Birth To Sin

When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. James 1:13-14

Many people like to blame God when they fall to sin or temptation, but make no mistake about it God is Holy and doesn’t know sin and he doesn’t tempt us. Sin and Temptation come from Satan, he introduced Sin to the world in the Garden of Eden and mankind has been falling in his trap ever since.

Adam blamed his sin on Eve and then eventually blamed God, you need to understand we are all giving the gift of “Free Will”, if you choose sin, its your choice not Gods.

Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. James 1:15

We also need to realize sin begins in our minds, when you give birth to sinful thoughts it grows from imagination to reality. This is why we need to be careful what movies and music we are listening to, when you continually have suggestive thoughts of sin, your allowing Satan to enter your mind and tempt you.

As Jesus taught us if something is allowing you to fall or sin, cut it out. You need to guard your heart and not allow yourself to be overcome by temptation and sin.

Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:16-17

God does not change, he is the same today, yesterday, and forever. And our God is the holiest of holy, he does not tempt us with sin because he doesn’t know sin. Sin is a trap Satan uses to enslave people which leads to death. Every blessing that you have been giving has come from your Heavenly Father not Sin and Tempation.

He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created. James 1:18

But God has a cure for Sin and its his only Begotten Son Jesus Christ, by the power of his blood he can break every chain and make us new again so we can be worth to stand before our Holy God in Jesus Name Amen

Bread Of Life

Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. John 6:32

To understand Jesus teaching on “The Bread of Life” we must first remember Exodus 16, when God supplied the Israelites with food, as he sent Manna from Heaven every day to supply there needs as they traveled through the barren desert.

But as Jesus is trying to teach us, don’t focus on your daily needs here on Earth because its all temporary. Focus on the one who will give you eternal life in paradise, that is forever which is Jesus Christ

Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. John 6:35

Jesus is our manna that God sent down from Heaven. But this manna is greater as it will give us eternal life not just temporary fulfilment. Whoever believes in Jesus will never thirst or hunger again, all your needs will be fulfilled.

Your ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, yet they died. But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which anyone may eat and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” John 6:49-51

Don’t put your faith and trust in the world, put your trust in The Lord who is the only way to eternal life. When you understand this concept you can have peace and strength knowing God supplies all your needs and you don’t have to long or want for the temporary things of this world in Jesus Name Amen

Firstborn From The Dead

And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, Revelation 1:5

What does it mean Jesus is the firstborn from the dead?  Jesus is the only begotten son of God, and by Jewish tradition the firstborn is successor to there father. Jesus was granted all power over Heaven and Earth by our Heavenly Father because he  is the Son of God

By his atoning sacrifice Jesus has freed us from the slavery and condemnation of sin. The King of Kings was willing to lower himself below the angels because  he loves us all

And has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father–to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen. Revelation 1:6

And by the blood of Jesus and through his new covenant you are worthy to be a priest for God and serve in his Kingdom. Because of Jesus we have been washed of our  sins and worthy to stand before our Heavenly Father

“Look, he is coming with the clouds,” and “every eye will see him, even those who pierced him”; and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.” So shall it be! Amen. Revelation 1:7

Make no mistake one day Jesus is coming back, and when he  does the Christians will rejoice and the rest of the world will mourn,  Because Jesus will be coming  back with the sword for Judgement, All who have been rejecting Christ will be left for the tribulation period which will be hell on Earth

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:8

Make no mistake Jesus is not just a prophet born of a virgin, Jesus is the beginning and the end, He was here with God when he created the Heavens and The Earth and he will be here long after were gone. He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords, who became human to save the world in Jesus Name Amen

No Doubt

But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.  James 1:6

Do you really have faith in God, Jesus or The Bible?  There are many who know the Bible or may even know that Jesus is the Messiah, but they still doubt that its true. And although curiosity is a good thing, you have to come to a crossroads eventually, are you going to believe or not.

For we walk by faith and not by sight, but if you really don’t have any faith, what are your walking by? As John Hagee says being a Christian is like being pregnant, you are or you are not. So when your on the fence you can easily get pushed on either side, which side are you on?

That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. James 1:7

Many people throw up half hearted prayers to God and expect him to be there magic genie. Yet they don’t want him interfering in other parts of their life that might affect there pleasure and life style.

