Peace and Strength

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13

Where do you get your inner strength from? Where do you get inner peace? There comes a time for all of us, when we realize we can’t do it on our own. That the world gets too hard for us to overcome by our self. But the good news is we have a Savior (Matthew 1:21), his name is Jesus

We can overcome the world because Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33), because greater is he living inside of us than he that is living in the world (1 John 4:4) There is no greater power or force in this world than the power of Jesus Christ, who can break every chain (Psalm 107:14) and make the crooked path straight (Luke 3:5)

Jesus is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6) through him you can have the peace of God in your heart (Philippians 4:7) Just as the angels declared when Jesus was born, Jesus brought good will and peace on Earth (Luke 2:14) Even though the world is in chaos around us, we can have the Peace of Christ inside us

Those who hope in Jesus will renew their strength, they will soar on wings like Eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31) Are you looking for this Peace and Strength today? Look no further than Jesus Christ, ask him into your heart and be filled with the Holy Spirit Amen

Our Fathers House

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. John 14:1

At some point in all of our lives, regardless of what your faith or beliefs are, you will have to face our enemy death. Many times people don’t even think about God or the afterlife until a death occurs to someone close to them. But Jesus actually taught us about death and what to expect, right before he was going to be crucified for our sins

Jesus gives us the hope and reassurance by starting out “Don’t let your hearts be troubled” he knows the pain of death, as Jesus wept during the death of his friend Lazurus. But Jesus is telling us were going to be ok, if we believe in Christ as our Lord and Savior , we are saved through him

My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? John 14:2

Jesus goes on to describe Heaven, in Gods house (Heaven) there are many room, which means God has prepared a place for us with him. As we know Jesus is living Word of God, the Truth, since he told us this we should expect this after death

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. John 14:3

Next Jesus reveals not only did God prepare a place for us but Jesus himself will come back for us and take us to be with him. Isn’t that a comfort to know when we crossover to the other side our Lord will come get us and we won’t be alone

You know the way to the place where I am going.” John 14:4

Jesus ends with a strong statement, You know the way to the place (Heaven)where I am going” Many will try to complicate death but its simple. When you give yourself to Christ you belong to God. You are going to be with him in his Kingdom forever. Take comfort in these words and promises that our Messiah delivered to us in Jesus Name Amen

Fear No Evil

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4

Are you walking through a dark valley right now in your life? Are you fearful or anxious about your future? We don’t have to be because God told us he would never leave or forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6) Because God has not given us a Spirit of fear but one of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7) So whatever struggle you are facing against, say I will Fear No Evil, because God is with you. And if God be for us who can be against us? (Romans 8:31)

You may say then, how can God be with me? Why does he feel so far away? But Jesus taught us that God would send a Comforter and he will stay with you forever (John 14:16) That comforter is the Holy Spirit, the power of the living God, the same power that rose Christ from the dead is living inside you (Romans 8:11)

There will be trials and tribulations, however God blesses those who perseveres under trial, having stood the test, that person will receive the Crown of Life (James 1:12)  So don’t walk through your dark valleys defeated, remember God has commanded us to Be Strong and Courageous for God will be with us wherever we go (Joshua 1:9) in Jesus Name Amen

Nothing Can Separate Us

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Romans 8:38-39

Is there anything that can separate you from God? For God has chosen us to be his children (John 15:16), and even when we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8) and he loved us enough to sacrifice his only begotten Son (John 3:16)

So even though we didn’t deserve his grace and mercy, God gave it to us anyway, why because he loves us. So what could separate us from our Heavenly Father? Sin (Isaiah 59:2) Sin is a rebellion against God (1 John 3:4) So when we knowingly and continually sin,  we are declaring war on God

However, because God loves us, he gave us the grace and mercy through the blood of Jesus Christ to forgive us of our sins. (John 3:16) The blood of the Lamb took our transgressions and made us white as snow. (Isaiah 1:18)

Satan will continually try to separate you from God, through his traps of sin. (2 Timothy 2:26) However if we fix our eyes and mind on Christ (Hebrews 12:2), we can avoid his traps through Christ who gives us strength.  (Philippians 4:13)

Because the blood of Jesus Christ is more powerful than anything in the world (1 Peter 1:19), and has overcome the world,(John 16:33) we can’t be separated because of the power of Jesus Christ Amen

King of Kings

On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: king of kings and lord of lords. Revelation 19:16

Is Jesus the King of your life? Is he your Lord and Savior?  Many people remember Jesus for his sacrifice he gave us on the cross, but also remember Jesus is the King of All Kings, all power and authority over Heaven and Earth has been given to him by God  ( Matthew 28:18)

One day he will return again, and every eye will see him, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11) This just goes to show you how great Gods love is for us, that Jesus would lower himself below the angels (Hebrews 2:9) to become our ransom for the debt of our sins (1 Timothy 2:6)

Just as prophesied all the nations and governments will rest on his shoulders Gods kingdom will have no end (Isaiah 9:6-7) We will have victory through Jesus Christ, as he will sit on the throne at the right hand of God (Revelation 3:21)

So as servants of Jesus Christ we humbly await his return, The Great Day of The Lord, where justice, peace, and love will reign forevermore. Where there will be no more sorrow, pain or death  (Revelation 21:4), for Jesus has overcome death, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords Amen

