What is beyond this life? When we are young, life as we know it seems to go on forever. However as we get older we start understand that life is actually very short. The Bible tells us our life like a vapor in the wind, so when we understand this it brings a lot more things about our daily lives into perspective.

None of us know how much time we have. So knowing this we should live each day as if it could possibly be our last. So what does this mean, does it mean we should spend all our money or go on a permanent vacation? No it means we should spend quality time with our family, we should make sure our loved ones know we love them, we should slow down and actually acknowledge the people around us, we should love our neighbor as ourselves, and most importantly we should love God with all our heart, mind , and soul

So what happens after you die? Depends on who you put your hope and faith in. Jesus overcame death by the resurrection and promised us eternal life if we receive him as our Lord and Savior. Jesus promises when its our time to die, he will come for us and take us to our Heavenly Fathers house. And when God reestablishes his Kingdom we will all be resurrected with immortal bodies, this is the living hope of Christians.

However if you reject Christ, I don’t know what hope you have after you die. However I put my hope in the living God Jesus Christ.

I like where you are putting your focus and thank you for reminding me it’s important to mind these eternal things and service as opposed to trying to focus on how much we can acquire or consume.
