We know that prayer that is according to His will is very powerful and effective (e.g., James 5:15-16), especially prayer that is in agreement with other believers (ref. Matthew 18). However, we know that the Evil One and his minions try to tell people of of the world that prayer doesn’t work, they try to dissuade Christians from prayer, or discourage Christians from praying. We know that these are lies from the Evil One and his children, for they know that prayer works and is an effective and powerful weapon against the evil plans and wicked schemes of the Evil One one and his minions (e.g., Mark 16, Luke 10, 2 Corinthians 10:3-5)! So, of course the Evil One wouldn’t want us to pray!