Thank God

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Do you give thanks to God every day for everything you have? Many times in life we feel disappointed or feel overlooked by God because we don’t recognize the blessings already in our life. Remember all good things come from God (James 1:17) so if you have anything good in your life then thank him. Whether that would be your marriage, your children, your health, or your profession in all things we need to give the glory to God (1 Corinthians 10:31)

Its important to remember these blessings or victories in our life, because when we go through trials or tribulations (James 1:12), we know our God always gives us victory as he has done in the past.  Just as with the nation of Israel , whenever they felt like God had forgotten about them, he reminded them of his blessings and victories he had already given them . Such as he freed them slavery (Exodus 6:6), parted the Red Sea (Exodus 14:21) and delivered them bread from heaven (Exodus 16:4)

So whatever battle or struggle you are faced against, remind your enemy Satan about your victories God has already delivered you (Psalm 77:11) and remind Satan of his future (Revelation 20:10) Because we have victory through Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57)who has already overcome the world. (John 16:33) Give Thanks to God in Jesus Name Amen

Our Struggle

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12

Are you struggling today? Do you know what or who your battle is against? All of us struggle, but the important thing is to know our enemy, and our enemy is Satan (1 Peter 5:8) for he looks to devour you like a Lion.

You see Satan has setup traps for you (Psalm 141:9), addictions of the flesh, alcohol, drugs, pornography, violence, they are all traps by Satan to enslave you (John 8:34) until you break those chains , you can never be free from your struggles.

But the good news is Jesus has defeated death and Satan at the cross, (1 Corinthians 15:55-57) through Jesus the slavery of sin has been broken (Galatians 4:7) and you can be victorious though Christ (Romans 8:37)

See you are in a spiritual warfare, not a physical warfare. You can’t defeat your enemy without the power of God, the same power that rose Jesus from the dead can live inside of you (Romans 8:11)

Greater is he (Jesus) living inside of us that he (Satan) who is living in the world (1 John 4:4) We can do all things through Christ who gives us strength (Philippians 4:13)

So are how are you fighting your struggles today? Are you trying to do it alone? Or are you calling upon the name of Jesus, because everyone who calls upon the name of The Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13) in Jesus name Amen

Do You Understand?

Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” John 13:7

Why would Jesus, King of Kings, God in the Flesh, wash the feet of his own disciples? Why would the one who has all power and authority over Heaven and Earth, lower himself to a servant? Jesus was leading by example. He showed us what pure love and humility truly is. Unless we deny ourselves, hence get over ourselves, we can never truly be a disciple of Christ

Just as Jesus did at the cross, nobody realized what he was doing, but they understood later. He lowered himself below the angels, to sacrifice and serve us, to redeem the human race.

“No,” said Peter, “you shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.” John 13:8

Peters reaction is probably the same we would have. If you were face to face with Jesus, you would probably bow down out of respect. But instead Jesus washed your feet, why would the Son of God do this? Because God loves you enough he wants to save you

Unless we accept Jesus sacrifice at the cross, his washing of our sins, we will have no part of God. We can only be saved by royal blood of Jesus Christ. So look at the washing of his disciple’s feet as symbolic to Jesus washing away your sins. The greatest love was displayed at the cross in Jesus Name Amen

Law of Love

For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Galatians 5:14

Many people falsely accuse Christians of being hateful and judgmental, but if your truly a follower of Christ then you would love your neighbor as yourself (John 13:34) You can’t fulfill the Law of God without love in your heart, for Jesus didn’t come to save the righteous but came to save the sinners (Luke 5:32)

When Jesus was asked what are the greatest commandments, he said to love God with all your heart and to love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:37) You can’t be a Christian without Love, for even though we were sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). We are to show the same love and mercy on other sinners (Matthew 5:7)

Does that mean we accept the evil of this world? Absolutely not, for anyone who loves this world does not love God (1 John 2:15) We don’t conform to the ways of the world (Romans 12:2) For the world is ruled by Satan (1 John 5:17) However God loved us enough to send Jesus to save the world and take away their sins (John 3:16)

So if you are a Christian, love your neighbor just as Christ loves you. For the judgement of sins is not ours (Matthew 7:1) For Jesus has been given all authority over Heaven and Earth, and will be the judge (Matthew 28:18) Lead people to Christ through Love and let Jesus save them Amen

Pray Without Ceasing

And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves; Luke 11:5

We all heard the phrase “Pray without Ceasing” and that’s exactly what Jesus is trying to teach us here in this parable. Imagine you go to your neighbors or friends house and start banging on their door at midnight, what reaction do you think they will have? It better be an urgent request.

But you knock on that door because you know, you can trust them and eventually they will help and answer you.

And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. Luke 11:7

Sometimes it feels like God is far away or that he’s not answering. The question is do we stay at the door and keep knocking? Or do you quickly go away because you don’t believe God will answer? When we develop a strong relationship with our Father, we know he will not fail us

I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth. Luke 11:8

The key is to “Pray without Ceasing” , keep asking God , keep knocking on the door, and he will answer us. I think Jesus uses a great parable here to teach us how we need to keep praying and also don’t be afraid to call on our Father at any hour in Jesus Name AMen
