The federal government should have zero say in definning marriage to begin with. 10th amendment should be read and reread for understanding what the federal government has jurisdiction over.
Yes, for us as Christians. But in an egalitarian and pluralistic nation such as ours, those who may be of differing Faith Traditions or even no Faith should be able to be married by their own definitions. My point was… that the 10th amendment reserves that, definition of marriage, jurisdiction to the States and the People, not the Federal Government. You’d need a constitutional amendment to make it an issue that the federal government has anything to say about what is or… is not for that matter… a Marriage.
The misnamed “Respect for Marriage Act” is grievous… They revile in their wickedness and try to impose their depravity by illegal laws… This is another cause for mourning and weeping, not celebration… Yet, we know that the Lord will execute His righteous judgements. For His Word teaches us how he deals with rebellious nations and peoples….
Yet, our Lord Jesus Christ snd the Holy Spirit warned us these Last Days (e.g., Daniel 7, Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21, 2 Thessalonians 2, 2 Timothy 3, 2 Peter 2-3, Revelation). God bless you too brother and everyone who calls on the Lord with a sincere and pure heart. ✝️🕊
This is poor theology… homosexuality is an English word so of course it was added later… the New Testament was written in Greek…educate yourself before spreading liberal nonsense
I’m preaching the truth… it’s wolves like you who lead the flock astray and send people to Hell… but you probably don’t believe that either… Repent! James 3:1

I found the comment by eguyadeen3 far too difficult to understand to disagree with what she was trying to say as strongly as you did.
