us from our sins, he needs to become human and enter our realm

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16

God the Father sent Jesus the Son to became man and die for the sins of the world. Wasn’t Jesus just a man? No how could he remain sinless if he was just human? Was Jesus just God? No he needed to become mortal to die for our sins. The occurrence of God and Man coming together in one Jesus, describes him as the Begotten (Only One, Unique, Anointed One)

And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14

God became Flesh and lived among us. How can this happen? It happened when Jesus was born from a Virgin, in a manger, in Bethlehem.Salvation came down from Heaven that day through Jesus Christ Amen!

Immanuel

Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14

Israel asked for a sign from God, and God sent a sign his name is Jesus Christ! What does this sign mean? More importantly what does this sign mean to you? The name Immanuel is a title, same as the title Christ (Messiah) Immanuel means “God is with Us”

God came down to Earth to save humanity. God didn’t just come to save Israel , God came to save the entire world. Immanuel “God is With Us” Think about that.

And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14

God became Flesh and lived among us! Can you imagine God becoming a man and living with us, and not only that taking the penalty and suffering for our sins. Can you imagine the Creator of the Heavens and Earth would care enough about you, to come down and save your life?

Can you imagine the Lord of Lords would leave his throne and become the Passover Lamb of God to free you from sin and death?

This will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Luke 2:12

A sign from God was given to us, Immanuel “God is with Us”. He became the baby in the manger to be our Lord and Savior. Come to the Manger and bow down before your new born King in Jesus Name Amen!

Unity In Christ

To bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ. Ephesians 1:10

When Jesus came down here to Earth, he brought unity to all. By his blood, he created a new covenant that allows all of us to be “Children of God”. This is a real reason to celebrate the coming of our Messiah. Before Christ , we were just Gentiles, hopeless without God. But because God loved us so much he sent his only Son to unite mankind together.

There is no longer Jew or Gentile, we are now one body of Christ. This would not be possible without the fulfillment of our Messiah, Lord Jesus. He fulfilled over 300 prophecies in the Old Testament. The possibilities of anyone even fulfilling a few of those prophecies is one in a trillion, trillion, ect. Take confidence in knowing Jesus is our Messiah, he is the Son of God promised by our Heavenly Father.

Just as Jesus said a kingdom divided among itself will not stand, we must unite through Christ. There is only one Heaven, one God, and one way to get there. Be kind and patient with your brothers and sisters for they will be with you for all eternity. Instead of a mind of division, fix your mind on the unity of Christ in Jesus Name Amen

The Time Has Come!

But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law Galatians 4:4

The time has come! God has sent his only begotten Son born of a virgin!  Because of this great gift given to us from our Heavenly Father , we can now be children of God. Many find it hard to imagine that we could become part of this covenant, but because of the great gift of Christ, the time has come!

We are no longer slaves to sin and death because of the birth of our Messiah. Because of this reflect on the importance of Jesus birth. Our hope and peace could not be possible without birth of Christ. Heaven came down to Earth to save us from our sins.

But because Jesus was born under the law, he had to die for our sins because the wages of sin is death. He became the living sacrifice, the atonement for us so we can be free. The gift of Jesus is the gift of eternal life. Without Christ there would be no hope but since God sent his son we can live in Jesus Name Amen

Light of The World

The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. John 1:9-10

During this Christmas season  when I see all the lights lit up at night, I see the radiance of Jesus Christ. The light of the world sent to give us hope and salvation. There something beautiful about seeing bright light shine in the darkness. This is the beauty of Jesus Christ, when all hope is gone he is our light of the world.

God made in the flesh, and the world still didn’t recognize him. Everyone noticed the light, because a light can’t be hidden. However even though the self-professed experts of the law of God, didn’t  recognize him, they instead condemned and rejected him. Don’t make the same mistake, recognize your Lord and Savior , Jesus Christ

Even though the world was made through Jesus Christ, he lowered himself below the angels to become our Passover Lamb. The light of the world shined among us into this dark world. So when you look at your lights this Christmas season remember the light of the world given to us in Jesus Name Amen

Lower than the Angels

But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. Hebrews 2:9

When Jesus was sent here, born of the virgin Mary, he was sent with a purpose. That purpose is to save the world of our sins so we should not taste death. Even though he is the Son of God, he was made lower than the angels for a little while, to show us the truth , life, and way to our salvation.

So because of what Jesus has done for us, he is crowned with glory and honor. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. God had a plan for our salvation and it all started at the manger and was completed at the cross.

Take time to remember and reflect that the Lord Almighty lowered himself below the angels to save your soul and suffered for your sins. Remember there is no other salvation than from the baby in the manger, Jesus Christ Amen

Gods Gift To Us All

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

We often hear that God is love and this love has been demonstrated by God sending his only begotten Son , Jesus, into this world to save us and be our Lord. Can we really know love without action? You can be reassured by the birth of Jesus, it’s a sign that God does love you! Even though we were sinners, Christ still came down from Heaven and eventually died for us!

God has fulfilled and shown his promises to us by sending Jesus to us. The more you study the Old Testament, the more you realize it’s about the coming of our Messiah. There are about 300 prophesies about Jesus in the Old Testament and all these prophesies have been fulfilled in the manger at Bethlehem.

Shouldn’t you rejoice of Gods other promise of eternal life to whoever believes in Jesus. This is why the sky was filled with angels rejoicing singing “Glory to God in the highest” because God loves us enough to send Jesus to redeem us. Is there any other greater gift? The only begotten Son of God given to us as the greatest gift of all in Jesus Name Amen

Enmity

And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” Genesis 3:15

The first prophecy of our Lord Jesus comes in the first book in the Bible Genesis. You don’t have to read far into the Bible to know that God had a plan for our redemption and it was through his Son Jesus Christ.

Enmity– state or feeling of being actively opposed, or enemy

Notice Jesus is between Satan and mankind. Jesus is the Savior of the world opposing the evilness of Satan. Her offspring that is prophesied is none other than the birth of Jesus Christ. The woman that is prophesied is the virgin Mary. Through the birth of Christ, at the manger, God has revealed his plan for redemption for the human race.

There is no other road to redemption except through the offspring, the Son of God, Jesus Christ. He is the Truth, Life , and Way we can’t get to the Father without him. As God promised Jesus will crush the head of Satan, he defeated sin and death at the cross.

But Satan will continue to strike our heels, meaning he will continue to attack Christians and God. We need to stay strong in The Lord, remember that our Savior was born and he redeemed us all in Jesus Name Amen

Without Excuse

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine nature–have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. Romans 1:20

What is your excuse for not accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? God is telling us there is evidence all around from his creation and we are without excuse! Ever since God spoke the Heavens and Earth into existence his qualities have been clearly seen

Jesus said “Since you have seen me you have seen The Father (John 14:9) God sent his only begotten Son here and dwelt among us. Yet still many deny the existence of our Lord Jesus and deny our Creator and Heavenly Father. Why? Because they walk in darkness, the dark hates the light. The evidence is overwhelming that you are a creation of God and so is everything that came into existence.

So as you celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, celebrate the clear evidence that God is in complete control. Celebrate that even though we were sinners , Christ still came here to Earth and died for our sins. Because God is love and we are without excuse in Jesus Name Amen