Jesus said if you have faith the size of a Mustard seed you can move mountains, but what size is your faith really? If you honestly have no faith in God why should he have faith in you?

Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do. James 1:8

Somebody who jumps between following God and living like Satan is totally unstable. You can’t serve two masters, so which one are you truly going to follow? If you truly want a stable life with peace, hope and victory choose Christ. If you want Peace of Mind follow the Prince of Peace in Jesus Name Amen

Grace From God

One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!” Luke 23:39

Jesus, The Son of God, was crucified between two common criminals. The King of Kings was treated like an animal, despised and rejected by the world because the world didn’t know him. Even though the one criminal was condemned to death, he still found enough energy to Blasphemy and curse the Lamb of God.

Doesn’t this represent the world we are living in today? The world is a sinking ship full of wars, terror, famine, disease, and death. Instead of everyone turning to their Savior they curse him. Christian persecution is on the rise throughout the world including America

But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” Luke 23:40-42

But then you have the other common criminal, even though hes condemned he knows and he confesses that Jesus is The Messiah. And he takes the bold step of asking Jesus to remember him in Heaven. What was the difference? The Fear of The Lord is the beginning of wisdom and understanding.

This man knew his only hope to being saved from Hell was Jesus. And he didn’t know if Jesus would reject him or not, but he took a leap of faith and cried out to The Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43

Then Jesus does the unthinkable, he promises this common criminal he will be in Heaven with Jesus. How can this be? How can this criminal be worthy of eternal life? Because of the Grace of God thru Jesus Christ at the cross.

We are all either one of these criminals, we either accept or reject Jesus. But none of us our worthy of Heaven, however by the Amazing Grace of God thru the blood of Jesus Christ at the cross, we are all made worthy in Jesus Name Amen

Faith Produces Perseverance

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. James 1:2:-3

The definition of perseverance is the steadfastness in doing something despite difficulty or delay. Being a Christian in today’s world is going to take perseverance. Persecution of Christians is at an all-time high, as the world doesn’t want everyone to know Jesus Christ is Lord

This opposition in your life  will test your faith, but can you truly have faith if your never tested? Wasn’t Moses faith tested when he approached the Red Sea? Wasn’t Peters faith tested when he attempted to walk on water? There can’t be a testimony without test,  so lets consider it joy when you are tested for God will lead you through it

Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:4

Jesus has called us to make disciples of all the nations, but in doing this you will receive a lot of opposition. This is why thru your trials and tests you will become stronger when trust in God and not in your own understanding. The Christian faith is a journey, don’t be discouraged by bumps in the road, they will only make you stronger in the long run

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. James 1:5

It’s important that we seek Christ with all our heart, when we knock the door will be opened. Nobody has all the answers but God does. When we don’t understand we should pray without ceasing for instruction and meditate on God’s word daily.

If your facing trials today, don’t give up and get discouraged. Satan wouldn’t  be attacking you unless you were a threat to him, so rejoice in God because you are an overcomer in Jesus Name Amen

God Provides

When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward him, he said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?” John 6:5

There was a crowd of about 5 thousand people there to listen to Jesus teachings. Jesus decided to test the faith of his disciples and asked them how are they going to feed all these people? By human logic it seemed impossible to supply everyones needs. But what Jesus wanted to teach them is to trust in The Lord and let God provide for all your needs.

“Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?” John 6:9

God works in mysterious ways, when there doesn’t seem a way, he makes a way. Just like when Moses came to the Red Sea he parted it, heres a boy who only has 5 loaves and 2 fish to feed 5 thousand people.

Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish. John 6:11

Jesus took the 5 loaves and 2 fish and thanked God for what they had, God instantly blessed them with more food then they needed. Just as God sent manna from heaven to feed the Israelites , he will provide all our needs also, we just need to trust in him.

After the people saw the sign Jesus performed, they began to say, “Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.” John 6:14

After everyone saw this miracle, they all confirmed Jesus is the Son of God. However we should not be waiting for miracles to have faith in God. We need to remember God is our provider and not man, when you understand this principle you can live with peace knowing you are more valuable than many sparrows in Jesus Name Amen
